The Demon King's Treasure

After going to meet the Great Shaman, Baili Linwu returned to the Heavenly Court with Di Ziyan. His black robe had been opened and now displayed his golden-white divine attire.

At that moment, the sky suddenly darkened. Black clouds rumbled and lightning began to appear. The two people who were in the backyard of the special residence of the Heavenly Court Lord looked up.

“Master, sky punishment seems to be coming,” Di Ziyan said.

Baili Linwu only showed a mocking smile. “One-time fool. Thousands of punishments can never hurt me, why does the sky still bother to send it?”

He raised his hand then a box appeared on it. The black box was mysteriously carved. The size is not so big or small. He dripped his blood on top of the key, then a clicking sound was immediately heard.

The sky is getting darker. Baili Linwu immediately opened the lid of the box. A black gemstone that glowed purplish red was stored within it. His aura was so complex between the aura of a god and a demon. The stone soared into the air and was soon caught.

His expression turned cold as he grasped the stone which was shaped like a human heart. He looked at the thing with a mocking smile. “Other people definitely don't know that all this time I've been shying away from sky punishment.”

Di Ziyan just looked down. He did not dare to comment.

“My father took out his own heart with great difficulty. Then he melted it with the blood of the gods and saints. His efforts were not in vain. He can really make this treasure,” said Baili Linwu with satisfaction.

He raised the black stone in his hand to the sky coinciding with a bolt of lightning descending towards him. The lightning directly hit the black stone to cause a loud explosion sound.

However, nothing happened. The black stone remained intact and Baili Linwu was fine without the slightest injury. He only stepped back a few times.

Baili Linwu walked over to a pond that was in the middle of the room. It was not an ordinary pond as its contents were a sea of blood.

He threw the spiritual ring that Di Zhao and Di Mu gave into the pond. After that, the height of the pool instantly rose which signified that the amount of blood was becoming more and more.

A cold laugh came out of his mouth. The amount of blood in the pond may not be enough to perform the ritual directed by the Great Shaman. However, it will definitely not be long.

“Di Ziyan ..” He called that name out loud. Shortly after, the woman appeared.

“Master, do you need my help?”

Baili Linwu looked at the woman expressionlessly. “I don't want to delay anymore. Immediately spread the demon army to the eight corners of the Celestial and wait for the cue from me. I want Mo Jingtian and those stupid gods to know what Yan Diyu's anger is like!”
