Battle of Two Worldly Experts
"Brother Zhao, Brother Ma, my time with brother Guo is up. We'll come back first" said one of the gatekeepers.
"Yes, go home. Your wife's son must be waiting" said the other two. Then they seemed to laugh for a moment before the two newly-weds stepped in, presumably to exchange with the new guards on duty.
Jing Ling and Qi Rong who had prepared to distract the guards widened their eyes. This is something that is beyond their expectations. Turns out this is the right time to switch guard times.
"Gee, heaven really does help us," Jing Ling said happily. He and Qi Rong nodded at each other to change plans.
Qi Rong threw a handful of pebbles towards the bushes that were outside the gate. It was far ahead from the palace gate. The gravel immediately stole the attention of the guards whose number is now two. The two guards looked around each other vigilantly.

Now what Jing Ling and Qi Rong were going to do was hold the two guards. They'll take over the guard's clothes for disguise.
Without going through much trouble, Jing Ling was able to overcome those two guards. He smiled triumphantly at the two guards who had now fallen unconscious.
"Why are they so weak? A guard should have good strength" Jing Ling said. He was not mocking, but it was reality. So he felt quite astonished.
Qi Rong did not say anything. He intended to take off the clothes of one of the guards. Of course it made Jing Ling protest. She was a young girl, how could one see a man stripped of his clothes in front of her?
"Aiyoh, don't bother me. We men also have upholstery clothes!" Qi Rong was annoyed. Without paying any heed to Jing Ling he began to take off the clothes of the two guards.
Jing Ling grumbled indistinctly. He turned his gaze in any direction and only reached out to receive the clothes of the two guards.
After a while he finally received the guards clothes. But he was confused where to change clothes. Not to mention there was Qi Rong who was not necessarily trustworthy.
"What else? I won't peek at you," Qi Rong said as she realized the doubt on Jing Ling's face. "Hurry up, don't let us get caught."
"Reverse! Don't look at it one bit!" Jing Ling said firmly. After confirming that Qi Rong had not done anything strange, she began to change her clothes.
After a while Jing Ling finally finished changing clothes. He curled his long hair to the point of being invisible. Maybe he looks a little funny, but it does look like a man.
"Heheh, not bad is not bad" Jing Ling said as she looked at her own performance. He was quite satisfied with the result.
Before leaving, they moved the fainted guards to an even more hidden place. Don't let anyone find him.
Now Jing Ling and Qi Rong were walking as normally as possible. They approached one of the guards who happened to cross paths in the middle of the road.
"Brother, can we ask for help?" qi Rong asked politely. He looked very respectful towards the guard.
"We are the newly appointed guards just a moment ago, so we don't have any heavy duty yet. Can you show us the important locations in this palace?" qi Rong. He seems pretty good at disguising himself.
The guard did not just believe it. "Show me your tokens."
Qi Rong and Jing Ling directly handed over the identity token. Luckily he did not forget to take that token as well, because identity tokens are such an important thing.
Finally the guard nodded in confidence. The faces of the two men still felt strange. They are new guards. Well, maybe he should explain a little.
"Alright, listen carefully" said the guard. Then he began to explain the many locations in the royal palace.
"Do you understand it? Don't make mistakes" he said.
Qi Rong and Jing Ling nodded. They thanked him before continuing their steps. Finally they could figure out something like this without much difficulty.
"Well, you're pretty good at deceiving people" Jing Ling said.
Qi Rong simply smiled incensedly. He didn't know if it was a compliment or a mockery. Actually it was lucky that he had heard the names Zhao and Mu. If not, they will not be enough to convince others.
