Xie Song led Qing Yue'er into the building. However, before entering he paused for a bit then drew a rune in the air. After that he placed the rune on the door that was still closed.
Qing Yue'er watched him carefully. Then he saw the door that was opened. Xie Song himself did not say much and only invited her to follow him nicely.
In that slightly dark room Qing Yue'er could see many small plaques arranged in such a way. The plaque contains names that sound a little old-fashioned. It was probably the names of the late ancestors of the Xie clan.
Xie Song bowed to the row of ancestral plaques respectfully. Qing Yue'er followed him immediately. After all he had to pay his respects to the clan's predecessor.
After that Xie Song looked at Qing Yue'er for a moment. “Yesterday I haven't shown you who the god we hold his name is. The statue was destroyed but I still keep the painting. Do you want to see it?”
Qing Yue'er rubbed her non-itchy nose. “If according to Grandpa I need to see it then I will see it,” he said with origin.
“Ke here,” take Xie Song while walking towards a fairly large wooden box. “Since you are a descendant of the Xie clan then you should know it.”
Qing Yue'er simply nodded. Then he saw his grandfather who started to open the box. A golden light instantly spread out after the lid of the box was opened. Qing Yue'er felt something quite amazing. It was as if there was something in the depths of his heart that was called.
Xie Song smiled faintly then he slowly picked up the paper scroll that was inside the box. Without waiting for a long time, he immediately opened the paper. Little by little what was painted on the surface of the paper began to appear.
Qing Yue'er's heart skipped a beat as she looked at it. A man is perfectly painted on paper. Although the man was painted from the side, but his good looks could not be ignored.
His long hair was unraveling like a waterfall. His face was though covered by a mask, but it still looked so perfect. The man stood up while hugging the smoldering red vermillion bird whose color was almost fused with his robe.
Behind the man was a full moon. Vermillion feathers seemed to be flying around him. This was an existence that was so alluring as well as having an instinctive divinity.
Qing Yue'er held her breath for a few seconds. He could feel an aura of majesty just by looking at the painting. Is this still the Mo Jingtian she knew? Why did he feel the difference was a little far away?
He turned his attention to the bottom of the painting. There was written a name that was no stranger to him, namely Di Futian.
Qing Yue'er could only fall silent. Even though he already knew this but still he still felt surprised. How could he easily harmonize this kind of reality? The man who was with him for more than three years turned out to be a god whose name was even held in high esteem by his family. He really .. can't express it now.
“Di Futian's. Ah, although I don't know how she is now but I believe heaven will give her what she wants.” Xie Song said as he placed the painting on a platform.
Then he lit up a piece of gold-colored paper stored in a drawer. When the paper caught fire, the scent of sandalwood instantly spread throughout the room. Suddenly, a golden light came out of the paper.
Qing Yue'er inhaled the scent of sandalwood that spread there. Of course this instantly made him think of Mo Jingtian's figure, the man did indeed have an identical scent of sandalwood. He quickly brushed off the shadow.
To be honest, he was curious about what his grandfather was doing. He saw the golden light created from the paper seem to float to the ceiling before it finally disappeared.
“What is Grandpa doing?” qing Yue'er asked.
“Your grandfather is pinning a request on Di Futian for the sky to help us.”
Qing Yue'er did not know whether to laugh or not. That was to say, did Mo Jingtian have such a job? He really can't imagine it. It did not look to match the image of Mo Jingtian who had been together with him all along.
“Yue'er, you should also do it once,” her grandfather's orders without paying attention to Qing Yue'er's expression.
“Grandfather, if he really knows then I think what Grandpa wants will definitely him do,” Qing Yue'er murmured.
“What did you say?” asked Xie Song who did not hear Qing Yue'er mutter.
Qing Yue'er immediately shook her head. Then he burned the gold paper. In his heart he whispered, “Jingtian, if you hear me then I want to say one thing. Don't come! I mean, don't interfere when I'll take care of the Liu clan. Do you know now?”
