The Beast Beauty's
CHAPTER 39. Powerless

With an irregular breath Arumeey tried to get up and approach the body. He wanted to make sure again, whether his eyes really did not look wrong.

Arumeey checked his pulse, ascertaining whether he was alive or dead. His pulse felt so weak. Arumeey saw wounds all over his body. Blood had soaked his clothes mixed with the blackened ground.

"What exactly happened to you?" Arumeey asked even though he knew he would not get an answer.

"Huh. For what I care, you're the one who made me like this. I'd better be grateful to see you like this" Arumeey got up and left the body of the dying man.

Just a few steps, Arumeey suddenly stopped his steps.

"grandmother. Are you gonna be mad to see me like this?. Do you think I should help her?" Arumeey looked up at the sky. There was doubt in his heart.

Arumeey let out a long sigh and turned around to approach that weak body.

"You're a real troublemaker" with Arumeey's annoyed face trying to pull the body of king Shaka who was covered in wounds and blood.

Arumeey tried to pull the tall body up the dark abyss.

"You're so heavy!. There are too many sins you have committed. How troublesome!" with an annoyed face Arumeey tried to keep pulling the body to get to the top of the hill.

With bad breath finally Arumeey managed to pull the body of king Shaka. Arumeey sat down for a moment beside the king's body to relieve his fatigue. He looked back at the face of the man he hated the most. Curiosity is haunting him more.

Arumeey rose again and swept the body of king Shaka into his house. With a doubtful heart Arumeey paced back and forth beside the dying body.

"Is my action right?. Should I help her?. What if he kills me?"

Arumeey seems hesitant to help the king of Shaka.

"Ahh, fuck!. What I'm doing!. I'm a healer. My job is to help people. I shouldn't have been cruel to her even once" Arumeey tried to shake off the doubt in her heart.

Arumeey began to remove clothes that were already very dirty due to blood stains mixed with the ground. There was a big wound in the stomach of the King. And multiple cuts all over his body. Arumeey began cleaning the body of king Shaka with a wound-cleaning cloth. There was no reaction from the king of Shaka. He just lay like a body without a soul.

Arumeey took the medicine and bandaged the wounds all over the king's body. After the entire wound was wrapped, Arumeey covered the body with a cloth.

Arumeey sat pensively staring at the king's pale face. He still did not expect that the person in front of him was the king of Shaka Hwangguna who was famous for his arrogant and haughty nature.

Tiredness makes Arumeey feel tremendous sleepiness. Arumeey fell asleep on a chair in front of the king of Shaka. Hours later Arumeey slept until midnight. Arumeey woke up and was surprised to find herself asleep on a chair.

Arumeey was again surprised as her eyes caught the sleeping figure before her. A few seconds later Arumeey's consciousness had returned. He began to remember what happened. He approached the body of king Shaka and touched his forehead.

His body temperature started to heat up due to the medicinal reaction and also the huge wound that was on his stomach. It was like sweat was drenching his body.

After feeling safe, Arumeey finally decided to rest in his room. The night passed so quickly.

Arumeey woke up and immediately ran out. He saw the king of Shaka still lying there. Arumeey walked up to him and touched his forehead. His body temperature is back to normal. Arumeey was a little relieved.

Arumeey walks into the bathroom and cleans herself. He removed the wound mask and cleaned his face. After getting dressed, Arumeey put the scar mask back on his face. He was afraid that the king of Shaka would come to his senses and see himself.

Arumeey walked out to his horse and took his arrow. Arumeey descended the black hill and began to stalk the canala. After archery several times Arumeey returned with two canalas.

Burning cannalas are great for healing wounds. Arumeey cleaned it and burned the canalas and made a pot of garlic soup. The fragrant aroma of garlic soup made her stomach feel hungry. Arumeey ate rice with soup and kept one bowl for the king of Shaka.

It was already noon, but the king of Shaka was still not awake. Arumeey again examined his wound and applied the medicine and cleaned it.

"How long are you going to sleep. Getup!. Don't bother me for too long, I'm not a waiter!" grouse Arumeey.

Minutes change minutes. Clock change clock. But there is no sign that King Shaka will be awakened. Arumeey was getting tired of waiting. Amid the saturation Arumeey again remembered with the kwasoh tree that was under the ravine there.

Arumeey stepped back and began to descend the abyss slowly and heartily. Upon arriving under the kwasoh tree, Arumeey observed the tree closely.

"This tree looks very old. But who planted it?. All this time I've never been down here" Arumeey murmured.

The tree seems to have grown for more than half a century. A tree cannot grow tall. The oldest can only grow to about five meters. But the tree in front of Arumeey has a height of almost three meters.

"Is grandma?. Why did you plant this tree?. I've seen him down the cliff a few times. Is it really the grandmother who planted it?"

"Why so many puzzles in my life. Grandma, is there something you're keeping from me?" Arumeey looked at the sky with a sad face. Arumeey looked around the kwasoh tree, there was nothing there, only a trace of the body of the king of Shaka that rolled off the edge of the cliff.

"What exactly happened. Why did the king's personal guard wound the king of Shaka. This is really hard to understand!" Arumeey decided to go up soon because it was getting dark.

Arumeey again sat down before the king of Shaka. There is still no sign that he will be awakened. His pale lips and scarred face still could not remove the good looks from the face of the ninth king of Hwangguna.

Arumeey again examined his wound and applied a wound healing medicine.

"You're the one hunting me, but you're the one being hunted. Maybe it's karma from your bad attitude. Thankful that you were found by me. If it wasn't for the kwasoh, maybe you'd have rotted down there!" Arumeey spoke while looking at that pitiful face.

Tonight Arumeey decided to go to bed early. After confirming the state of the king Shaka Arumeey immediately went into his room.
