The Lake in the Forest Depth
Qing Yue'er and Luo Qingqi went towards the north. They were both looking for Jing Ling and Ming Yuxia. The road they walked turned out to be getting more uphill. The roots of trees cross each other on the ground. If one was not careful perhaps they would stumble many times.
It was already getting late in the afternoon, but Qing Yue'er still had not found the person she was looking for. Where are Jing Ling and Ming Yuxia? "Did they go too far?"
"It seems that in front there is a flat ground, we should see it," Luo Qingqi said as she gazed to the end of the road. There did not seem to be any trees there. The sky looks blue and brighter. They should check it out.
Eventually the two men went up. When they arrived at the end of the road, they were immediately shocked. Not because of anything scary, but the sight that was plastered in front of them was something amazing.
There was a flat land like Luo Qingqi said. On the ground there was a huge lake. The lake has such clear water. Like a mirror, the trees and clouds in the sky are also reflected on the surface of the water. Anyone can see its naturalness.
"Xinyu, get over here! Isn't nature here amazing?" shouted Jing Ling. It turned out that he and Ming Yuxia had already gone that far. They first found the lake.
Qing Yue'er felt relieved when she saw her two friends found. He was already thinking too much out of fear of something happening to them. Then he and Luo Qingqi approached Jing Ling. After arriving at the edge of the lake, Qing Yue'er checked the water. There was nothing strange, he drank the water. His throat immediately felt fresh after he drank it.
"Well!" Jing Ling exhaled violently. "Are we gonna spend the night here?"
"What do you think?" qing Yue'er asked.
"The air is so open here." The more silent Ming Yuxia opened her voice. "This place is perfect for anticipating danger at night."
Luo Qingqi nodded, agreeing with Ming Yuxia's opinion. On the edge of the lake there were indeed no large trees, it made the space there so open. If at night there is an attack from another animal or creature then they can see or know it quickly. This is a great place to stay overnight.
They all decided that. After that Jing Ling and Ming Yuxia went around to look for twigs and firewood. It will be used to make a campfire. While Luo Qingqi decided to look for something she could eat. Then Qing Yue'er? He just walked around the lake casually. After all, he was the one who expended the most energy. So, he was told by the others to rest.
Qing Yue'er walked down the outskirts of the lake. The afternoon air there was so comfortable that it hit his skin. Suddenly his eyes found something that caught his attention. He immediately approached and checked if his eyes had been mis-caught. When he was near, he finally became convinced.
"This is a plant of dragon saliva!" Qing Yue'er exclaimed in astonishment. He never expected to see the plant again. Both of his eyes immediately sparkled, especially after realizing that the number was more than the plants he had encountered in the forest before.
"Jingtian, do you have any guesses?" Qing Yue'er asked Mo Jingtian.
"You must have thought of something. Let's wait if there really is such an animal," Mo Jingtian said.
Qing Yue'er nodded. "Don't forget to give something to Bright Fur and Dark Fur."
"I took good care of her," Mo Jingtian said. Meanwhile, in the dimension, he raised two small bears by strangling his back neck. Then he hung them in the air. His lips smiled mockingly at the bear babies. It made the baby bear struggling to escape. If they could then they would prefer to walk away from this dimension in order not to meet again with that ruthless man.
"Good." Qing Yue'er did not know what was happening so she remained acting as usual. Then he took the leaves from the plant and put them in a bag. After that, he returned to his original place.
As he returned to his original place it coincided with Jing Ling and the others also returning. It just so happened that the twilight had come down. Finally they immediately made a bonfire and prepared for just a regular dinner.
Xie Wuqing approached Qing Yue'er. His smile grew when he saw the girl was there. "Xinyu, what a coincidence we met here."
Jing Ling looked at the newly arrived group. He had heard of Qing Yue'er having an interaction with a senior named Xie Wuqing. According to the traits he had heard it seemed like the person was this. So do they know each other?
"Senior Wuqing, nice to meet you," said Qing Yue'er who made Luo Qingqi frown. Actually the girl still did not know about the relationship between Qing Yue'er and her uncle.
"Can I join you?" xie Wuqing asked.
