The Ancient Realm Goddess

The Ancient Realm Goddess
Labyrinths

Nushen Temple has many doors on each side. Perhaps only this made his outer appearance slightly different from the other temples. Each door was wide open. The people who have gone before have moved in first. Outside the temple there are only a few people left.

Before entering the temple, Niu Longhao paused for a bit. He looked at the young children who had already been disciples of the Heavenly Academy a long time ago. Then he said, “The situation inside the temple is unpredictable. There you will each go to a place or room that may be separate from the others.”

Qing Yue'er listened to Niu Longhao's explanation well. The old man continued, “I can't be sure how we can stay together until it's done. Or don't know how to keep us from being separated. According to my knowledge, not many can stay together until out of the temple.”

“I hope you guys will be more careful later. Everything inside the temple is a mystery. This is not something made by humans but is said to be a splash of a goddess whose name is not known with certainty. So try to behave well. Don't be greedy.”

“That's all I want to say. Come in, if it is time then you will be sent out by yourself,” said Niu Longhao. He smiled and waved, allowing everyone to enter.

Qing Yue'er let the others in first. He looked around carefully. It felt like someone was watching him. However, he did not find anyone looking suspicious. He sighed, maybe it was just his excessive feelings.

He finally ignored her. Then he looked at some of the doors that were already open. They looked so seductive, as if inviting anyone to come in. After a while, Qing Yue'er decided to enter the door that was in third place. There was no reason, he only liked the number three.

Qing Yue'er walked in through that huge door. If someone thinks they will see a room containing statues along with an altar of worship, then it is wrong. When he first entered, Qing Yue'er was completely taken aback.

It was not a room containing an altar, but a room that looked more like.... what? The maze? Right, this is the labyrinth room. However, it certainly will not be as simple as an ordinary labyrinth.

Qing Yue'er really did not expect it. He took out his spirit power to detect what might be ahead. However, everything is completely abnormal. His spirit power is not working. It shows that this place has full power over the incoming humans.

It's too mysterious. Finally Qing Yue'er gave up trying to detect it further. Then he began to step forward, sowing through the labyrinth made of stone walls that looked extremely ancient.

In his heart he thought, had he chosen to enter along with the others, would they still walk together?

It won't really have much effect. In this place there were many scattered formations. Once someone steps on or touches them they will be sent to a different place. And strangely the formation would not be detectable by humans. That was why Niu Longhao said that it was difficult to be together until the end.

Qing Yue'er did not mind this. He used to do anything by himself. So if he had to step here alone, there was no fear of anything. He was even more worried about his friends.

After stepping up to several meters, Qing Yue'er arrived in front of the intersection. Where's he supposed to go? He sharpened his observations without using his spirit power. After a while he finally took a step to the right.

It's still nothing. He had not found any treasure or danger. He didn't see anyone else there either. Despite that Qing Yue'er did not feel like giving up. He continued forward until he ended up at another intersection.

This time he stroked his chin while thinking. After a while he took a right direction again. He stepped up several times and now he finds there is another option. Straight or to the left?

Qing Yue'er tried to choose to the left. Then he stepped again. Unfortunately, he found a dead end. Finally he turned around to return to his original place. However, who knew after turning around, he was startled by the appearance of someone.

Wait, it's not someone. After careful observation it finally became clearer. A puppet that was very similar to the human look seemed to be staring at him. His right hand held an enormous iron sword.

Qing Yue'er chuckled. “Isn't your sword too big? Is it not heavy?"

The puppet was as if hearing Qing Yue'er's question. He growled loudly with glaring eyes. His eyes were not like normal humans, but shone with a color as red as blood.

“Aiya, I just said like that and you're already angry? Calm down.” Qing Yue'er looked at the puppet puppet in a bit of seriousness. He did not know where it came from, it seemed like it was part of a temple.

The doll returned. At that very instant he immediately ran while slashing his great super sword at Qing Yue'er.

Whooss!

Qing Yue'er immediately jumped dodging. Instantly the sword attack missed hitting the wall. The wall immediately shook and made an explosion sound. The tmbok that was hit by the attack turned into a slight crack.

