The Hated Husband

The Hated Husband
Guilt

The flashback

Mary faced the large glass door that was still covered in black curtains. Mary pulled out the black curtains that covered the glass door. The view of the capital during the day in summer is so beautiful from a height.

Maria stared in amazement at the scene before her at this moment. He glued his palm to the clear glass before him, as if he were touching the capital with his tapered hands and fingers.

"It's so beautiful." murmured Maria kept staring in awe at the scene in front of her.

Marco opened the door and stepped onto the balcony of his apartment. Inhaling as much air as possible and exhaling slowly while staring at the capital from up there. Maria took her foot off the balcony of Marco's apartment. Standing beside Marco while enjoying the wind and the scenery that still continues to amaze him.

"How's it?" Marco asked a glance at Maria who was now beside him

"What?" Maria asked Marco

"Is this place suitable for refreshing your brain?"

"Suitable, it fits. I feel like I can grasp the capital from up here." Maria said as she stuck out her hand and clasped the shadow of the capital in her hand

"Are you happy?" Ask Marco again

"of course. This is the first time I've seen the capital from a height." Mary answered with a smile

Flashback off

Marco was pensive to see the beauty of the capital at night through the glass of his apartment while eating hotdogs and accompanied by a cup of coffee. Suddenly it flashed in his memory the face of his little friend, who had been staying with him two months ago.

"I haven't seen Maria in a long time. What's he doing?"

The following afternoon...

Marco came to Maria's contract. He knocked on the door many times but there was no answer.

"Mary!"

Tok Tok Tok Tok Tok Tok Tok

"Who are you looking for?" Suddenly a middle-aged woman who owned a contract approached Marco from behind him

"Sorry madam, I'm looking for my friend. He lives here."

"Oh.. lady who rented this contract? He's moved on."

"What! Moving out?"

"Yes, it's been from last night."

"So the lady knows where my friend moved?"

"If it's that I don't know."

"Then thank you for the information madam."

The woman also left. Marco breathed a rough sigh. "Where else are you Maria?"

Marco went back into the car, which he had in mind at this time was the home of Mary's parents. He went there too. Arriving at the house of the family of Mary, he was quite surprised to find a man sitting in the living room, talking to Mary's mother.

"Aunty?"

"Well, Marco?"

Maria's mother immediately stood up from her seat to Marco and pulled her hand towards the terrace.

"What the hell is tan?" Marco asked confusedly

"Why did you come here? What's the need?"

"I'm, looking for Maria."

"Mary has long since left this house."

"What! But why?" Marco pretended to be shocked and knew nothing

If he's not home then where is the kid?

"Tante wants to say something."

"What is tan?"

"Mary, she's married."

"What! Aunt seriously?" Marco gasped

Maria's mother nodded.

"A fast tan, isn't he still wanting to go to college and make his dreams come true?"

"long story. And you know, the man inside was Maria's husband."

Sontak Marco glares.

"Here it is, we better just talk inside. Auntie believes you can keep a secret. If the neighbors ask, the aunt tells them it's aunt's niece."

Maria's mother asked Marco to come in, and he finally served her a snack and two cups of tea to her daughter-in-law and little friend whom she considered to be her own niece.

"Please drink it, and eat the snack while chatting." Maria's mother smiled then passed leaving the two men in the living room

Marco sat opposite Jo, his eyes full of probing staring at Jo from toe to head.

I noticed, there was no shortage. Absolutely perfect. What made Mary leave her?

"So, you're Maria's husband?" Marco asked to start a conversation

"Yes" replied Jo coldly

"Include me, I'm Marco."

"Jonathan." said flatly

"How long have you been married?"

"Three months."

"Then what made Maria leave you?"

Jo looked at Marco with a cold face without answering his question.

"Come on, just tell me. We are fellow brothers. You don't have to be shaken."

"...."

"Mary and I have been friends since childhood. We used to go to the same school, and the same school. But stepping on High School, our relationship became tenuous. I've rarely met him because we're not in High School. And Mary is like my brother."

"All right, I'll tell you everything."

