Episodes 1. Death and Rebirth

2023 Year

At the border of Han Qing city, a gentle breeze flew the dried leaves. The twigs of the trees swaying gave off a "Srekkk! Srekk!" in the middle of a very dark night.

On a wooden bridge, two men were standing in the middle. The fat man was holding a dark brown box, and the skinny man was sucking a cigar between his fingers.

"Boss!" greet the fat man as soon as he realized the existence of the skinny man who was staring at his back.

The fat man turned around, he faced the skinny man to wait for his next order.

"100 Million, I want you to eliminate Ye Wu Shuang" said the skinny man with a grin.

Not yet had the fat man respond to his orders, a woman walked over while saying in a loud voice. "100 Million? Turns out my life only cost 100 Million in your eyes? Very cheap, I can even make 100 Million in a matter of 1 hour."

"Why are you here?" asked the skinny one with a surprised and panicked face.

"You think?" sahut Ye Wu Shuang who raised next to the corner of his lips.

"Zhao Gang, quickly kill him!" shouted the skinny one with a loud voice while running away from Ye Wu Shuang.

Ye Wu Shuang smiled sinisterly, he raised one eyebrow and then said to himself. "Ah... The trap was right." his smile disappeared slowly. He said, "I came to kill you!"

Ye Wu Shuang pulled out a small gun with his right hand, he pointed the gun muzzle at the skinny guy's head. A foot flew towards Ye Wu Shuang, but he immediately dodged so as not to hit his face.

Ye Wu Shuang glanced at the man who attacked him, he then shot the fat man who had been assigned to kill Ye Wu Shuang, a bullet right on the man's forehead.

"Brukkk!"

Fat man slammed on the surface of the wooden bridge, he immediately died instantly as well because the bullet penetrated into his big brain.

Without looking at the skinny man, Ye Wu Shuang fired a bullet from the gun in his hand. The bullet slid quickly behind the skinny man's head, the man immediately slumped to the ground with blood rushing from the hole in his head.

Ye Wu Shuang walked to where the skinny man's corpse lay, he picked up the box that had fallen when the skinny man was shot. Out of curiosity, Ye Wu Shuang opened the box. Inside the box was a round object resembling a ball. Ye Wu Shuang picked up the ball that looked like a turtle egg then looked at it closely.

"Sir!"

Sound from inside the ball.

"Time bomb!" muttered Ye Wu Shuang, he immediately threw the ball into the air. But unfortunately, the rest of the time turned out to be only 1 second.

"BOOM!!!"

The explosion occurred in the air, but the distance was still too close to Ye Wu Shuang. The entire bridge was shattered into pieces of wood that were thrown into the river with a rushing stream. Ye Wu Shuang also fell into the river, he was dragged down by the current until he finally lost consciousness.

For too long in the water, the woman died. Ye Wu Shuang's spirit flew across time, he was carried into another world dimension.

Ming Dynasty

The sky at that time in the bright moon shaped perfectly round. The stars scattered over the darkness of space made their light visible from below.

The grass was swaying, the branches of the trees were rubbing against the strong night wind.

There was a conversation between the two men, yet Ye Wu Shuang was still unable to move the body that he had just possessed.

"The lady from the noble family is indeed different, look at her glowing white skin, it's really very tempting."

"Alright, anyway, the body will soon be thrown into the middle of the sea. No one will know."

"Your father is really evil, but I like him. Let me start first. Hehe..."

A beautiful woman was lying on the ground, her clothes a little messy with a gaping chest part revealing her cleavage poking out partially. A hand reached out toward the woman's chest.

Ye Wu Shuang woke up, he immediately caught the hand that was trying to touch the body of his host. With some strength, Ye Wu Shuang broke the bones of the man's fingers.

The man shouted loudly in pain, holding one hand with the other. Whimpering and grimacing, the man screamed loudly with a frightened face.

"Ha... Han... Huuuuuuuu!"

While his partner stood silently for a moment, before he finally shouted hysterically.

"There's ghouluuu! Dead body!!!"

Ye Wu Shuang covered his ear that was hurting from the screams of the two men trying to kill him. He walked up to them while saying, "Where is the ghost? Where are the undead you're afraid of? You cursed me? Take it easy, even if the universe is falling apart, I won't die before you!"

"Ka... You're not a ghost? You're not dead yet?" ask one of the men.

"It doesn't look dead. Then there's nothing more to fear. Earlier, Manager Ma complained he died too soon. Since he's not dead yet, let's just play it until we're satisfied, take it as good torture" another man said.

"He can't cultivate, we just take him home. Hehehe.." said the man before.

Ye Wu Shuang smiled sinisterly, he raised the front hair that covered part of his face. "Sadly, I have not been underestimated for a long time by others. You fucking gibberish even dared to lower me." he said in a flat voice.

A man advanced forward, the man directly attacked Ye Wu Shuang using a double-edged sword that he held with both hands.

Ye Wu Shuang dodged and resisted the man's attack with both bare hands. He leaped backwards and then stood back up firmly with both of his legs looking scrawny.

"Hey... Don't let you hurt her pretty face. We haven't had time to enjoy her beautiful body!" exclaimed the fellow man with a perverted smile on his face.

"Bahhh... Hahaha.." Ye Wu Shuang's laughter boomed all over the room. He felt funny and silly hearing the sentence spoken by the squinty-eyed man.

"It seems like he went crazy from ingesting a lot of stimulants." exclaimed the man again with his lips raised upwards.

"Kriekk!"

Ye Wu Shuang broke a tree branch.

"Srett!"

She tore off part of her long dress, then wrapped her palm with a long piece of cloth that she had torn from her dress. Ye Wu Shuang then grasped the tree branch with the palm of his hand that had been wrapped around his cloth.

"Come, let's get started!" he said with a faint grin and threw a gaze similar to that of a savage beast.
