Eps.17: Something Awkward

Daniah ran towards the campus yard which was still crowded at dusk. The black car that Daniah knew as Alderick's car had been parked on one side of the road. He immediately entered the car with curiosity.

Daniah looked at Alderick's tense face in the car. Daniah immediately went in to find out what really happened.

"Hi, Al! How are you?" Say hello to Daniah when he gets in the car.

Instead of answering Alderick instead asked Daniah's phone. "Where's your phone?" Alderick asked as he reached out.

Daniah who was confused did not want to immediately pull out his phone. He needs an explanation at Alderick's request now.

"What's the matter, Al? Why do you look so emotional?" Tanya Daniah demanded an explanation.

"You have a clone account, right?" Accuse Alderick directly.

Daniah was both surprised and confused. Why Alderick suddenly asked about multiple accounts.

"What the hell are you?"

"Honest."

"I don't have it, Al. My account is one. You suspect I'm cheating?" Terkah Daniah's.

Alderick turned his eyes and simply fell silent.

"You have to trust me, Al. You can ask me anything right now."

"Who am I? Why survive when I hurt you? Besides me who do you have?" Ask Al with a few questions.

Daniah heard a childish question from Alderick. He took a deep breath and threw it away slowly.

"OK, I will answer honestly," said Daniah as he raised his hand. "You weren't the first but now I only have you. And why do I still survive because I love you so much. I'm sure only you can make me happy because I know you love me so much. Continue to question three I have no one but you." Daniah is at length.

"Whose first?" Ask Alderick who is still dissatisfied with Daniah's answer.

"The first one was Razka."

"Razka doang's?"

"Ga. I've been dating Devano and your new Jaxxon." Daniah began to get upset.

Alderick smiled faintly but that could not be seen by Daniah. The man felt uneasy because his suspicions were not entirely true. He's grateful that the person who contacted him last night wasn't Daniah.

"What do you want to tell me about?" Said Alderick who made Daniah interested.

Daniah looked up and prepared to ask her questions. "Why did you break up with Alana?"

Alderick started the engine and started driving. Daniah is still waiting for an answer from her lover. After the car was stable, he started to open his voice.

"Alana's too good for me that bastard."

"Any bastard?"

"Yes. And may you not regret knowing me."

Daniah smiled, "I never regretted it. Even if you're bad at least you know how to love people." Daniah.

Alderick smiled, "Thank you for the compliment, honey."

"That's a fact I told you about my boyfriend."

"But I take that as a compliment."

"So, don't humble yourself into thinking you're a bastard, honey. I have you and you only have me." Daniah encouraged Al.

"Dear, you only have me" said Al with a smile on his lips.

The trip to the house was noticeably shorter as he did when Al drove Daniah to the office that morning. Along the way Daniah and Alderick are busy chatting either about their daily lives during their split or what interesting things they find. Even when they got home, they were still chatting late at night.

The next morning Alderick helps Daniah to make breakfast. Together they make a portion of spaghetti which is a favorite of Daniah. While cutting materials, Daniah was busy chattering about her best friend Rachel who likes to connect with people's girlfriends or even people's husbands.

"But he said that relating to others is better. How's Al?" Tanya Daniah asked Al for his opinion.

"It could be," Daniah said in agreement with Alderick's answer. "Eh, but Rachel was scared, same Al." Daniah said with a laugh. "Say Al is creepy." he continued.

"I'm more afraid of him. He is chatty and can make you smile more. You'll be taken by Rachel."

Daniah laughed out loud. "That's it, Al. You're tsundere, anyway."

"Hm," murmured Alderick.

"Eh, I want nanya. Why are you tsundere?" Ask Daniah prnasaran.

"Destiny is possible."

"The destiny is not exciting ah. Al tsundere to me." Daniah is upset.

Alderick was also chuckling. "Haha.. Gapapas. Not to you doang."

"So what's different about me than the others?"

"I don't know why it's the same way you are. I used to be serious about you. Rich Alana maybe you don't remember me anymore. Or maybe you're not waiting for me." Al is clearly not understood by Daniah.

"What in Al's eyes is this?"

"You are special. There's no reason to admit you to my life."

Daniah smiled deeply.

"Do you remember the first time we met?" Ask Al.

"I don't remember the exact date. But it's March 2021." Answer Daniah.

Alderick was silent for a moment. "I only remember the 24th."

"That means March 24th. How can you remember?" Daniah was amazed by Alderick's memory.

Alderick laughed too. "You're funny. That was my date of birth I certainly always remember."

"Bahh.. Really? What month?"

"November."

The conversation continues until breakfast is ready. Daniah and Alderick had breakfast soon after the meal was arranged on the table.

After the breakfast was over, Daniah immediately got ready to go to work. Daniah also approached Al who was seen busy with his cellphone.

"Al I went to work, yeah."

Alderick turned to look at Daniah. "What time's it?"

"Maybe it's a bit of a night out, because there's a manager I didn't invite members to dinner." Clearly Daniah.

"Hm, if that's my permission to nemenin queen yes." Alderick.

Daniah was silent for a moment. "Whose queen?"

"Sad."

"That's.. Can't do. Al temenin Daniah." Reveal Daniah in a clear tone.

"You're busy with the office people."

"Ga. Anyway wait for me to get home. Daniah leaves first, bye~"

Daniah ran to the door and immediately went to the office because he felt he would be late this time.

All day in the office Daniah's feelings are haunting by Alderick's words about the Queen. For a moment Daniah just thought it was a joke from Alderick because upset Daniah will come home late. But from the look on his face the man looked serious.

Daniah became unfocused working until several times making mistakes while working. He tried to contact Alderick at lunch but the man's phone was off. Daniah also tried calling the apartment but was not picked up. Daniah was worried and wanted to go home soon. But he also could not refuse his boss's request not to attend the dinner.
