The Forsaken Heart Flakes

The Forsaken Heart Flakes
Chapter 7

The noise of motorized vehicles passing through the streets did not make the heart of a young woman in blue uniform was disturbed. The pain of the treatment of her mother-in-law and husband this morning made Nadira no longer able to stem her tears. It is not shameless that Nadira cries by the roadside as she continues to step up, but she has another task to do in order to change her fate one day. Nadira had to work harder so that she would no longer be underestimated by her husband's family. That determination made the young woman endure the pain in her heart over the treatment of her mother-in-law and husband.

Time goes on, the streets are jammed and the many factory employees make all the angkot cars that Nadira sees are always full so there is no place for him. Nadira continued to step until he did not feel he had walked far enough. However, of course it does not make the distance traveled closer because in fact he still has to walk about one more kilometer to get to his destination immediately.

"Oh my God ..where is still a long way to get to the factory" the woman murmured. Aching feet and forehead that have been flooded by sweat is not felt by Nadira at all. His mind was only fixed on one word 'Don't be late' because if it happened, it didn't rule out the possibility that he would fail to get the job. Nadira was a training employee for three months. After the three months have passed, then the company will set it as a permanent employee.

The woman's footsteps grew longer, the slower it slowed down, the power was drained. His feet were filled with abrasions due to the friction of the shoes he was wearing. Akh, even the shoes did not belong to Nadira, but to his brother-in-law who he borrowed until payday. Danu really doesn't want to work anything for him. To the extent that Nadira had to be willing to withstand the pain and soreness because the shoes he wore were one number smaller than the number he usually wears.

Patience Nadira .. don't give up here. There is still fifteen minutes left before work hours begin, whispered Nadira.

When remembering what Nadira received from the treatment of her family-in-law and husband, the woman's spirit seemed to increase. Yes, she did not want her mother-in-law to treat her and her daughter arbitrarily. Although Nadira is no longer close to his own family, but he also does not want to be hated by the Danu family. That would only add to the list of heartache he felt.

While Nadira was still walking, suddenly from behind came the sound of a motor horn. Nadira who was scared at that time because he thought it was a bad person's motorbike, immediately accelerated his steps. He was reluctant to turn his head and his premonition told him to keep going.

"Nad, wait!"

A voice that was very recognizable by Nadira immediately made the young woman's steps stop. He looked over and saw the person who had just honked for him.

"Sir Raka?" Nadira was quite surprised to see the man still there. Usually he always saw the man come earlier than him because he had to prepare some work for other employees.

"Why are you walking?" raka asked without heeding the expression of Nadira who was shocked because of her greeting. Raka had just realized that around Nadira there was no husband.

"Where's your husband?"

Nadira was confused. His eyeballs glanced to and fro and his fingers interlocked making Raka finally divert the question.

"Eh. That's not necessary, sir. I can walk by myself. After all this is almost there," Nadira refused while shaking her hand in front of her chest. He did it because he felt sad. If only the one who offered the ride was not Raka, of course he would be happy to accept. However, if it is Raka, Nadira must think carefully, lest there will be strange talk from people who see the togetherness of the two of them.

"Don't hesitate, Nad. I just want to help you. I saw you walk alone. Therefore, I think you will need a ride," said Raka again. Actually, Raka had accidentally seen the incident when Nadira was yelled at and forced off the motorcycle by her husband. However, Raka did not immediately approach because she thought the husband of one of her employees would not really leave Nadira by the side of the road. But, it turns out that his guess was wrong. After waiting for a few minutes, Nadira's husband did not appear either.

"I'm .. I'm really okay, sir. Just go first." Again Nadira tried to reject the good intentions of Raka.

"If you don't leave now, you'll be late, Nad. After all ... Aren't you still in training? Do not let you not be accepted for work just because you arrive late, you know!"

Nadira was silent for a moment. What Raka told him was true. He could have failed to get a job just because he arrived late. If it happens, then not only her husband is angry, maybe even her mother-in-law and sister-in-law will also hate her.

"You don't have to worry about the words of people who aren't necessarily, Nad. After all we also accidentally met and I just want to help you alone," said Raka while convincing Nadira not to worry about things that are not necessarily happening.

In a factory environment, anything small can become very sensitive. Let alone to do something bad, we just intend in the heart, may others know and disseminate it. That is what Nadira fears. He did not want to let his good name be smeared just because of an accident.

"Nad, we're almost too late. It's ten minutes left. Are you going to keep walking?" ask Raka for the umpteenth time.

After cradling his bad good, Nadira finally received help from Raka. It was impossible if he had to give up his chance to be able to live independently just because of the talk of others.

Bismillah .. hopefully there is no bad talk from people because I received an offer to leave together from Mr. Raka, Nadira's mind. Finally, he received an offer from his superior to leave together.

"I'm sorry for bothering you before. And ... thanks for the help" said Nadira.

"It's okay. This doesn't always happen every day." Raka gave a spare helmet that he always carried before he finally spurred the pace of his vehicle with a high because he had to pursue a little more time.
