Episodes 3. Foreign Memory

The handsome man did not reply, he only watched Ye Wu Shuang closely.

However, when Ye Wu Shuang took a closer look, he was surprised to find that below the man's hairline was a row of scales. And similarly to the bottom of his arm, Ye Wu Shuang could see lines that resembled dragon scales.

Ye Wu Shuang gulped, surprised and a little scared by the strange creature in front of him. However, he tried to remain calm and not show his fear. He lowered the sword then reduced the tension on his body.

Seeing the face of the young girl in front of him not screaming in panic after seeing the scales on his body made the man smile, yet his smile did not look pleasant in Ye Wu Shuang's eyes at all.

The girl tried to ease her anxiety and fear. He asked the man in front of him. "Who are you? Why do you have scales on your body?"

The man remained silent, he was still staring intently at Ye Wu Shuang. After a while, he finally spoke with a slightly resounding voice.

"Little girl, you shouldn't be in a place like this! This place is very dangerous and the power you have is nothing compared to the saint beasts living in this forest."

Ye Wu Shuang was surprised to hear the words of the man in front of him, he did not understand what the saint beast meant. But he tried to stay calm and keep his facial expression.

"I'm sorry, but I didn't come here on purpose. I'm lost and I'm looking for a way out of this forest."

"You need to get out of here before it's too late." Advice from the man.

Ye Wu Shuang nodded, he turned his body to leave. However, before he walked too far, he turned towards the man and asked.

"Sorry, I don't know your name yet. May I ask what your name is?"

The cold-faced man developed a smile on his lips, yet his cold face instead looked even more sinister and hideous.

"My name is Long Chen. But you better not remember."

Then, without waiting for an answer from Ye Wu Shuang, he turned around and disappeared into the rushing water.

Ye Wu Shuang ran close to the river, he was looking around for Long Chen's whereabouts that suddenly disappeared just like that. But he did not see anyone inside the river, the rushing water currents made Ye Wu Shuang difficult to find the man.

"I hope he'll be okay!" ye Wu Shuang said inwardly.

Ye Wu Shuang's gaze led to a large rock that was in the middle of the river. His gaze was fixed on a glittering object that resembled the scales of a giant fish.

Out of curiosity, Ye Wu Shuang leaped onto the rock, he picked up the object then looked at it closely.

"This, is very similar to the scales of the man earlier!" thought Ye Wu Shuang who then kept the scales.

He jumped back to the riverbank and continued his journey to get out of the forest.

"Ciii... Ciii..."

The sound of a disappearing fox rang out from behind, Ye Wu Shuang turned to look at the fox then caught the little body of the fox leaping onto its body.

"You ran away alone and now you're back! Truly an unfaithful fox, comrade." Reprimand Ye Wu Shuang while stroking the fine fur on the white fox's body.

The fox moved its tail, it gently swept Ye Wu Shuang's face with its tail feathers.

"Haha... Stop, Geli!" he said laughing.

Ye Wu Shuang continued on his way. Just stepping a few meters forward, he lowered his body then crouched down while holding his head which he suddenly came in with various memories.

"What's this?" confused mumbling.

Memories that did not belong to him just came to his mind, making Ye Wu Shuang bewildered because those memories seemed to be memories that he had already gone through and felt.

He began to shed tears that he could not stop even though he did not want to cry. In his memory, Ye Wu Shuang was a daughter of a wealthy noble. Despite that, he was always insulted and insulted by everyone including his own family.

Ye Wu Shuang was the second son of the Ye Family who was a royal physician family. Ever since her birth mother gave birth to her third child, Ye Wu Shuang was treated like a servant. "Change, are you comforting me?" ye Wu Shuang asked as he gently stroked the fur that was on top of the fox's head.

"Ciii... Ciii...!" The fox nodded his head then licked the teary-eyed face of Ye Wu Shuang.

"Thank you, I'm fine!" he said again then got up and stood up while hugging the fox.

Ye Wu Shuang looked at the fox while thinking, "Shall I give him a name?"

"Change, do you have a name?" Ask the girl curious.

"Ciii! Ciii...!" answer the fox let out a voice that read CiiiCiii.

"What if I give you a name?" Ye Wu Shuang asked again while imagining a white fox in his arms that was similar to a wisp of white clouds.

"Ciii... Ciii...!" The white fox nodded as it understood the remark from Ye Wu Shuang.

"All right! Since you've agreed, I'll think of a name for you."

Ye Wu Shuang thought for a moment, he then said, "Bai Yin Qiu!"

The girl smiled, then stroked the fox and explained the name given to her.

"Because your fur is as white and as smooth as the clouds, I remember the white clouds that clump. And you look round like a ball, so I added Qiu behind your name! Do you like your name?" Ye Wu Shuang asked as he looked at the fox eyeballs that looked like night pearls.

The fox rubbed his head on Ye Wu Shuang's chest, he felt happy that he already had a name.

The girl smiled at the spoiled attitude shown by the fox.

"Yin Qiu Bai... Let's live together from now on!"

During the trip, Ye Wu Shuang thought of the memories that appeared in his mind. He realized one important thing he had to investigate first. He wondered in his heart.

"Who's the one who's trying to kill me?"

"The rotten man called Manager Ma, who was that person? Do they have a grudge?"

"In my memory, when I saw a man in fancy clothes. This girl's heart jolted and skipped a beat every time I imagined her face. Is that man her lover?"
