CHAPTER 13. I Missed you

"Grandmother, I'm actually in a relationship with the second prince of Hwangguna" Arumeey said, sipping garlic soup.

"WHAT????" maepong's grandmother was wide-eyed at what her grandson had said.

"What did you just say Arumeey?" asked Grandma Maepong as if she could not believe the words she had just heard from her granddaughter.

"Why grandma, why are you so surprised??" ask Arumeey for a surprise.

Grandma Maepong let out a long sigh. He also doesn't know what to say to Arumeey.

"Grandma, are you okay?" asked Arumeey who saw an unusual look on her grandmother.

"I'm just worried that Arumeey, the palace is not a good place for us, grandma is afraid that you will get into a lot of trouble" Maepong's grandmother said.

"Grandmother, you don't have to worry too much, I can take care of myself" Arumeey said, stepping aside from an empty soup bowl.

Grandma Maepong was silent, there was a radiance of sadness emanating from her eyeballs. Maepong's grandmother took the empty bowl and took it to the wash.

"You look healthy when I leave, don't you miss me?" arumeey asked as she stroked her favorite horse.

Arumeey stepped inside his horse stable, he walked slowly to the corner of the cage, there was an elongated box neatly covered under a long chair. Arumeey opened the box and smiled looking at the contents.

Arumeey pulled out a jet-black arrow with a handle made of high-quality maharani wood. There's an eagle carving on top of his handle.

Arumeey stared fixedly at the arrow then he took a long pouch containing several arrows and hung it on his shoulder.

Arumeey approached his beloved horse and immediately rode it.

The sound of horseshoes descending the hill towards the Sinaga meadow.

Arumeey took his arrow and prepared to shoot a canala bird that was flying there and pecked the insects that perched on the yellow flowers of Sinaga grass.

Arumeey drove his horse closer to the spot. He picked up the poor canala. Arumeey was silent for a moment.

After staying a few nights at Maepong's grandmother's house, Arumeey prepared to be ready to immediately return to Hwangguna college. Arumeey stuffed her luggage into her bag.

Maepong's grandmother appeared at the door of her room. Arumeey stopped her activities and approached her grandmother.

"Grandmother, I will return to taraka today" he said

There was a sadness on the grandmother's face.

"Well, my grandson, you must study hard. Take care of yourself there" said Grandma Maepong Lirih.

"Grandma, I'll be fine. You don't worry, my wounds are dry, it's all thanks to a great grandmother" Arumeey said, trying to allay the grandmother's grief and worry.

Maepong's grandmother smiled as she held her grandson's hand.

"Alright Grandma, I will convey it" said Arumeey and embraced the thin body of the grandmother.

After saying goodbye Arumeey immediately rode a black horse that he rented to horse renters in the city of Taraka. He went down the hill and passed through the Sinaga meadow, after entering the forest, Arumeey suddenly stopped. He noticed there were some horse footprints leading to the maepong grandmother's house.

Arumeey squinted his forehead.

He got off his horse and touched the footprints.

"This trail is not a new trail, it has been around for a few days" Arumeey said.

"But why haven't I seen anyone visiting my grandmother in the past few days?" ask Arumeey to himself.

"Hmmmmm. It's a little weird" Arumeey murmured.

He rode back on his horse and turned his gaze to the hill behind him.

After an exhausting journey, Arumeey finally reached the city center. He walked towards the horse rental. Arumeey handed the horse over and took back his badge.

As Arumeey walks through the town's market, Arumeey realizes that he is being watched. Arumeey continued his journey to Hwangguna college.

In the middle of the street Arumeey was very surprised when someone pulled his hand from the side in the middle of the market crowd.

The hand kept pulling it to the side of a cake shop to avoid the crowd.

"You who?" asked Arumeey to pull her hand.

Arumeey tried to pull his hand but could not escape. The hand then pulled Arumeey's body and hugged her tightly.

"YOU, how dare. Let me go." cried Arumeey to the man in black and covered his face with a black mask.

Suddenly the man whispered something in Arumeey's ear.

"I miss you, where have you been?" his whispers.

Arumeey was surprised and let go of his embrace. He pulled the mask that covered the man's face.

After the black mask was opened, Arumeey spontaneously re-embraced the body while smiling happily.

"Why are you dressed like this prince?" arumeey asked the man who was none other than her lover.

"Don't switch the conversation, you know, you've made me almost die from missing you" she said stroking Arumeey's soft blonde hair.

"I'm sorry, your majesty, I didn't have time to tell you" Arumeey said, letting go of her arms.

"I visited my grandmother, at first I did not intend to stay, but for one thing, I was forced to stay for a few days" he said, looking into the prince's eyes.

"I miss you too" he continued.

The second prince Hwangguna smiled happily at Arumeey's words.

"Then, why is your majesty dressed like a ninja in the middle of the day blind?" arumeey asked in curiosity.

"I'm investigating a case that happened a few days ago in the town of Taraka" the prince said

"Casus?? Did I miss so much news?" arumeey scratched his head.

Prince Zhumma smiled at the innocent behavior of his lover.

"In recent days there are many illegal weapons that are supplied to the city of Taraka, I investigated with some of the palace soldiers. I fear it has to do with rebellion" said prince Zhumma.

"Rebellion?" ask Arumeey.

"Yes, there are a lot of rebels trying to get into the palace later this year, this is also related to the crown prince's coronation" said the second prince.

"Crown prince's coronation?" ask Arumeey.
