"Joe. Come to my company party tomorrow. But don't you, your wife.."

"I'll come. There's Agnez by my side."

"Agnez?"

"He's a close friend of mine. But I won't come if you invite Dev."

The company's birthday party arrived, many SJ Company employees who came with the maximum appearance possible. Alvin is no exception as the leader of the company. Alvin chatted with some of his co-workers who also came as an invitation, with Luna as his companion.

When all was engrossed in their groups, suddenly there was a furore around the entrance. All the eyes there make couples who walk leisurely but still elegant, become the center of their attention. Agnez walked around in Jo's arms, walking gracefully with a slight faint smile.

In accordance with his promise, Jo came with Agnez to the SJ Company's birthday party. In the eyes of everyone there, Jo and Agnez are a very compatible couple. Within 10 minutes of their arrival, Dev and Maria were also present at the event .

Suddenly the mood became awkward. The four sets of eyes they looked at each other. Jo is surprised to find his wife who is also present with his best friend. And vice versa, for some reason arises in Mary the feeling of not liking to see Agnez beside her husband.

"I'm so glad you all came." said Alvin to melt the atmosphere

"Curtain! What the fuck. She said she wouldn't invite Dev, would she." Jo's inner heart was upset

"Bro, you already have a boyfriend? Congratulations." said Dev to Jo with a cynical smile

While Jo is with Agnez, just speechless looking at Dev and Maria.

"You see, honey, your husband has forgotten you. I thought he was going to fight for you, but it turns out I was wrong." Dev said with a sharp look

Jo, who had been silent earlier, finally replied with a confident smile.

"Yes, that's right. I think that woman must be very stupid for rejecting a man as perfect as you Jo." Agnez replied while looking at Maria cynically

The feelings within Mary were turbulent. His throat was choked, as much as possible he held back tears from falling. It would be a shame if she cried in front of all of them.

"Goodoo. If you're conscious. Mary was only mine. And you know that too. But you're the one who stabbed in the back."

Dev's words really set Jo back on fire.

"Dev, I'm thirsty. Let's go there." Maria takes Dev to another place by looking at the table lined with drinks

They leave Jo and Agnez.

"So that's your wife? Are you still jealous to see them?"

"Which husband is not jealous to see his wife with another man. And why does Alvin lie? He said Dev wasn't coming. Haish." jo muttered annoyed

After the party, Dev escorts Maria into the room.

"Are you tired?" dev asked while holding Maria's shoulder

"Yes" answered Mary

"Then rest. Good night Maria."

"Good night too Dev."

Dev kisses the top of Maria's head before exiting and closing the door.
