The Campus

Maria is sitting on the campus courtyard with her best friend. Judging from Maria's face, Sasha knew for sure this friend of hers was sad.

"Mary, is your problem solved?" sasha started a conversation

"You could say yes, you could say no" Maria replied with a wry smile

"Have you told your husband?"

Maria looked down lethargic.

"Marya?"

"I'm confused where to tell the story first. The story is complicated."

"News slowly. I will always listen to you."

"It turns out Dev's been pretending he still wants me Sasha. He tried to unite me with my husband. I was confused by his way of thinking. For the second time he tested me."

Sasha was surprised and silent for a moment.

"Then about your pregnancy?"

"After I got home from your house yesterday, I almost swallowed a gynecologist's medicine. But Dev managed to prevent me."

Sasha's reflexes bulged.

"Huh? You want to abort your fetus!"

"Sasha, don't be so hard."

"sorry. I'm shocked. How can you do that Maria?"

Maria looked down and cried.

"I know what I did was not right. I was confused as to how, as I learned of my pregnancy, at that very moment my husband was suing for divorce."

"What's? Jo's sister wants to divorce you?"

"Yes. She finally found out I was pregnant. After our son was born, we split up." Maria paused her speech for a moment

"Sasha, it wasn't parting with my husband that made me sad. But the fate of this child."

"Nobody knew I was married. Mom told everyone that I was sitting near campus because it was a long way from home. Can you imagine if I went home to my parents? I came home with a baby while I had no husband. Everyone will think I'm pregnant out of wedlock." Mary's cry was getting louder

Sasha who listened also felt Maria's sadness without being able to provide any solution.

"At 20 years old I've been a widow." Maria is getting sobbing

"Patience to Mary" said Sasha, rubbing Maria's back

"Sasha, I've been stupid all along. I wasted my husband. Apparently, she was my first love."

Again, Sasha glared.

"What do you mean?"

"Ultimately, when I was in high school. There was a student I admired a lot. Because of her melodious voice and beautiful way of playing her musical instruments. I was so impressed with him. To the point that I peeked at him a lot when he spent time in the music room. You know who he is? He's my husband." Mary smiled with tears

Sasha was speechless. He was very impressed with all the explanations of his best friend's story.

"He is a person I admire very much and a person I hate very much. How stupid of me." Mary continues to curse herself

While Sasha, she recalled the words that her best friend had said.

"I'm so sorry Sasha, I'm so sorry." Maria is back

Sasha could only be a listener and rubbed Maria's back, she did not know what solution to give.

"What can do for Maria, this is already a risk for you. If you hadn't betrayed your husband, none of this would have happened." said Sasha lirih

"Ugh.." Mary held her stomach

"You why?" sasha started to panic

"Sasha, my stomach hurts."

"Let's go to the doctor."

Sasha drove Maria to the nearest hospital.

"Miss Mary, your gestational age is only three months old. I recommend not to think too much, because the condition of your womb is weak" said the obstetrician

"Okay doctor, I'll remember your advice."

"Maria, did you hear the doctor? You mustn't be stressed." said Sasha as she walked down the aisle of the hospital

"Yes Sasha. It seems I have to put off thinking about the matter ahead. I don't want to lose my son. Because this kid is the result of my relationship with Jo. At least after we parted, I had the fruit of love from her." Maria smiled

"Thank God. You're back excited. Then don't you want to tell Brother Jo about your gynecological condition?"

"No Sasha. I don't want to burden him. I've had enough to make it burdened all this time. I don't want to add to the burden of his mind anymore."

The Restaurant

Seen, Jo is enjoying lunch with Agnez at the restaurant.

"Hows it? Did you hand over the divorce papers to your wife?" ask Agnez

"It is, but we postpone it first. Because my wife is back with me."

"What's? But why?" agnez asked disappointed

"Because of her.." Jo did not continue after his phone rang

"Awhile yeah. I'll take the phone first." Jo stood up to answer the call "Yes, I'll be there soon."

Beep

"Sorry Agnez. I have to get back to the office."

The originally pouting Agnez smiled back after Jo looked at him.

"Yes, no problem. We can meet again next time." replied Agnez with a sweet smile

"Yes already. I'm going first yeah."

Jo hurried away leaving Agnez there. Moments after he left, Agnez kicked the table in annoyance.

"Damn! Why his wife should come back. They are a little bit apart."
