Eps.11: One More Time

A while ago..

The noise filled the floor of Alderick and Daniah's apartment. Already several times they had quarreled without peace, thus making the room become rowdy. If only the items in the apartment were alive, they would have been running away from the noise. And so did the two people who fought.

"I don't want to break up! No one can end this relationship. Show that Al loves Nia!" daniah's assertive who rejects Alderick's wishes.

"Well remember your words, hm?" reply Alderick.

Daniah was silent for a moment because he was the first to provoke a commotion by saying words that hurt Alderick. However, he also felt very upset by Alderick's treatment of him.

"I don't remember and I'm not ashamed!" said Daniah arrogantly.

"It's free to show anything if you don't believe. It's better to be recycled than stale" Alderick half-jokingly said.

"What do you want to recycle? Nia's brain couldn't understand. Besides, it's just like bragging" Daniah said.

"If you don't believe, it's your right" Alderick said.

Daniah is sad. He was worried for fear that everything Alderick said was just to make him happy. She's been scared all this time that Alderick pretended to love her.

"I'm afraid that love is only in me while Al isn't. I don't want to be promised just out of pity, not out of true love and affection" Daniah complained.

Alderick was silent. He let out a long sigh after hearing the expression of his lover. He is very frustrated to face Daniah who always does not believe in his love. He's very tired.

"Al, why are you quiet?" ask Daniah plain.

"Don't you say that in a relationship there has to be trust? So, what about you who always doubted me?" ask Alderick, make Daniah speechless.

"You chose not to believe me. Don't make it look like I'm the guilty one" Alderick continued.

"It was all because Al was too indifferent to Nia. It hurts so much when we are forgotten by the people we love" Daniah said.

"Originally Al knows, being forgotten hurts so much more than being cheated on!" keep Daniah.

Alderick was shocked to hear Daniah's statement. At that moment, he was afraid that maybe Daniah already knew about the whereabouts of Maretta. He glanced at Daniah who looked sad and full of emotions.

"I was wrong. I'm sorry" Alderick said.

"I'm not indifferent. It's just that, sometimes I get tired of work so I don't have the energy to pay attention to you anymore. Don't think it's intentional" Alderick said.

"Yes, Nia understands" Daniah replied.

"In that case, I'll let you go to work for a while. Not for long, there were only a few problems in the office" Alderick added.

After that day, Alderick disappeared again for the umpteenth time. The time he said not long turned out to spend two seasons, thus making Daniah's feelings empty. Daniah is already feeling hopeless with her feelings and is preparing to end this relationship. After six months ago he said he did not want to part with Alderick, now he can strengthen his heart to say that he is ready to part if there is a time to come.

Just waiting for the right moment, Al.

Daniah just arrived at her apartment after a long day of work. He felt tired after a monotonous day. "One more day is almost over" he said as he was in the elevator leading to his apartment room.

After a few seconds in the elevator, she arrived at the floor of her apartment. He walked lethargicly towards that place. All he thought about now was a mattress so that he could lie down after a whole day just being able to sit on a chair.

The door of his apartment opened, and Daniah immediately went inside. The room is the main destination. He threw his bag anywhere and opened his jacket, leaving only his knee-length shirt and skirt. Daniah jumped straight into the bed.

"It's very safe" he said as he thrust his face into the pillow.

Daniah's eyes started to shut. He had entered his dream when he did not realize that the door of his room was not tightly closed. There was someone standing at the door, staring at him who was lying limp.

Daniah's eyes opened slightly as she stared at the figure in front of the door. He jumped out of his bed when all his consciousness returned. Now he's standing next to the bed.

Deg.

His heart was pounding as he looked at Alderick's figure leaning against the door frame. The man looked at her coldly. "Just got home from work?" ask Alderick as he approaches Daniah.

"God.. You startled me" said Daniah.

Alderick sits on the side of the bed near Daniah. "Sorry to keep you waiting" Alderick said, rubbing Daniah's face.

