The Phoenix's

The Phoenix's
Episode 8's. Ye part2 residence

"Brakkk!"

The woman hit the table closest to the entrance. The two guests sitting on the chairs immediately stood up and helped the woman who looked in a miserable condition in front of them.

"Hey, young lady! You okay?" ask one of the men who broke it.

The woman immediately cried hysterically, water rushing down from both corners of her eyes. The sound of the young girl's cry was heard from the first floor to the third floor of the restaurant, inviting the curiosity of the guests there. All eyes were on the woman.

"Please save my Miss! Help me!" she shrieked the woman with an increasingly heavy cry.

The man next door asked him again. "What's going on? Miss you why?"

"My mother almost starved to death and was tortured every day. Help u! Please get my Miss out of that house!"

Some of the guests looked pitiful to the woman. They stood up from their seats and walked over to the crying woman in the midst of the food they enjoyed.

"Who is the lady you serve?" ask a middle-aged woman who has just approached.

"Miss Ye! First Miss in the Ye family!"

As soon as he heard the call of "Miss Ye", Ye Wu Ching who was teasing the first Prince immediately stood up from the seat. The woman was stunned for a moment while staring towards the entrance.

The two princes sitting with Ye Wu Ching looked puzzled as the woman suddenly stood up from her seat.

"Miss Ye, what's wrong?" the Second Prince asked as he looked at the nervous-looking face of Ye Wu Ching.

"Ti's... There's nothing. I was just a little surprised by the words from the waiter there." Ye Wu Ching said in a stammered voice.

The two princes stared at the female servant who was standing near the front desk.

"What happened to Miss Ye?" asked the middle-aged woman who was standing next to the female servant.

"My mother was locked up and not given food for a few days. I can't bear to see Miss suffering so much from hunger, so I gave food to Miss secretly. Hiks.." said the maid as she pleased. He then continued his words.

"But I was caught giving food to Miss so the Host punished the whip while kneeling on a broken piece of glass. Hix... I'm fine to be punished, but I can't see Miss constantly receiving harsh and cruel treatment from her own family. Hix... Hicks....!"

The middle-aged woman walked over and took out a handkerchief. He wiped away the tears on the female servant's face.

"It's a pity that Miss you serve. If I may know, which one of you works at Ye's residence?" he asked with a curious face.

"Ye's residence, which served as the Royal Physician!" sahut maid.

The restaurant guests were surprised by the reply given by the female waiter. They seemed to distrust the woman's words, for Master and Lady Ye were famous as benevolent and merciful nobles.

"Please! My lady has almost reached her limit. Please ask you kind and generous nobles. Please save my missus' life!"

The nobles started discussing this with their classmates.

"Didn't they say Miss Ye disappeared huh? Why did this servant say something different?"

"Maybe there's something the Ye family is hiding?"

"If what this servant is saying is true, shouldn't we go save the young Miss?"

"Sorry disturbing! I am Ye Wu Ching, the younger brother of Ye Wu Shuang who you guys are talking about."

Ye Wu Ching turned his gaze to the female servant. He walked up to the waiter and said with a stern face.

"I don't know this waiter. He lied about my brother being tortured and not being given food!"

"Second lady, how can you say that? I am Yin Qiu, Yin Qiu who has worked for 10 years in the Ye residence. I always accompanied the first Miss, how could you not know Yin Qiu." shrieked the fox in a sobbing voice.

"You don't say shit!" ye Wu Ching snapped out of patience.

"Taa... But Yin Qiu was telling the truth!" exclaimed the servant woman while wiping her tears with the handkerchief given by the middle-aged woman earlier.

"You'll be punished if you keep inventing lies!" threaten Ye Wu Ching by raising both of his eyeballs.

Yin Qiu pretended to be frightened, he immediately crouched down and curled up on the floor. Tears that had dried up now began to flood again.

The middle-aged woman who had felt sorry for Yin Qiu had also lowered her body. He patted slowly on Yin Qiu's shoulder then said in a soft voice.

"I will help the Miss you serve if what you say is the truth. Do you dare to swear that First Miss Ye is indeed inside Ye's residence right now?"

Yin Qiu smiled inwardly. He lifted his bowed face, looking at the middle-aged woman at the side with teary eyes.

"Yin Qiu swore, First Miss is indeed inside Ye's residence. Please save Miss! Yin Qiu pleaded to the benevolent nobles here!" yin Qiu said as he lowered his head slightly.

"Ah shit! I have to bow down in front of these weak humans!" the white fox in his mind.

"Death we go to Ye's residence to prove the words of this young girl!" the middle-aged woman orders her two servants.

Ye Wu Ching had no intention of forbidding those who wanted to come and investigate the truth in the residence. Because he was certain that Ye Wu Shuang had died inside the fog forest after he had told the caretaker Ma to take care of his Brother who had always been a thorn in Ye Wu Ching's eyes.

The horse carriage arrived at the front door, the middle-aged woman climbed onto the top of the carriage followed by Yin Qiu who was sitting next to her. The train went to Ye's residence.

A few curious nobles joined in, they rode their respective chariots and headed to the famous royal Physician's residence in the Ming Empire.

Upon arrival in front of the gate of the Ye residence, the two gatekeepers looked surprised to see dozens of horse carriages stopping in front of them.

"What's this?" asked Ah Zhu who was guarding at the left door.

While the right doorman named Shu Guo just stared at the horse carriage in front of him with enlarged eyes.

Yin Qiu got off first from the horse carriage, he then helped the middle-aged woman to descend the steps on the horse carriage.

"Open the door!" command the middle-aged woman with an authoritative voice.

Both guards were feeling depressed and frightened. They immediately opened the gate without daring to refute the orders of the middle-aged woman.

"Let's go in!"
