The Hated Husband
Heartbroken

"Devs."

Mary was sitting in the garden crying. Many people looked towards him.

"Hey, what's the girl? Since the guy's stay the girl was crying." whispered one of the women there

"Maybe the girl is pregnant and the guy doesn't want responsibility." whispered the other woman

Maria left the park immediately. He came home in a taxi, inside he was still crying, lamenting his fate in staying away by the man he loved so much.

Jo's House

Mary arrived at her husband's home. His face was puffy, tears were still running down his cheeks. While the husband quietly waited for his return from the top floor. He could see his wife's facial water that looked not okay.

Maria sits limp on the living room couch and cries. She wanted her husband to embrace her, but it was impossible. He could only see the grief of his wife from afar. At least it was better, than having to accept the scorn and make his wife hate him even more if she tried to get close to him.

"Marya."

Dev's House

Dev went into his room after coming home from the park. He was sitting limp on the side of the bed. He ceaselessly cursed himself. He felt like a fool for having kept his heart for the woman who had betrayed him. Many times she shuffled her hair. Realizing what he had been doing all this time was futile.

I like my brother too. Brother is awesome.

A flash of memory appears in her daydream, when Mary reciprocates her feelings.

Maria, will you wait for me until I get back?

Yes, I will wait for you. But promise me you won't find another woman there.

Then, the shadow when they said each other's promises at the fireworks festival. It was also the first time they kissed.

"Mary, you could have betrayed me." said Dev interrupted his sob "I'm like a fool who has believed and kept my heart for your sake. But what do I get?" Dev shed tears. He then pulled out his phone, staring at a photo of himself with his girlfriend.

"Mary, maybe my heart won't hurt too much if someone else has you. But, why should he? He's like my brother." Dev clasped his phone getting stronger before he threw it against the wall.

Jo's House

When she cries. His eyes could be swollen and now it was late. I'd love to grab it. Dev, how lucky you are to get love from him. And I've ruined your relationship. I've been making mistakes all this time. I was wrong to love my wife. Maria, I hope someday you can accept me. I will wait until that day comes.

After a long time Maria cried, she finally laid her body on the sofa. His eyelids are heavy. He finally fell asleep. Jo, who saw her from upstairs, immediately entered her room, picked up a blanket and walked down the stairs closer to the living room.

He stepped his feet slowly, afraid that his wife would wake up. He carefully covers his wife. Then he sat himself on the floor, looking closely at the face of his wife who had fallen asleep.

"It is very much love for you Maria. I'm sorry, because of me, this is all happening. If I could control myself back then, you wouldn't be suffering like now." Jo stared fixedly at Maria's face, then kissed the top of her head lovingly.

"Good sleep my wife."

The next Morning

Slowly Mary opened her eyes. Still felt her heavy and sore eyelids from crying all night. He was a little surprised when as soon as he woke up he saw a blanket wrapped around his body.

The husband was walking down the stairs. It's neat in his suit, ready to go to the office. His steps stopped as Maria looked at him. But then it passed soon.

Today and beyond there is no dining together at the dinner table. They are like strangers and keep their distance from each other.

"Today you look lethargic." said Ramon

Jo was silent for a moment "Let's go."

"Ok." replied Ramon and got into the car

In the living room, Maria finally got off the sofa. He went into his room, immediately he took a shower, after he finished wearing a casual dress and jeans. That was his style before he got married.

He packed his clothes and put them in a suitcase. Maria left just like that even though there was a security guard staring at her.

Dev's House

Dev is still leaning on the back of his bed. Then grab the phone on the nightstand.

"Hallo. I didn't go to the office today. Assign me to a meeting today. Thank you." Thank you."

He just called the deputy director to take his place. Dev's current condition is also not good. His mind was muddled, after what he heard from his lover's lips.

"Marya."

Mary's House

Mary arrived in front of her parents' house. It looks like the mother is watering plants in the yard of the house. He then walked closer.

"Mother." call her soft

"Mary." the mother was shocked when she saw him carrying a suitcase.

"Mother, please let me stay here. I no longer want to live with him. I want to part from her" Maria said slowly

Maria needs a warm embrace from her mother. He wanted to pour out all the heart that he had been craving.

Plaque!!

It was precisely a slap that landed on his cheek.

"You really have no feelings. Your husband loves you very much, but." Angered the mother while pointing at Maria

"Mother.." Maria reflexively touched her cheek to the left, tears welling up.

"Mom no longer knows how to. Can't you give your husband a chance. Can't you see the sincerity of his heart. Maria, think carefully before you regret it one day."

"Mother slapped me. My whole life I've never hit me no matter what I've done wrong. I came here because I wanted to pour out my heart. I don't know who to tell. But it turns out mom hates me. All right, I'm sorry. I can't follow my mother's wishes anymore. I'm sorry that I've been a bad boy. I'm gonna go."

After saying that, Maria left her parents' house. Moments later, when her mother woke up, she saw her palm.

"What have I done?" mumbling mother Maria

He immediately averted his eyes, but Mary had already disappeared.

Elsewhere Maria walks while dragging her suitcase. Then he sat himself on the side of the road and he was not constantly crying.

Where am I supposed to go? Everybody hates me. I'm alone.
