Eps.16: Unfounded Suspicion

As he has done so many times lately, Daniah only arrived at 9pm on the weekend. The girl entered her apartment which already looked cleaner and tidier than when she left the house this morning.

Alderick, the man was tidying the dining table when Daniah found him in the kitchen. As expected, he had just finished dinner.

"Loh, Al just finished dinner? How slow?" Ask Daniah while sitting on one of the dining table chairs.

"Father," replied Alderick coldly.

Daniah knew that her lover must be angry because he came home very slowly this time.

"I'm sorry I came home late. You see, there was someone who made dinner at his house so go there first the same office person." Daniah explained.

"That's your excuse" Alderick said expressionlessly.

"Yes, that's it. That's why I'm clear."

"Haha.. Sure?" Alderick asked with a sarcastic laugh.

"Seriously, Al. If you don't believe me, ask Rachel. I had the same time he had dinner at my office friend's house." Bela Daniah on Alderick's suspicions.

"Should there be an event every weekend?" Alderick.

"That's a coincidence Al, he's not on the show. It's not always, though." Daniah began to get carried away by emotions.

"Hm" murmured Alderick in disbelief.

Daniah never thought Alderick doubted him. In his own heart there was only the name of the man. How could the man doubt?

Daniah grabbed both of the man's arms. Forced Alderick to look at him until they looked up. Alderick looked at Daniah with a sad look. I don't know what was attacking the man's mind but he seemed to be in a frenzy.

"Al dear isn't the same, Nia?" ask Daniah reassuringly.

"You already know the answer" replied Al.

"You're really upset, so you want to make trouble let us fight?" continued Daniah.

"Ga."

"You know not with you acting like this I love you more and can not be far from you," said Daniah while staring at the light brown Al nanar.

"Ga is clear" said Al, turning his eyes.

"Tsundere hu.." Cibir Daniah while releasing his grip on Alderick's arm.

They were silent for a while too. Daniah ran out of topics and so did Alderick. However, after being silent for almost 30 seconds Alderick was back to sound.

"Yes, would you?" Ask Alderick.

"You what?" Daniah asked confused.

"Married."

"Huh?"

Instantly Daniah's cheeks flushed red. His heart beats twice as fast. The light speech that just came out of Alderick's mouth was able to make it almost a heart attack. However, he tried to neutralize himself.

"Seriously so?" Ask Daniah enthusiastically.

"Just ask once."

"That's.. Al seriously.." Whine Daniah while hitting Al's arm.

Alderick just fell silent while looking at the adorable behavior of his girlfriend. However, besides Daniah there are other things that are weighing on his mind. After being with Daniah for almost a month, he remembered that there was other business that he had to finish. And he believes this business will be more complicated in the future.

Alderick hugged Daniah and drowned the girl in his arms. He hopes Daniah does not experience any problems by his actions. He would feel very guilty if something unwanted happened to the girl. Even though Alderick believes Daniah is not a weak woman.

"Darling, I want permission to go out of town, huh?" Alderick said in a soft tone.

Daniah shook his head and said, "Ga wants to. I'm getting married now."

Alderick smiled and kissed Daniah on the forehead. "Some day we'll get married." Alderick convinced Daniah.

"Daniah was so happy. It's like to kiss, Al huhu.." Reveal Daniah for being happy.

Alderick cupped the girl's cheek with his hand and kissed her pink lips. The girl was surprised a second time. Instantly her body temperature warmed. Daniah also felt herself to be an innocent girl who had just kissed her first love.

It took them a few seconds to be in such a position. Alderick raised his face again. Alderick smiled sweetly at Daniah. Daniah's face is very cute with a red sponge on her cheek.

"I can't imagine how hot your body is after the first night with me" Alderick teased Daniah.

Daniah imagined Alderick's words for a while. Then he covered his face while fleeing in front of Alderick.

"Bas perverted" he said in his heart.

The next day Alderick left to finish his business. Daniah was saddened by her man's departure. In addition to feeling lonely Daniah was worried that Alderick would not return to remember his departure some time ago. However, he was unable to prevent the man from leaving.

The days passed as usual. Office activities in the morning and rest at night. However, the thing that sometimes makes him sad is that Alderick can not be contacted. But Daniah kept trying to entertain herself by reading the poems Alderick left for Daniah.

Daniah opened a blank sheet in one of Alderick's books. He tried to write something for his girlfriend.

Why does the 7 days feel so long?

Because I think about you almost every day

How are you doing heart quail?

Did you have a good day?

Between happy and angry if you have good news

Glad you're okay and I'm grateful you're happy

And angry that in your good day nothing comes to your brain my name

It feels like crying out loud if I recall the beginning of our story yesterday

But when it was almost to the end, my tears suddenly stopped

Wh why? Because in that part I realized I looked like a fool

I look like I forced someone to give their love to me

Haha!

I remember a sentence from you

The point is this, if he's there he's still there and if he leaves he's going to leave

But look at your choices

I know you're afraid of being left behind by me, so you chose to leave me

I accept, even though I won't leave you before it's time to part ways

But life is a choice

And my dear has to make her choice too

I'm not a great writer like you

I just poured out what was in my heart

And at the end of this outpouring, I want to ask expectantly,

Daniah smiled after seeing the results of his writing which was an expression of his heart. He closed the book and pen and kept it in its original place. After half a night of writing the paper, he became sleepy and decided to go to sleep. And he hopes to meet Alderick in his dreams.

Two weeks have passed. Daniah has a class today. Until the afternoon he was so busy because chasing his abandoned college assignment had been a few weeks.

Rachel, her best friend, is also in the library accompanying Daniah to work. Because it's Sunday so the girls have no activities other than on campus.

If you ask about Daniah's office friend? Surely they are now gathering somewhere whether it's a restaurant, a cafe, or something, karaoke or whatever the place is exciting but Daniah has asked permission not to come on the grounds there is a task from the campus that must be done.

"Btw, didn't you say you had a bandmate that was, Dan?" Rachel asked in between her boredom of reading a book.

"Yes." Yeah." Daniah replied briefly because she was focusing on her laptop.

"As long as you've met here?" The short-haired woman was curious.

Daniah stopped his activities for a moment. "Not yet, but we've rarely seen each other since I was in college." Daniah said in a soft tone.

"Hm.. The heck Lu, Dan. Ga jumpain them, even though you say they are the best friend you have," said Rachel a little meledek.

Daniah laughed, "And now there's you. You took their position."

"Yes your word!"

Daniah just laughed at his friend. Rachel is a very unique girl. He was able to make the people around him cheerful when he saw his behavior.

Suddenly Daniah's phone rings. The girl picked up the phone without seeing the name of the caller first.

"Hello?" Daniah said with a laugh still left in her voice.

"I'm in front of your campus, get out right now!"

Alderick immediately hung up the phone without saying goodbye to Daniah.
