The Ancient Realm Goddess
Jade Market

The jade market was a mysterious place because its sellers were not normal humans. His appearance was indeed the same as that of a human, but they did not speak at all and did not have the look of life in his eyes. They were like empty shells that moved with what force.

When Qing Yue'er arrived there, she looked at the scene in astonishment. There were many stalls guarded by each one of the sellers. Most of the sellers are old men or old women.

Jade is also available in various sizes and colors. However, the shape is the same, not too round and slightly oval. It might not be as beautiful as the other jade, but there was an aura of its own emanating from within.

Qing Yue'er observed someone who was making a transaction. The buyer was a man wearing a bamboo hat. Maybe he's around middle age. The man chose one jade stone, then took out a golden dagger from his pouch.

The golden dagger was shown to the seller, but no response was obtained. Then the man replaced it using a sword that was still lodged in the sheath. After that, the seller will accept it. It turned out that the transaction there was not using spirit stones, but rather through the exchange of goods.

Qing Yue'er was instantly interested in trying. She along with Mo Jingtian moved closer to one of the sellers. He tried to pick a stone that looked attractive. However, he did not know how to choose.

“Jingtian, do I need to choose carefully? What quality jade will determine something?” qing Yue'er asked.

“Of course.” Mo Jingtian nodded. “This row will determine the ship we will use. Keep in mind that anyone would not be able to fly over the Bone Blood Sea. The person who goes across the sea must use a special boat. If not, death awaits.”

Qing Yue'er felt quite surprised. So the sea really has its own natural rules. He became curious, was there really no one to organize all this? It sounds amazing.

“I'm still not sure if in this place there is no one in power. If there were no rulers wouldn't this place meet chaos?” Qing Yue'er finally asked.

“Yue'er, there are many things in this world that are unreasonable and are beyond human control,” Mo Jingtian said.

Finally Qing Yue'er understood and did not ask any further. It seems like everything that happens here does happen naturally. He refocused on the jade and asked Mo Jingtian to pick one for him.

Mo Jingtian took out a single sky-blue jade that was mixed with a cotton-white color. It might not seem too beautiful, but Qing Yue'er felt that there was something special there.

“I will pay for it using ...” Qing Yue'er thought for a while until she finally took out the sword she had previously used to fly to this place.

However, when Qing Yue'er pointed out the sword, the salesman did not give a response. “Ah, don't you want to?” Qing Yue'er felt quite confused. His sword was no ordinary weapon either, but that fellow was unwilling to accept it.

To be honest Qing Yue'er did not have that many treasures since most of the treasures she had were already donated in the lower realms before going to the Celestial. Qing Yue'er rubbed her chin while thinking. What could he use to exchange?

A while later Qing Yue'er took out a bottle of Yin Yang water, who knew the person was interested. Unfortunately, his hope was not fulfilled. This made Qing Yue'er feel uneasy.

“Jingtian, what makes him interested? Look, his face was not even moving at all.” Qing Yue'er grumbled a little.

“Try to give some pieces of golden dragon scales,” Mo Jingtian said.

Qing Yue'er had not previously thought of getting there. After all he almost never took the golden dragon scales from Jinlong. After Mo Jingtian said that, only then did he feel that it was a good idea. Qing Yue'er nodded and immediately asked Jinlong for the dragon scales.

Before long three pieces of dragon scales had already appeared in Qing Yue'er's palm. He immediately showed it to the seller and the seller immediately took the item.

“Ah, your taste is quite big as well,” comments Qing Yue'er. Dragon scales were a rare item because they had to be obtained from divine beasts. The existence of a dragon is hard to know. Only lucky people could get such an item.

“Only ugly jade like this and you won't accept any offer from me?! Then let this grandfather tell you that you're just a lowly salesman in a stuffy market!” the man shouted, but the seller remained motionless.

The man became even more annoyed and immediately floated his sword forward. An unexpected thing suddenly happened. The always-empty eyes of the salesman began to emit a light as red as blood. The light is like a laser aiming at a target.

The change surprised the man. When the red light landed on his head, within seconds an explosion instantly occurred. It was a sight that surprised anyone. The man's head exploded and its contents instantly spurted out in all directions.

Everyone who witnessed it was completely dumbfounded. They had never known that the sellers in the jade market possessed such frightening strength. Secretly they shuddered in horror at the thing that had just happened.

Qing Yue'er was no less surprised either. So maybe this is one of the reasons why the jade market can run for many years. Those sellers though were not like humans in general, but had special power to defend themselves.

“It turns out they were like that,” muttered Qing Yue'er.

Mo Jingtian smiled faintly. He's known this for a long time. People who knew for sure would not dare to make trouble here since this jade market was not a place for one to be careless.

“Jingtian, let's go,” take Qing Yue'er who feels she's done with the jade business. He was ready to go to the Bone Blood Sea now. Mo Jingtian nodded and walked with Qing Yue'er.

They exited the jade market past the stone gate that looked extremely ancient. There were many groups there. They seem busy talking about something.

“When will the treasure come out? This afternoon?” ask the first man.

“People say that. However, the treasure will come out across the Sea of Blood Bones. So we have to cross over there,” reply the man to the two who are cleaning his sword.

“I'm a little scared,” revealed the first man while lowering his head in shame.

“Don't be a coward! Anyway as long as we follow the rules for sure we will be safe.”

“What Brother Qiong said. He said this treasure that was about to come out could match a god weapon. Isn't that great?” The third man spoke.

Qing Yue'er who heard the talk felt quite interested. A treasure will come out across the Sea of Bone Blood? It was a coincidence for him. “Jingtian, are we going there?” qing Yue'er asked.

Mo Jingtian nodded. “As long as there are no signs of demons in the Bone Blood Sea, then we will cross to it.”

Qing Yue'er cheered inside. He was always interested in what was called treasure. “Then let's go now!” qing Yue'er exclaimed quite loudly.

They moved quite far away from the jade market. After that the sea view was immediately welcomed. However, Qing Yue'er was again taken aback by what her eyes saw. It's red! It was a vast ocean that was as red as blood. This was truly true to its name, the Sea of Blood Bones.

What is surprising is not just that. There is more, sea water there that does not have the slightest wave. It was like a dead sea. From a long distance, one will feel uncomfortable. This felt a little scary, especially since the energy there really felt very dead.

Qing Yue'er swallowed her saliva. The rumors are true. The Sea of Blood Bones was indeed terrifying.