He sat down next to Alderick. "I don't think you're coming back" he said, kissing Alderick's cheek. "Welcome back, Al."

"thank you. Don't think too much" Alderick said, rubbing Daniah's hair.

"I don't have any thoughts" Daniah replied casually.

"Then, we'll just skip it" Alderick said.

Daniah turned her face away. The feeling has already appeared. Alderick realized that and immediately hugged her. He kissed Daniah's head.

However, Alderick certainly never think positively when with Daniah. Negative thoughts always arise when he is close to the girl. "Why are you still waiting?" ask Alderick while rubbing Daniah's head.

"If not told?"

"I'm still waiting."

"No need to wait, I'm not good for you" Alderick said.

Instantly Daniah releases Alderick's embrace. He was surprised to hear that statement from Alderick. "Why do you say that, Al?"

"I'm not good for you. I left without thinking about your feelings and returned at will," Alderick explained.

Daniah was very frustrated to see Alderick's attitude. He was furious when he heard Alderick's words. However, he tried to remain calm for the time being.

"It's important that Nia accepts Al for what it is, right? Nia still loves Al, right? That's enough for Nia."

Alderick didn't expect those words to come out of Daniah's mouth. He also did not expect the girl to be this strong. Or maybe Daniah was just pretending?

"Not tired? Didn't you ever say you were tired. I don't want you to be tired of this relationship."

"Nia's not tired. Is Al bored with Nia?" Shoot Daniah who's getting suspicious.

"No," Alderick said coldly.

"Why ask that?"

"sorry. Just skip it."

Daniah smiled and said, "Al've come back I'm grateful."

Alderick who saw this kind of patient attitude Daniah felt very astonished. It is not unusual for Daniah to face serious words from Alderick. What's actually going on?

"But Al-"

Daniah hung his words. And it made Al interested in listening.

"If I ask to break up how?" keep Daniah.

Al was not at all surprised by Daniah's statement but he felt sad. But Alderick is still Alderick he's not going to lower his ego.

"As far as you. If you want to break up, it's now."

Daniah paused for a moment trying to muster up the courage to express those words. When he was calm, he said it.

"Yes, I want us to just break up."

After hearing that sentence Alderick instantly shifted his gaze. It turned out that the thing he wanted would be granted by Daniah. However, his heart felt extremely ill when he heard Daniah reveal that. And he didn't feel ready to lose his girl.

Alderick got up from his position and looked sharply at Daniah.

"Don't ever think that I want to part with you. But if you want it, I will do it."

Alderick walked straight to the door of the room with emotion on his chest. He is angry at himself who ultimately cannot be responsible for his girl. All he can do is make Daniah feel sick to feel tired and finally give up.

"What kind of man are you?" Thought Alderick.

Daniah was chasing Alderick's steps. He did not want Alderick to misunderstand his decision.

"I just want you to be happy. You know that I really like Al?" daniah said as he grabbed Alderick's hand.

Alderick immediately threw out Daniah's hand. What kind of reason is that? Make me happy? It should have been, but that's not what Alderick expects from Daniah.

"Haha... Funny." Funny." Sarcas laugh. "If you want us to break up, we've broken up. Not much of a reason." Alderick.

Alderick's highly altered tone made Daniah realize that Alderick was very angry. Daniah could only be speechless not wanting to make Alderick even more emotional.

"If you still want to be with me don't be like this. Don't make that an excuse." Alderick.

"Of course Nia still wants to be with Al. But Nia was afraid that it would be a burden." Daniah said sadly.

Alderick cupped Daniah's cheek and looked her in the eye.

"You're not a burden, honey. I should've apologized for not making you happy." Alderick said so soft that it made Daniah feel moved.

"Let's just forget what happened and start a new chapter. We start all over again, okay."

Daniah smiled and nodded. He didn't expect Alderick to be this warm again.

"Thank you, dear." Alderick hugged Daniah to make them feel warm and loved again.
