Eps 3: A Pronounced Promise

Daniah's heart immediately beat fast. Like there are thousands of butterflies flying in his stomach causing a warming effect. He was sure by now his cheeks would have been flushed red as a tomato. That heartfelt-sounding sentence managed to make him want to fly to the seventh sky there.

'What? Married married?' daniah doesn't believe it. He looked at his girlfriend who was also looking at him. Al would not carelessly say something let alone say such a sacred thing.

"You're not kidding, are you?" ask Daniah to confirm his girlfriend's statement again.

"There is no joke for you Daniah. I have to take responsibility for you as well as your feelings for me." Alderick.

It's like dreaming Daniah doesn't want to wake up from her sleep. The words that became the desire of every woman he has now got from the person he hoped. Even the pleasure in his chest could not be expressed.

Daniah hugged Al with tears of happiness that now wet her cheeks.

"Thank you Al, thank you for coming back to me. And thank you for still loving me. With you making that sacred promise to me, it can at least be a payment for the wait I've been waiting for."

Daniah sobbed on Al's broad shoulder. Alderick felt very sorry for the girl who was crying on his shoulder. He also hugged the girl.

"Easy." Al also straightened Daniah's body. The face of her girl who was soaked by tears she immediately wiped it with her fingers. "You don't cry anymore, yeah. Your tears are precious, dear. If I want to buy it where it is for you."

Daniah immediately hit the man's chest after a silly sentence that was thrown from Al's mouth. "You're kidding me mutely.. People are still amazed to know!" tukas Daniah's.

"Engga. Keep joking! Then it says huft.." Daniah turned her face away from Alderick.

Daniah was shocked when one warm kiss landed on her right cheek. He immediately held his cheek that had just been kissed by Al while turning to the perpetrator.

"You are, just from nyosor!" say Daniah firmly.

"Father. Same with the wife." Al also smiled after the sentence that made the ravage of Daniah's heart he threw.

Daniah only replied to Alderick by shuffling his hair. Because if he answers with words then Alderick will tease him even more.

After the road drama was over, Alderick drove back to his apartment. Tonight felt so warm he felt because of the girl who is now sitting next to him.

Daniah woke up in the morning when she did not feel the figure of Alderick who was not on his bed. The gadia's eyes blinked several times trying to avoid the glare of sunlight that appeared through the window.

Sure enough, Alderick's gone. Not even on the couch across the bed. Daniah got up and walked out.

A pile of sandwiches covered with tissue on a plate just opened Daniah. Across the plate was a glass of milk in a long glass with a small paper scrap crimped underneath.

I've prepared breakfast for you, so eat it to delay hunger. I have a sudden business so I have to go. Don't wait because I don't know when I'll be back. Wait in the apartment until I get back.

al - Al

The girl nodded her mark. He grabbed a sandwich on the plate and ate it. Maybe it's just a work matter that won't be long, he thought. After he finished eating the sandwich Alderick made, he went to the bathroom.

After finishing the bath, Daniah decided to contact Alderick when lunch time came. Actually do not want to bother him but usually this hour is a break hour. Daniah pressed the green button when he found the destination number.

But strangely the connection is not connected to the destination number. From hearing the explanation of the operator the number is not active. Daniah tried to think positively, maybe there was a meeting or all sorts of things that were so serious. He then left the apartment to find lunch.

Daniah entered a cafe not far from Alderick's apartment building. Because the design form of a unique cafe room Daniah also chose this cafe as a place to overcome his hunger. When he was about to order, how surprised he was when he saw the figure of a man who was serving food to be brought by the waitres.

"Alfy?" daniah said hesitantly.

The man who might be a chef turned to look at Daniah. He was just as surprised as he looked at the figure of the girl who had just mentioned his name. He took down his hat and immediately approached the girl.

"Daniah? You're actually Daniah, right?" alfy asked in disbelief.

"So you're actually Alfy? Whoa.." Daniah immediately hugged Alfy which made the cafe workers immediately look at them in surprise. It was seen that some workers whispered to each other while watching them.

"How are you, Dan? Uh, let's just sit in my room so we can have a quieter conversation" Alfy said as they finished hugging.

Alfy immediately invited Daniah to his room without approval from Daniah. He also pulled Daniah's hand which made the women workers in the cafe very envious.

Arriving in Alfy's room, Daniah was asked to sit on a sofa that had been arranged in the room. Daniah was so amazed to see the decoration of Alfy's work room that was very neat and unique.

"This cafe has lo?" ask Daniah enthusiastically.

Alfy smiled and nodded, "Yes right, this is my small business."

"Pala lu small-time. It's a broad dodol!" sergeant Daniah did not accept Alfy's expression. The man chuckled too.

"By the way, I just heard you," said Alfy staring at Daniah's face.

"Gue's good. This is my condition." Daniah also smiled to demonstrate the condition of wearing a T-shirt and jeans kulot as his subordinates.

Alfy smiled and nodded. Didn't think she'd ever see Daniah, her childhood friend. How many years ago he broke off communication with Daniah because Daniah suddenly moved a family somewhere. And finally Daniah herself brought herself back to Alfy's front.

Honestly Alfy never had feelings for Daniah. However, that was only when he was a teenager. Alfy knows that now Daniah must have had a lover, as well as her who has felt heartbreak several times because of love problems. And now Alfy had regarded Daniah as his own brother. An older sister whom he must take care of with all his heart.
