The Amityville horror became one of the most grisly murder horror stories ever recorded in the United States.

Amityville House is a large Dutch colonial-style lakeside mansion located at 112 Ocean Avenue in Amityville, New York. At first the house seemed mediocre, until there was a big event there.

The creepy story in this house comes from the events that occurred in 1974, starting when Ronald DeFeo,** suddenly shot and killed 6 members of his family. It is not known what the motive was behind the murder. But Ronald insisted that "the voice in the Amityville house told him to do that".

The case is colored by a number of oddities. Although the perpetrators did not use rifles equipped with silencers, the neighbors did not hear the sound of gunfire.
