As a young girl, Tiana lived in a cozy little house in New Orleans. He and his father loved to cook together. They make the best gumbo in town!
They dream of opening a family restaurant one day. So one night, Tiana makes a request to the night star so that their dream can be realized.
As Tiana grew up, she never stopped hoping to have her own restaurant. Tiana knew that hoping was not enough.
He worked hard to make his dream come true. But it makes him not have time to have fun – or for love.
One day, Tiana's friend Charlotte asks Tiana to make her famous grill beignet. Charlotte makes a mask party for a prince named Naveen.
With the money earned from making beignets, Tiana is getting closer to being able to realize her dream of owning her own restaurant.
Dressed in a princess costume for a mask party, Tiana makes one more request to the night star, She still hopes to have her own restaurant.
After mentioning the request, suddenly a frog spoke to him!
That's Prince Naveen! A magic spell had turned him into a toad. Only a princess' kiss can break the spell, and Naveen thinks Tiana is a real princess.
At first Tiana did not want to kiss the frog. Then Prince Naveen offers to help her open the restaurant, finally Tiana closes her eyes and kisses him.
But Naveen did not return to be a prince. Even the opposite happened, Tiana turned into a frog!
In a panic, Tiana and Naveen leave the party and end up in a bayou.
They meet a crocodile named Louis who likes to play the trumpet. Louis knows who can turn them into humans again: Mama Odie!
Tiana shows Naveen how to work hard for what he wants, and Naveen teaches Tiana that having fun is also important. They became good friends.
That night, the Night Star shone brightly in the sky. While Louis plays the song on his trumpet, Naveen and Tiana dance gracefully to the music.
The next day, Tiana and Naveen arrive at Mama Odie's house. He knows everything about magic – and human nature.
“You want to be human, but you don't know what you need!” Mama Odie told them.
Mama Odie uses magic to show Tiana and Naveen that Charlotte will be Mardi Gras' daughter for the day.
If Charlotte kisses Naveen before midnight, the magic spell will be gone. They should hurry home!
But by the time Tiana and Naveen returned to the city, it was too late. The clock is at midnight, and they're stuck as frogs forever.
But they have each other – and love each other – that's exactly what they need.
The two frogs returned to the swamp and then they married among their friends. After marrying Prince Naveen, Tiana becomes a true princess.
This time when he kissed Naveen. Naven and Tiana turned into humans again!
Together, Naveen and Tiana open the restaurant Tiana had always dreamed of with her father.
Tiana finally has everything she wants and everything she needs.
