Sleeping Beauty (Sleeping Beauty)

In a faraway kingdom, there lived a just and wise king. The people are also very prosperous and happy. The life of the kingdom and its people is perfect.

It's just that, like no ivory that does not crack there is less felt in the kingdom. Less is felt because the queen, the wife of the king never have children. The queen and the king every day never tired to pray that soon be blessed offspring.

Until one day, their prayers were answered. The queen conceived and eventually gave birth to a very beautiful daughter. It was called Aurora.

As a form of happiness, the king and queen held a thanksgiving by inviting the nobles, the people up to 7 good-natured witches to pray for the princess.

The first witch cast a spell, “You will be a beautiful princess”.

The second witch cast a spell, “You will be an honest and kind daughter, as good as your parents”.

Third witch casts a spell, “You will grow up to be a smart child”.

The fourth witch cast a spell, “ You will be a wise man.”

Fifth witch casts a spell, “You will be a beautiful princess who is good at dancing”.

The sixth witch cast a spell, “You will have a good voice and be good at singing”.

Lastly, it was the turn of the seventh witch to cast a spell. But before he recited the spell, came the evil witch from the palace door who arrived – arrived open and said, “Because I was not invited, I will curse your son. O king, listen up! The princess will die pierced by a thread” spinner needle she said in a thunderous voice while laughing cunningly.

After the curse was issued, the king and queen cried. The seventh witch who had not previously cast a spell then approached the king and queen to calm them down.

“Let's just relax, I still haven't cast a spell. Spell from me, I will help ease the curse of the evil witch. Your daughter will not die. After being exposed to the spinner needle, he would fall asleep for 100 years and wake up again if there was a prince who came with sincere intentions to him.”

After the incident, the king immediately ordered all the palace servants to collect and burn all the twine spinners stored in the palace.

When he was abandoned by his parents, Princess Aurora took advantage of the time to walk – way out of the palace. It turned out that there he found a castle and in it was a room he had never seen before.

Inside the room, an elderly grandmother was also seen spinning the thread. Watching Princess Aurora look at her with curiosity, the grandmother asked the Princess to sit in front of the spinning tool and asked her to start turning the spinning tool.

When the thread spinning tool was rotated, the Princess' finger was suddenly pierced by the needle. The Princess screamed in pain and immediately fell to the floor right then and there.

The old grandmother who was actually an evil witch immediately laughed with satisfaction to see the Princess who fell down and he considered her dead.

On the other hand, the entire palace was worried because it knew Princess Aurora had gone missing. The king who had returned from his visit with the queen also ordered all his troops to find the Princess. The princess was found unconscious.

The king must be very sad over the situation of his son. Then the seventh witch who previously said the Princess would not die but only fall asleep for 100 years recited her words first.

He also fenced the entire palace with a spell so that no one could come infiltrate the palace.100 years passed. Arrived – arrived a prince came from across the country who happened to pass in front of the palace and was curious with the thorny bushes that fenced him.

The prince tried to cut the thorny bush but failed until a good witch came to give him a sword. When the sword was used to cut through the thorny bush, the bush was exposed and the prince managed to enter the palace.

But the prince's journey was blocked by a large dragon which was the incarnation of an evil witch. The dragon continued to attack and spew hot flames. The prince tried hard to avoid the fire.

He also tried to attack the dragon and when the dragon was off guard, he threw his sword towards the dragon and the sword was stuck in the dragon leger. The dragon fell to the ground and then transformed into an evil witch who later died.

After conquering an evil sorcerer transformed into a dragon, the benevolent witch informs the prince of the Princess. He also showed the room where the Princess was asleep. The prince looked for the Princess until he arrived at a room and he saw a beautiful princess lying there.

The prince kissed Princess Aurora's cheek and that's when the evil witch's curse disappeared. The princess also woke up. Finally, the princess married the prince. Both lived happily, and the king and queen were very happy.
