CHAPTER 23. Funeral

"Arumeey. You okay?, what's up?" kanayan asked to see Arumeey's changed face.

"I--- I-I'm fine Kanayan" Arumeey said with a flat face.

"You sure? What exactly are you researching?" asked Kanayan in wonder.

"Arumeey. May I speak to you for a moment" Teacher Ang arrived to approach them.

Kanayan glanced at Arumeey who just silently did not answer.

"Arumeey. Arumeey" call Kanayan.

"Ma--I'm sorry I have to go soon"

Arumeey got up and ran out of the racquet room.

Teacher Ang and Kanayan simultaneously call Arumeey who just left.

"What should I do. Why did my grandmother get a rare disease?" Arumeey crying in the middle of the garden of herbs.

"I have to see Grandma" Arumeey said.

"grandmother. Drink this" Arumeey gave the cup to Maepong's grandmother.

"Now grandma has to rest. I will prepare dinner" Arumeey said, rising from his seat.

"Arumeey. How's your exam?" asked Maepong's grandmother to stop Arumeey's steps.

Arumeey walked over and picked up the animal.

In the evening Arumeey served roast meat on a small table in the kitchen . Grandma Maepong entered the kitchen with a still weak step.

"grandmother. You're up. I've prepared dinner. Let's eat" Arumeey said with a smile.

"How are you Grandma?" ask Arumeey.

"I feel so much better after taking the medicine you gave me" Maepong's grandmother said.

"grandmother. From tomorrow you should take the drug regularly. I've put it in a little urn near your bed"

"Alright Arumeey. I'll drink it"

"I'll make more grandma medicine. You must heal" Arumeey said in his heart.

The next day Arumeey returned to Hwangguna college. Arriving at the town of Taraka, a strange sight welcomes his arrival.

"What?? His Highness King-" Arumeey was speechless at the spot where he stood.

"That rare disease is really terrible Arumeey. Not even the chief physician of the palace could handle it."

Arumeey opened her closet and took out a black dress

"Prince. You must be very hurt right now. I didn't have a chance to tell you. I don't even know if the medicine will actually cure that rare disease" Arumeey said. A speck of dew dripped from his eyes.

Arumeey and Kanayan were standing by the road waiting for the party from the palace to cross the street.
