The Hidden Feelings

"Then you're alone, what made you fall in love with me? It's not like you were so angry with me. At school, you always dodged me when I was looking for Dev." asked Maria without looking at her husband

"Yes, I didn't like you. But after we got married, I slowly started to like you. Maria, can't we start over?" Jo looked at Maria

The question shocked Maria and then looked back at her husband. Her heart rippled, looking at the face of her husband who seemed to be begging to accept it.

Gosh darn.. His face is very close. Looks like I'm gonna faint.

"I. I.."

Tong Ting

Suddenly Jo's face changed and then grunted.

"Who the hell? just interrupt." Jo muttered inwardly as she looked towards the door of the room

"Mary, I'm out first." Jo got out of bed

When walking down the stairs, an annoyed look was still visible from his face. When opening the door ..

"Sister Alvin?" Jo is shocked to find Alvin with his girlfriend

"We came to see your wife. I also invited Luna, so that they could chat and get to know her more closely."

If there wasn't Luna, Jo would've gone crazy on Alvin. He just regretted his mistake now, why last night he had to confide and ask for a solution to him. Unexpectedly, Alvin himself messed up his plans.

"So your wife's home, right?" asked Alvin who was still standing at the door

"Here, now he's resting in the room. Come on, come on in." Jo drove them to his room

"Good afternoon Maria." said Alvin and Luna together

"Sore is also Alvin's sister, Luna's sister. I didn't expect you guys to come see me." said Maria

"How are you Maria? Is it okay?" asked Luna who was already sitting on the edge of the bed beside Maria

"Already brother. Just my body still has a fever from last night's rain."

In the middle of the conversation, Jo looks very upset. He looked at Alvin and asked him to speak outside the room.

"Kill what? I just told him how I felt."

"What?"

"Maria hasn't had a chance to answer, and then suddenly sister presses the bell."

Alvin chuckled softly.

"Sorry-sorry. I didn't know I was coming at the wrong time. Yes, I'll take Luna home and please continue that."

"So easy, brother said that. It feels ridiculous that I continue. I need to find the right time to ask him for an answer." Jo clucked in annoyance

"Yes yes. Again I'm sorry." Alvin apologized with a slight hold of laughter

After a long time, Alvin and Luna went home. Jo went back into the room after driving them to the door.

"You rest Mary. I'm going to the study. If you need anything, just call me."

Maria simply nodded, the atmosphere felt awkward after their moment that was delayed a moment ago. Maria let out a strong sigh after her husband came out and closed the door.

"Oh my God, it's a good thing there's Alvin. I don't know what it was like if there weren't any of them. I'm really confused what to answer." Mary muttered to herself, as if her brain had stopped working remembering when her husband asked her with his face so close.

Day Night..

Jo threw her body on the sofa beside the bed. But before he glanced at his wife who was asleep.

In about 15 minutes, Jo finally fell asleep. Maria opened her eyes and got up to the sofa. She looked at her husband fixedly, her hands outstretched rubbing her husband's jet mane.

"That's so sorry you Jo. You're carrying your burden alone." Maria started sobbing "When you need a place to lean, I just left you and was with another man. And today, you asked me to come back. I feel bad to be back with you. You're too perfect for a lowly woman like me. If I hadn't been carrying your child, I would have gone all the way out of your life. So you can get a better woman than me." Mary stopped her speech for a moment

"Good sleep, my husband. Have a good dream." Maria kissed her husband's head and then returned to the bed. Without realizing it, her husband was still awake and hearing all her words.