Qing Yue'er watched the golden light that soared to the ceiling. He whispered again, “Don't laugh at me. I just want to know if you can really hear requests from people.”
After he finished he saw his grandfather who had come back to roll up Mo Jingtian's painting. The old man treated the painting very carefully. Qing Yue'er could only sigh.
“If you can rise to become a goddess then I hope you can meet her,” Xie Song said while saving the painting.
“Why should I meet him?” qing Yue'er asked.
“At least you should convey my admiration for him,” his grandfather said happily. It was as if what he said was a very natural thing. Heavens, it turned out that Qing Yue'er's grandfather was a huge fan of Mo Jingtian.
It felt like Qing Yue'er wanted to shout and say that she had already met Di Futian. He had already spoken to her many times and in fact, he had already clung tightly to her. But of course he can't say all that. Yeah, that's the secret.
“Why can Grandpa admire him so much?” qing Yue'er asked after becoming calmer.
“I only heard it from a dead ancestor. The Ancestor said that Di Futian experienced a lot of opposition in the Heavenly Court. However, from the point of view of the ancestors, Di Futian was the only one who had the majesty of a true god. I think Di Futian has his own reasons for doing anything.”
Qing Yue'er could only be stunned. Mo Jingtian experienced a lot of opposition to the Heavenly Court? Looks like he just found out about this. What did that man do? He became curious.
“Already, already. Don't talk about it anymore. My goal is to bring you here not only for this, but there is another important thing,”, said Xie Song who broke Qing Yue'er's thoughts.
“What is it?”
Xie Song walked to another place. He tried to open a door there. Miraculously Qing Yue'er did not know since when there was that door there. He just realized it now. Could it be that his grandfather who had indeed previously deliberately hid the door?
Qing Yue'er looked at her grandfather who took the key from her sleeve. The key is not an ordinary key because of its slightly unique shape. It looks more like a trigram that has 8 sides. The key was placed into place and the door opened immediately.
Bright light was immediately visible from inside the door. Qing Yue'er was shocked when she realized what was behind it was a completely different place. He followed his grandfather in and he ended up on a hill covered in green grass.
Xie Song slightly smiled. Then he stepped closer to the giant pine tree. With a familiar feeling he patted the big tree while saying, “Look, I came to bring my grandson.”
Suddenly the pine seemed to squirm as if hearing what Xie Song said. The leaves were waving in every wind, as if they were greeting Qing Yue'er's arrival.
Seeing this definitely made Qing Yue'er feel astonished. Does this pine tree understand what his grandfather said? This was enough to amaze him.
“Yue'er, come here. Let me tell you something important,” said Xie Song.
Qing Yue'er directly obeyed her grandfather's words. He came and sat down beside the old man. Sitting under that huge tree, the air felt extremely cold. This is a peace. Qing Yue'er really felt it.
“Do you know the true treasure of the Xie clan?” xie Song asked who was instantly replied with a headband by Qing Yue'er.
“The true treasure of the Xie clan is not a very powerful sword, not a god-class martial technique, nor is it a trivial crystal stone that can increase the cultivation of the citizens of one clan.”
“Then ...”
Xie Song nodded his head. “This, this pine tree.” He looked at Qing Yue'er elaborately. “This pine tree is the true treasure of the Xie clan.”
Qing Yue'er widened her eyes slightly. He never thought he would hear this. He thought the treasure of the Xie clan was a weapon that had the power of a god. Or maybe it was also a martial technique that when used would be able to destroy Celestials.
In fact, he was sure that people also thought the same thing as him. They definitely did not expect that the treasure being chased by the Liu clan was a giant pine tree. If it's like this, it just means that the tree is definitely not an ordinary pine tree.
“I've been hiding this for a long time. I try as hard as I can to keep everything a secret. However, I must be disappointed that the Liu clan has found out the truth. They know it and that's why they wasted so much effort trying to snatch this tree.”