Suddenly Marco smiled. He feels relieved.

"Mary left me because..."

Marco looked forward to Jo's next remark in curiosity. Jo seems hesitant to tell it. He looks agitated and sad.

"I have, forcibly, taken his crown."

"Isn't that normal? You're husband and wife, aren't you?"

"The thing is, Mary doesn't love me. He had a girlfriend before he married me. We got married because we got married and we couldn't resist. Day after day I went with her, I slowly laid my heart on her. I was so jealous to see her kissing another man, who was none other than her boyfriend. Then, at night on her birthday, I forcibly snatched her away. Then it came in my feelings to hurt her. I was glad to see him suffer, I was content to see him tormented. He kept saying my name and begging for my forgiveness. But after that I regret it. Very." Very." Jo explained the long barrage about the night with his wife until he finally let out a tired sigh

"Yes, I get it. Which woman is not hurt if treated that harshly. But in this case Mary is also guilty." Marco said

"As much as I can try to control myself, I don't want him to go any further if I make a mistake again. That's why I've been patient until now."

"You don't keep blaming yourself. Think of a way to get Maria back. I just got out of her contract, but Maria's gone."

"Mary go! Where is he now?" Jo started to panic

"I've called him many times from last night, but his phone is off" Marco replied

Slowly Jo's panic subsided. He grabbed a cell phone from his pants pocket, then called someone.

"Hallo, where are you?"

"I'm at home brother. Indeed why?"

"Can we meet tonight?'

"What could there be, brother?"

"Something I want to ask."

"okay."

Jo turned off the phone.

"Who did you call?" ask Marco

"Friends of Mary."

"Thank God, at least someone can tell us about the boy. Two months ago Maria stayed with me. He stayed in my apartment for a week. I hope he doesn't go far this time."

"Thank you." said Jo

"Well, what for?" ask Marco

"You've taken care of Maria" Jo replied

"You don't have to thank me. Mary is like my brother." said Marco before sipping his warm tea

Her night...

Jo was sitting in the cafe chair long enough, until someone who was waiting came.

"I'm sorry, did you wait a long time?" Sasha walked over to Jo

"No." Jo replies in the follow-up with Sasha sitting in front of him

"What do you want to ask?"

"Is Maria here?"

"She said she couldn't come today. I don't know why either."

Hearing Sasha's reply made Jo limp in frustration. Though the girl is his only hope to find the whereabouts of his wife.

"Mary just left. Now I don't know where she is" said Jo in despair

"What!"

"I thought you might be able to help me."

"Sorry sister, I didn't even know that Maria had left her contract. Moreover, yesterday we had a fight." Sasha looked down lethargic

"What happened?"

As Sasha was about to reply, suddenly Jo's phone shook. He widened after reading the contents of the incoming chat.

"You're looking for your wife, aren't you? He's in my house now. If you want to see him, come here :)"

Jo's hand trembled, her anger instantly mounting. If there was no Sasha sitting in front of him right now, he would have kicked the table.

"Sister, what's wrong with you?"

Jo stands. "Sasha, thanks for the time." Jo leaves leaving him with a fury overflowing.

He quickly headed to the parking lot, got into his car and drove his vehicle to his best friend's house. But does he deserve to be called a friend?

"Dev.. do you want to play with fire?"

Jo murmured while driving and drove his car at high speed. Arriving at Dev's house, he wanted to smash the door. But his common sense was still running, he still used his manners to press the bell beside the door but constantly.

"Dev, who is it?" ask Mary who is lying on the bed

"Let me see. Just a minute."

The doorbell kept ringing, Dev who noticed Jo's presence immediately descended from the second floor then opened the door.

"Well, you really came?" Dev smiled looking at Jo who was looking at him sharply

"Where is my wife, b*ngsat!"

Dev chuckles.

"You mean, my boyfriend? He's sleeping."

"DEEVVV!!! mary shouted from upstairs

"Well, did you hear? He called. My boyfriend must be cold. AYE!! ONE BABY!!"

Jo was so surprised, he did not expect that his wife could make it this far. He was glued until Dev smiled and closed the door.
