CHAPTER 22. The Sacred Tree of Paveera

Arumeey returns to Hwangguna college with a heart covered in black clouds. His sadness because of the change of the prince increasingly painful, now coupled with the pain of grandmother Maepong.

Arumeey kept a sample of Maepong's grandmother's blood in his closet. He'll research it later. Actually he was very lazy to enter the racik room because he had to meet with teacher Ang, but he had to do it because he had to research the blood of Grandma Maepong.

Today the first test will be held. Arumeey tries to stay upbeat for the sake of her grandmother.

One by one, he answered the questions. After all the eyes of the exam he successfully passed, Arumeey came out of the examination room. While in front of the examination room Arumeey's steps instantly came to a halt.

In front of him was a man whom he greatly missed. Arumeey's heart feels hot. It felt like he was scattering and hugging the Prince who was in front of him at this moment. The second prince also stared at her for a moment before continuing to step ignoring Arumeey.

The head of the palace physician who walked hand in hand with the prince gave a smile that mocked Arumeey.

"Look at this glorious annual report. There are seventy students who will graduate this year" said professor Hongdang, handing over the yearbook.

The second prince only looked at the book blankly. His mind was filled with the girl he had just ignored. He asked her why her heart hurt so much when she ignored Arumeey.

"There were twenty students from the medicine department. The major has graduated the most this year" said professor Hongdang.

After opening a few sheets, the head of the palace physician closed the book and placed it on the table.

"Isn't it too soon to make sure they all pass?"

"The disciples have obtained all of his appraisals madam. This final exam is just to fill out the grades to get the best student" replied master teacher Hongdang.

"alright. It's already me stamp. I must return to the palace" said the second Prince.

The second prince immediately left Hwangguna college.

Arumeey got up from her bed wiping her tears. He left Hwangguna college. Arumeey rents a horse and rides it towards the sacred tree of the pavera.

Arumeey immediately descended from his horse after he reached the pavilion of the paveera tree. Not many people came today. Just look like some people there.

Arumeey walked over to the place of the sacred tree. A small flower was seen covering the twig of the big tree.

"You promised you'd see the paveera blossoms with me. But where are you now? You are not here." said Arumeey with a cloudy face while smelling the fragrant aroma emitted by the flower of the tree.

Arumeey saw the blue thread he had tied there. Her tears were unbearable. He walked closer to the branch. All the memories from last year filled his mind again.

"You promised you wouldn't dump me. But why do you feel like a stranger to me now" Arumeey sobbed under the beautiful tree. He sat crying while hugging his knees.

The enormous tree gave her space to hide and cry. What Arumeey did not know was that behind the tree was a man who was also dwelling in his grief. The second prince of Hwangguna sat leaning against the big tree while looking at the flower of the paveera he had just picked.

The two are unaware of each other's presence. Two equally wounded hearts were resting on two opposite sides of the tree. The sacred tree of the paveera bears only a silent witness to the same longing cry felt by the two hearts.

In the evening Arumeey prepared to go to the racetrack. He took a sample of Maepong's grandmother's blood and stuffed it into his pocket.

"Kanayan. What are you doing?" arumeey asked the beautiful girl who was sitting on her bed.

"I'm just fantasizing about Arumeey. What's up?"

"Am I bothering you?" ask Arumeey.

"Of course not Arumeey. I can fantasize again later. What was? Do you need anything?" Kanayan asked full of questions.

"Actually I'd like to invite you to accompany me, if you don't mind?"

"Accompanying you? Where's where?"

"To the racik room. There's something I need to look at" Arumeey said.

"You're so weird. Didn't you get used to going alone to the racquet room. But okay.. I'll accompany you. Count the eye wash" said Kanayan while rubbing his hands.

"Eye wash? Are you having eye pain?" arumeey asked in innocence.

"Ckkp. Arumeys. It's just a figurative sentence. I will accompany you so that I can meet the handsome teacher Ang" he said.

Arumeey was silent for a moment.

"alright. It's up to you. Quickly change your clothes" said Arumeey

The two girls stepped into the Hwangguna college racquet hall. Arriving at the racik room seemed some people were working on tasks there. Arumeey is grateful that she is not alone.

Arumeey stopped his hand when he heard the word Prince. She's sad. But trying to ignore it. He was busy with that tool.

Arumeey took a sample of Maepong's grandmother's blood and dripped it onto the glass. Then he looked with magnifying glasses and turned the magnifying object.

Arumeey gasped with a trembling body when he saw what was in the blood of Grandma Maepong. She was so shocked. His feet felt weak. She did not expect her grandmother to be exposed to a rare disease virus.