Qing Yue'er could see the sadness in the depths of her grandfather's eyes. Surely the old man had made a lot of effort to defend the tree. Although he did not yet know what the role of pine trees was and what the benefits were, but he could tell his grandfather valued the tree very much.
“Grandfather, you are a great man,” Qing Yue'er said.
Xie Song was slightly amused by the remark. He smiled then said, “I devised many plans just to deceive everyone by making other treasures to fake. Others believed and did not care much, but the Liu clan still knew the truth. I thought maybe this was destiny.”
“This pine tree has been around since an unknown time. Turns out I failed to keep it a secret.”
“Grandfather, if it's fate then this is not a failure. Grandpa tried to do well. However, what about the destiny of wanting to let the Liu clan know? Don't blame yourself,” Qing Yue'er said gently.
“Good girl. Why are you so smart to entertain me?” Xie Song chuckled softly.
Then he looked at Qing Yue'er seriously. “The ancestor once said that this pine tree is a treasure as well as a powerful weapon. They asked me to never give it to anyone outside the Xie clan. It should be like that. However, this is funny because until now I did not know how this tree works. In fact this tree has never come out of its place.”
After hearing this Qing Yue'er became wondering. Could it be that this pine tree could turn into a weapon like a sword or something else? If even his grandfather didn't know, how would he know?
“Whatever it is I don't want this pine tree to fall into someone else's hands. Yue'er, can you help grandfather to take care of him?” xie Song asked seriously.
Qing Yue'er did not directly say approval. He stared into the distance. It felt a little heavy if he were to be trusted like this. He did not know what the future would look like and he himself did not know what his fate would be.
“Why does grandpa talk like this? Grandfather will still live for a long time,” Qing Yue'er said.
“Ah, how do we know when I will die? It could be later when we attack the Liu clan I will die there.”
Qing Yue'er directly hit Xie Song. “Don't say like that, Grandpa.”
Xie Song chuckled again. “So, how?”
Finally Qing Yue'er replied, “I will try to take care of him, but I also cannot promise I will be able to do it for good.”
“It's okay. I feel more relieved now,” said Xie Song.
Qing Yue'er did not say anything more. Now he thought of one thing more. His grandfather did not know how to use this pine tree. While the Liu clan kept pressing to obtain it. So, does the Liu clan know how to use the tree?
He became increasingly clueless. However, he could not think of many things. Well, maybe he'll find out later. By the way he was also actually curious as to why his grandfather had left something like this to him. Why not just go to Uncle Wuqing?
“You may be thinking about Wuqing,” said Xie Song who seemed to know Qing Yue'er's thoughts. “Wuqing is a gentle man, I think he is too soft. Seeing you who dared to go against Xie Mao and dared to enter the Liu clan alone, made me think that you were the right person.”
Qing Yue'er akhinya nodded in understanding. He stood up and patted the giant pine tree. “In the future you should work well. I will definitely find a way to use you and by then you may have to submit to me.”
The tree suddenly shrieked again. Qing Yue'er smiled looking at him. “Take this as your consent. Then I'll go now. Yeah, don't worry. You won't fall into Liu-Liu's hands.”
Xie Song smiled seeing this. Then he invited Qing Yue'er to return to the ancestral room. However, he suddenly saw something falling from above and stopped right in front of Qing Yue'er.
“What is this?” Qing Yue'er who was curious immediately picked up the thing. Apparently it was a pine tree flower that was already brown in color. When he held it he could feel the pressure of spiritual qi from within the flower.
“This is ... does he give you this for a breakthrough?” xie Song asked in amazement.
Both of Qing Yue'er's eyes immediately sparkled. He nodded his head happily. If judging from the abundant spiritual qi, he could deduce one thing. This was a resource to increase his cultivation level. And this would be as useful as the Celestial Peaches he had once eaten.
“Grandfather, it looks like I should try to perfect it,” Qing Yue'er said enthusiastically.
