The Forsaken Heart Flakes

The Forsaken Heart Flakes
Chapter 89

Nadira was still silent in Raka's arms. What the man did actually made him lose consciousness for a while, before he finally regained his senses and immediately broke free from Raka's embrace.

"Ma–maaf, Sir. Why did you do that?" nadira asked while turning her face the other way. He was completely powerless to look directly at Raka's face.

Unlike the case with Raka who looked disappointed when she saw Nadira who was in a hurry to release her embrace.

"I don't mean anything. I just follow my heart, Nadira," he replied.

"Wants?" repeat Nadira while looking seriously at the man in front of him.

Raka nodded her head. "Yes. I just followed my heart because I was so happy to see you close to me. Is that wrong?"

Nadira did not answer Raka's question. He simply fell silent without taking his eyes off the man, trying to dive into every sentence that came out of Raka's lips.

I don't understand, why did Mr Raka become like this to me? What exactly is he thinking? It's impossible if he likes me, right? nadira wondered.

The woman immediately shook her head and dismissed the thought of Raka possibly liking her.

No. gabe. There's no way Mr. Raka likes me.

Seeing Nadira shaking her head, Raka asked, "What's up, Nadira?"

"Ti–no, nothing," Nadira said immediately.

The two kept quiet for a while. Raka also sat back on the long bench. He also asked Nadira to sit there.

The cool afternoon atmosphere with a gentle breeze made both of them equally soluble in their respective minds. Until Raka turned her head and looked at Nadira who was down beside her.

"Nadira, there's actually something I want to tell you" Raka said slowly. Actually, he wanted to say his feelings directly to the young woman, but seeing Nadira's attitude as if to keep his distance, finally his intention was undo.

"What?" ask Nadira quickly.

Raka took a deep breath and confirmed her sitting position. Now the man had faced Nadira completely.

"Why Ba–"

"Don't call me that call again! Now that I'm not your boss," cut off Raka who had already overheated her ears as Nadira called out to her with the call 'Father'.

"Sorry, M–mas." Nadira feels a little clumsy with her new calling. Really, his tongue felt uneasy as he had to dispel his usual call to Raka.

Raka nodded her head while smiling. "The call can be, too," he said. "Continue!"

"Why does M–mas thank you? And ... what's the reason you're worried about us?" asked Nadira in a stark manner.

"I'm grateful that you and Tiara are in a good state. And .. I'm just worried about you guys for no reason. I felt lost when you suddenly left without saying goodbye" replied Raka.

Hearing Raka's reply, Nadira again turned her face away. Again the man's words made his heart pound uncharacteristically.

No, I beg you not to be like this, the inner Nadira who is trying to neutralize his feelings again. He should not be flattered or overwhelmed by the words of the man before him.

"Nadira, I know .. You may think that my words are nonsense. But, for whatever sake I've never behaved like that to you. Please believe me," said Raka when she saw Nadira who seemed hesitant to respond to her words.

"Thank you for worrying about Aka and Tiara. It touched me a little. Maybe because Mas's attitude and Danu's attitude are much different when you treat us. Sorry, I didn't mean to compare the two's skills, just ...."

"It's okay. You don't need to explain anything because I already understand what you mean" Raka said quickly. He understood Nadira's intentions. So, he doesn't need any more explanation.

"I'm sorry and .. thanks for understanding me."

"No problem. Instead, I really want to be able to understand you better than this."

Raka smiled gently as Nadira looked at her making the young lady's face slightly reddish. However, Nadira immediately threw his gaze in the other direction so that they did not know the color change of his face. The words Raka spoke were simple indeed, but for a woman like Nadira who had been injured, it was quite flattering to her. However, even though he was happy in his heart, there were still deep wounds and they were not easy to heal.

"Please, don't be like that, Mom. I don't feel good enough to be understood by you more deeply. I can still get someone better than me. Someone who has not been mentally handicapped because of a failed marriage."
