The next day, Nadira started the activity as usual. He would wake up at three in the morning and immediately cook the merchandise he had prepared last night. Although both eyes are still very heavy because they withstand drowsiness, but the young mother of one child is still trying to wake up.
O Lord .. lest I fall asleep, he murmured inwardly.
Sometimes Nadira thinks that his past and present life makes no difference. He only realized that Danu had apparently educated him to be independent in any situation. Evidently, now Nadira has begun to get used to all his solitude. The pain incised by Danu and her family made her heart strong and she constantly demanded that she be better.
Some dishes including his main merchandise, namely nasi uduk and side dishes have been finished cooking when Nadira turned to the clock that shows at half-six. He immediately transported the merchandise to a table in front of the terrace and arranged the trading menu there, while for the food fried, Nadira would cook it outside.
"Assalamualaikum, Nad!" greet a young man who seems to have just returned from the mosque. It was seen because he was still wearing a cocoa shirt and a sarong cloth underneath, not to forget also with a skullcap that was still neatly attached to the man's head.
"Wa'alaikum hail, Ndri. What's up?" nadira asked while lifting her body which had just finished pairing the gas cylinder.
"Have you started selling?" ask Andri basa stale.
"Yes. I just finished with my trade" said Nadira as he pointed at his merchandise.
Andri nodded his head. "Oh. Can I order already?" ask again.
"Please!"
After being invited by Nadira, Andri immediately approached and began to choose the food he wanted while secretly watching Nadira. Although the young mother is currently in a very simple state, it does not reduce the value of her beauty in the eyes of Andri.
Yes, Andri still does not know the status of Nadira explained because Nadira asked Ibu Nurul not to talk about it to anyone. So, the people who were there only knew that Nadira was still a wife.
"Why do you keep looking at me like that?" nadira asked as she felt that the young man before her was watching her movements.
"Huh? Oh, ti–no," answered Andri a little nervous because apparently Nadira realized what he was doing.
"You better keep your eyes on that, Ndri. I don't want Nera and her mom to think that I'm teasing you!" Nadira gave Andri's newly wrapped order and again said, "If you really do not fit your lover, at least talk carefully and never bring another woman's name to be compared with him!"
Andri seemed surprised by Nadira's last words. It was seen when he almost dropped the bag of crackle that Nadira had given him.
"A–what do you mean, Nad?" asked Andri stammeringly. "I don't understand" he continued, throwing his gaze in the other direction.
"Don't pretend memory loss, Ndri. You didn't say anything to me, but because you compared me to Nera, she misunderstood me and thought that you were interested in me. Really, for whatever sake ... I don't want to be hated by anyone," said Nadira at length with eyes that looked seriously Andri.
Meanwhile, Andri also fell silent because what Nadira said was true. He feels unsuitable with Nera and he mistakenly uses Nadira to avoid the girl.
"I'm sorry I brought you into my business. But I also meant it that I was interested in you!"