“Woah, how can you be so strong?” Qing Yue'er asked in surprise. It turned out that the doll was quite scary. Especially that big sword. If he did not immediately dodge it might have his head already fallen on the floor.

Qing Yue'er finally became more serious. He took the horses and moved forward. His right leg floated up against the sword that the puppet had already swung.

The whossh!

Anngg!

Qing Yue'er did not provide an opportunity for the puppet to attack. He jumped onto the sword and stood there with his left foot. While his right leg was swung to hit the head of the doll.

Boom!

Instantly the head of the doll was immediately detached from its place until it rolled onto the floor. There was no blood because it was just a puppet without life.

The corner of Qing Yue'er's lips was raised next to her. He floated down. Then take out the large sword previously worn by the puppet. It was very thick and heavy. No carvings or markings whatsoever. However, Qing Yue'er felt a little interested. He would pick it up, who knew he would be able to use it in this place.

Qing Yue'er chuckled. It turned out to be quite unique as well carrying such a huge sword. Maybe it should not be called a sword anymore, rather it is a saber with a large size.

After nothing else finally Qing Yue'er stepped in her original direction. However, before that he heard the wall behind him that suddenly shook. Finally he abandoned his intentions again. Now he turned to stare at the wall that had suddenly become foggy.

Whatisit?

Qing Yue'er narrowed her eyes. After a while the fog disappeared and the initially dead-end wall was now open showing another path. Is that the next goal?

“Hmm." Qing Yue'er muttered a little. Finally he stepped closer to the newly opened wall. At first he thought it was a trap or some other dangerous thing. However, he saw something interesting inside the newly opened room.

Without waiting any longer, Qing Yue'er directly entered and checked carefully. Nothing is suspicious. Nothing seems dangerous either. So, now he walked over to the black box located on the stone table.

Qing Yue'er grabbed it for a while. Who knew there would be danger emerging, but it turned out that there was no response whatsoever. He finally opened the black box. There was no difficulty, with ease he could instantly open it.

What was inside the box was a roll of paper that was already tanned yellow. It was definitely a thing that was created a long time ago.

Carefully Qing Yue'er hand moved to take the paper and opened it slowly. What was written there made Qing Yue'er raise both her eyebrows. “Footy Cloud Steps?”

It was a martial technique. Qing Yue'er was unable to ascertain how powerful the technique was and what it was used for. However, since it was inside this temple, it was most likely not an arbitrary technique.

Qing Yue'er nodded in satisfaction. Finally he immediately kept a record of the technique properly. He will learn it another day. Now he's gonna find another treasure.

Actually he was quite amazed. It seemed like he had only entered not too long ago but he had already obtained a treasure. Although it was not a resource to increase cultivation, but it was something quite beneficial.

Qing Yue'er moved away from this room. He returned to the starting line and continued his steps again.

Meanwhile in another corner of Nushen temple, a beautiful-looking woman was moving quickly to escape. Her long, white hair looks beautiful.

His breath was hunting. He wanted to move forward again but it turned out that he was getting a dead end. “Sial!”

The woman turned around. He saw a man in a black robe already standing not far from him. His face did not look so clear because it was covered by a mask that was also black.

The man laughed loudly. His laughter sounded so mocking in the ears of anyone who heard. It really made the white-haired lady feel even more furious. The anxiety in his heart was shifted by his anger.

“Yin Hu, oh, Yin Hu. After a long time of not seeing you, have you now turned into such a coward?” taunt the man.

Yin Hu snorted. “Quan Bufan, I ran not because I was afraid of you.”

The man named Quan Bufan laughed mockingly. “No matter what the reason is, you know for yourself this is a very good time to avenge all you have done to me and my Quan family.”

Yin Hu looked at Quan Bufan with a complicated gaze. It had been a long time since he had met this man. Who would have known it turned out that he could meet her back here.

He came all the way from East Tongxuan to this Nushen temple not to look for trouble. He wanted to increase his strength which had long since gone into a bottleneck. However, it turned out that he had met his enemy who seemed to have already been on top of him. Now he has no way anymore. Maybe he should face it, inevitably.

Yin Hu was silent for a moment. After a while he finally said, “Quan Bufan, I know what you are thinking. If you want to pay it back then do it now. I will serve you with pleasure.”
