Amarta Forest

The sound of moans in pain echoed from a distance, the birds flew away from their perches on the lush trees. The origin of the sound was from the lush depths of the Amarta forest. A giant figure then fell to the earth, the tremors felt up to several kilometers away.

A handsome young man pulled an arrow from the giant head. From his face was a radiant light and a charming smile. He only wears black pants with a rag of blue-golden cloth, the crown on his head indicates that he is no ordinary person.

Moments later two similarly-faced young men appeared from behind the thicket, both holding swords in their right and left hands. They were identical twins, despite having faces that were almost similar to the arrow-clad youth before, but they were both younger. Both wore blood-red cloth draped from shoulder to waist, their pants were brownish with leather shoes, and they also wore a royal crown that was almost similar to the blue-clad youth. 

“Always on target, Kang,” said one of the twins sheathing his sword.

“Dik Dewa, where can anyone beat a shot of Arjuna kangmas in Astina kingdom here?” send another twin to his sister, Sadewa.

“Nakula, Sadeva. Stay alert, this forest is not safe from the attacks of the Giants.” The handsome-looking man named Arjuna squinted his eyes sharply, sweeping across the forest. “Let's help kangmas Bima clear land in the western part of the forest Amarta.”

“A-What Kang? the western part of Amarta? That's right..” Nakula choked did not continue his words.

“Borders with kingdom Pringgandani.” His words were continued by his twin brother, Sadewa.

Nakula and Sadewa who are born twins are often complementary. When Nakula did not know what to say, Sadewa continued. Vice versa. Although different mother with her three brothers, Yudistira, Bima, and Arjuna, but the twins are already considered like siblings themselves by the three sons of Dewi Kunti. The five of them are known as the five Pandavas.

The Kingdom of Astina was originally just a jungle of the deepest part of the Amarta forest. The five Pandava brothers cleared land in the region after being evicted by their brother, Kaurava. After previously they were framed and cheated in gambling games. Then the pandavas were given sleeping pills.

When the Pandavas slept, their palaces were burned to eliminate the Pandavas from the world under the pretext of fire.

But luckily someone saved them, until finally the five Pandavas, Dewi Kunti, and Drupadi, the wife of Yudishthira who was almost stripped naked by Kaurawa in front of the guests when they found out the Pandavas lost. Fortunately, Yudhishthira used his knowledge to make the cloth used by Drupadi inexhaustible. Until the Kaurava surrendered.

Arjuna smiled as he examined some of the arrows he had placed in a sling bag of buffalo leather on his back. “You're scared?”

“Ah no, we are not afraid. Yes, Nakula?”

“I-ya dong's. We where scared the same giant.”

The twins laughed while trying to hide their fear. Of the three brothers, only these two youngest twins whose knowledge is not high. When Yudhishthira, Bima, and Arjuna fought against the invisible jinn when they cleared the land for the kingdom of Astina, only the two of them were confused looking for an opponent because they could not see the enemy.

But slowly, their knowledge increased. That is because their blood flow was opened by Krishna, the king of the kingdom of Dwarawati, as well as Pandavas who were also the incarnation of the god Vishnu.

“GROAAAAAARRRR!!” The sound of a giant roar sounded furious from within the forest accompanied by the sound of a quick loud bang. The lush and dense trees within the forest were torn apart and thrown into the air along with those large footsteps. Nakula and Sadewa immediately jumped into hiding behind Arjuna.

A fat man with disheveled hair ran in fear, two meters behind him a giant figure three times the height of the man chased after him. His face is sagar-looking, with round eyes in red on the part of his eyeballs, large teeth fanged out, and his body naked, only in the part of******* covered with bear skin.

“TOLOOOONG.. TOLOOOONG..” Pekiknya with frightened face.

“Who is that person?” Arjuna stared intently at the running human figure chased by the giant.

“Looks it was a person.”

“But it's weird, Sadewa. Her clothes are not like ours.”

“Already, already. Whether the clothes are the same or not, we have to help him. Nakula, Sadeva. You guys help that guy, I'll distract the giant.” After finishing his words, Arjuna jumped up high like flying. His body very lightly darted between the trees, then the man flew in front of the giant face. With a change of form study, he transformed himself into a man who was being pursued by the giant.

The two twins immediately caught the man who had been chased by a giant, they were a little difficult because the person who would be helped thrashed until finally the man was successfully dropped in a supine state.

Nakula laughs amusedly, “Who wants to eat you who?” 

“Hahaha... Funny also this guy, Nakula.”.

The frightened man fell silent, staring at the two faces before him. The same face as seeing two mirrors.

“Nakula, Sadewa?”

“Actually I am Sadewa, and this is Nakula,” said Sadewa correcting the direction pointed by the strangely dressed man he had just helped.

“Who are you?” connect Nakula.

“I Eagle. Lucky to meet you here.”

The twins stared in confusion, then released their crush which had locked the Eagle's body.

Meanwhile, not far from them. Arjuna who was fishing for a giant took out a golden bow from his left hand, then quickly his right hand grabbed the arrow from the bag attached to his back. In a split second, two arrows shot through the two giant eyeballs.

“GROAAAAAAR..” The sound of a shrill scream of pain rang out breaking the silence of the Amarta forest, followed by the sound of falling bodies pounding the ground around the forest up to several kilometers away.

The handsome-looking man walked up to the Eagle and his two brothers. His eyes could not be seen watching around him, wary of the attacks of other creatures besides wild animals and giants.

There are four types of creatures that exist in this Amarta forest, in addition to wild animals, there are jinn and giants. But even worse than them is the Gandarwa, which is the result of the marriage of the jinn and giants. They are usually more violent and more brutal.

“Who are you? From where?” scowl Arjuna at the Eagle when he reached the place of his two younger siblings and the man who had been chased by the giant.

“I'm an Eagle, I'm not from this moment. But five thousand years time travel after today.”

The three brothers frowned in confusion.

“In short I am from the future.”

Arjuna squinted his eyes, looking deeply into the eyes of the Eagle. Try to see if the man in front of him is honest or not. But he found no sign of lying to the man he had just helped.

“Future?”

“What does the future look like?” so Sadewa continued Nakula's words.

“It should be beautiful and also peaceful. But, everything was destroyed when there were extraterrestrials attacking.”

Arjuna shook his head, trying to digest the words of the Eagle which made no sense. She felt she needed an honesty test.

“Nakula, Sadeva. We're taking this man to Astina. Her honesty test in front of kang Bima.”

“Good, Kangmas!” both are compact.

The eagle was very happy, because the landing was not smooth that managed to bring it to the Pandawa family as expected. When he came, the first thing he saw was a giant. As a result, he was pursued by large-bodied creatures to be used as a meal.
