The Fall of the Star

The Fall of the Star
Chapter 26 Sinking or Rising

Days later Ayudia passed with great confusion. However, Mr. Anwar and Bu Nani never stop doing good work by holding a lecture at home and also several times holding a prayer meeting with the wishes for the recovery of the princess.

During that time, Ayudia actually in her heart already knew the truth, but there was one side in her that was unable to accept the fact. That was what kept him still enduring half the hallucinations he had created himself.

Several times the arrival of friends from the factory who are still attentive to him makes Ayudia immediately want to come back to work. The company has issued its last salary but with a note that Ayudia has been brought up he can at any time ask to enter work again because his ability is also still needed there.

At other times, Ayudia seemed resigned and just quietly waited for a bath, then ate and then slept again. Just that until a few days interspersed with chatter not connected from the neighbors who sometimes come to just ask the news.

Bu Nani had often invited him to congregational prayer at home but Ayudia did not want to be moved. He said his own prayers but in fact every take water ablution he then confused the sequence and when forced, he prayed but also forgot the reading. Bu Nani often witnessed this until secretly the woman cried for her daughter. Ayudia's behavior is like a person has lost his mind.

“We are forced to pray together only, Mom. From the prayer even wrong all.” That's what Mr. Anwar said.

“Iya, yes, sir. My mother was also worried about seeing him. If left so later even his mind gets more chaotic,” said Bu Nani agreed.

Finally they managed to ask Ayudia to join the congregational prayer at every time the prayer arrived. Mr. Anwar as a priest if he is at home, or Bu Nani who replaces when the husband is still in his workshop. Over time God finally gave the gift of healing to Ayudia. He was made aware of all his mistakes and his mind began to be able to sort out which ones are real and which are only hallucinations.

One morning he woke up panting because he was haunted by such a frightening dream. Not about ghosts! But a fear will die while all his sins have not been atoned for at all. He was eager to meet Elvira and admitted everything he had ever corroded as a lie before his best friend. He wanted to apologize and plead with Elvira not to be angry with him so that he would not go to hell just because of his lies.

“Nak, you why? The nightmare? How to get cold sweat like this?” The mother approached when she opened her son's room that morning to take him to take a bath. Yes, for bathing Ayudia must be told and waited for because she said she was afraid to take a bath herself. He said it was as if there was a large, dark-black figure constantly following him wherever he went.

Ayudia cried and asked where Elvira was.

“Strift Elvira. Ma'am. Search!” his door was roaring full of pain. His voice was like a deer that was badly injured and was about to die. Bu Nani shuddered so scared.

“Bu, He wants to meet Elvira, Mom. Quick, Mom, call!” please again while moving uncontrollably.

“Duh, briefly, Son. Let me call first, yeah. If he's still in Surabaya, there's no way he can come straight here, right? Wait for him to take off first,” said his mother while taking Ayudia's phone lying on the nightstand.

Luck seems to be on their side. Elvira is at her house as it is a quiet week to prepare for the semester exam.

“Oh, fine, Mom. El will be there right now,” replied Elvira without wasting any more time. He immediately rushed motorized to the house of Ayudia which was only about five kilometers away.

Once there, Elvira was invited directly to meet Ayudia in the room. The girl was flabbergasted at Ayudia's increasingly apprehensive condition. His body seemed to take care and haggard like rarely bathing. Hair is also rarely willing to be combed so it looks messy here and there.

Seeing the arrival of Elvira, Ayudia looked up and cried as she pleased while covering her face with both hands. He was very embarrassed but had to admit at that time or there would be no other opportunity.

“Dia ... You want to meet me?” elvira asked after looking at the question towards Bu Nani who was waiting at the end of the door and saw the old man nod his head with a troubled face.

Ayudia stopped crying and nodded her head several times. Not enough once. Until Elvira ventured forward and sat down with her best friend.

Ayudia looked at Elvira with an inexplicable look. Elvira almost avoided her gaze but tried to strengthen herself and dispel her own fear.He only held firmly to the belief that Ayudia would not harm her physically. No. gabe. Ayudia is not that kind of person. He sure is right about that.

“I'm sorry, yes, El. Huhhuuuu ..” A word glides then is connected with a long cry and does not stop for some time.

“What's this about, Him? You don't have anything wrong with me, you don't have to apologize?” persuade Elvira to let the cry of Ayudia subside. But it didn't work. His cry grew more heartbreaking until a while until hoarse was heard.

“Silence, Dia. Okay, I'm sorry you, you're not wrong with me anymore, yeah. Cup, diem diem. That's his voice out.” Elvira the confusion silenced Ayudia until finally the girl's cry subsided little by little.

“You're my only friend but you're the one I've lied to the most all this time, huhuhu.” Again the cry of Ayudia echoed throughout the room. Ms. Nani had gone from the end of the door, apparently to the kitchen to make drinks for her son's guests.

“Ssttt ... already, the pass let. The important thing is we start another new chapter, huh? I'm sorry about that, kok.” Elvira put on a happy face because she thought Ayudia was definitely on her way to recovery because of the evidence she was willing to apologize with full awareness.

“You want to forgive me? Still want to be my friend?” ask Ayudia like a child. He stared probing into Elvira's eyes that sparkled with pleasure and seemed very sincerity there.

Steadily, Elvira nodded her head. “Iya dong's. We're bestie, honey! Bestie it must accept her friend as is—“

“Even if his friend is a god-level braggart?” sela Ayudia lowered her head deeply. The shame now spread in his heart. He was embarrassed to admit it but would be even more embarrassed if he did not want to admit it himself at that time.

“Hehehe ... The important thing is not to repeat again, yes!” remember Elvira patiently.

Her happiness at seeing the signs of Ayudia's recovery overcame her heartache when lied to all this time. He could suddenly understand all the mistakes of the friend just by hearing the apology accompanied by a sobbing cry.

Really, having a friend as good as Elvira was an invaluable sustenance for Ayudia. Bu Nani who returned to bring the remaining drinks and small snacks was moved to see Ayudia and Elvira were now hugging while crying.

“Still yes, El. You're the only one who's wanted to understand me all this time. Only you want to be my friend even though I am not a college boy,” said Ayudia in between tears.

“You are wrong, He. The other friends really do not differ from you, either. Want you to go to cake school, cake work. Nothing is different based on that. You've been feeling too much all this time, Dia.” Elvira gave a little enlightenment so that Ayudia did not continue to prejudge other friends. Indeed, it was only after knowing Ayudia lied about the status of fake students that they were actually angry and avoided Ayudia.

“Now everything must have hated me,” said Ayudia moody. He took a deep breath and let it out slowly.

“Udah, you don't have to think about that just now, huh? The important thing is that you recover first as before. Then we'll figure out how to apologize to them, too? How's it? I'll definitely meet you, kok.” Elvira persuaded meekly. Which made Ayudia filled and touched by the kindness of her friend.

“You seriously want me?” Ayudia wasn't sure.

“Of course. Did he say we're both bestie?” Elvira patted his friend's back, bracing.

And the two chatted a little while until the afternoon and Elvira was forced to leave because her mother had called.
