Ye Wu Shuang stared at the empty parcel that was still on the table.

"Fruit that increases strength? If I eat this much fruit, can I improve my abilities?" Inner Ye Wu Shuang.

Pai Hu pushed the head of Yin Qiu that kept coming closer to his face.

"Go away, away from me! You stinking fox!" Pai Hu said while holding Yin Qiu's head with his palm.

"You must be lying, right? Aye, right? You must've just scared me into leaving that fruit for you!" Complain Yin Qiu with a sullen face.

Ye Wu Shuang suddenly hit the table hard, making the two nirvana beings startled and turned to look at him.

"Don't be noisy!" He said with a serious face.

Yin Qiu and Pai Hu immediately released their hands which pushed and held each other back. Now both of them stood up straight while waiting for orders from Ye Wu Shuang.

"Pai Hu, did you just say that this fruit can increase strength?"

The human-shaped tiger immediately nodded, confirming the question from Ye Wu Shuang.

"Can I also increase my strength with this fruit?"

This time Pai Hu did not directly answer the question from Ye Wu Shuang, he scratched his non-itchy head with a puzzled face.

"I'm sorry, but I also don't know if this fruit can work properly if consumed by Miss Phoenix."

Moments after the departure of Yin Qiu and Pai Hu, a servant knocked on the door of the room. Ye Wu Shuang opened the door and it turned out that the servant standing in front of the door was Nuo'er, the loyal servant who always accompanied Madam Gu.

Nuo'er saluted Ye Wu Shuang, he then gave a box that was in his hand to Ye Wu Shuang.

"Miss Ye, I came to hand this over to Miss. Please keep it well as from today, Miss Ye is already a part of the Gu family."

"What do you mean?" Ye Wu Shuang asked even though he already knew the meaning of the servant's words.

"The word of the Emperor has arrived. From today on, Miss Ye is the adopted daughter of the Gu family. Ye's family won't be able to bother Miss anymore." Nuo Er replied with a cheerful smile.

"Silent and too plain." Ye Wu Shuang said in his mind as he looked at Nuo'er's face.

"Nuo'er was very pleased that the Emperor had agreed to the request from the Madam. Miss won't go back to the house that tortured Miss again." Added the young girl before finally leaving Ye Wu Shuang alone.

Ye Wu Shuang closed the room door, he opened the box given by Nuo'er.

Inside the box was jewelry and money. Ye Wu Shuang saw a plaque of Gu's surname. He flipped the plaque over and it turned out that Wu Shuang's name was on the back of the plaque.

"KTP? What'sthat?" Long Chen asked inwardly.

The man entered silently through the door when Ye Wu Shuang opened the door for Nuo'er. Currently Long Chen was using shadow magic to remove the appearance of his body from the eyes of an ordinary human.

Despite not seeing Long Chen's whereabouts, Ye Wu Shuang suddenly realized that someone was in his room.

"Until when are you gonna hide like a rat?" Ye Wu Shuang asked in a flat tone.

Long Chen was a little surprised because Ye Wu Shuang could sense his existence there.

"Here, he never knew of my whereabouts even though I often secretly lay next to him." Inner Long Chen.

Long Chen unleashed the shadow magic he had installed, his figure appearing in front of Ye Wu Shuang who was now looking at him with a suspicious look.

"Who are you? Why are you spying on me?"

Long Chen walked over, yet Ye Wu Shuang did not blink in the slightest. Looking at Long Chen who was about to touch him, Ye Wu Shuang immediately took out a dagger blade and pointed the tip of the blade at Long Chen's face.

"Stop there or this knife will ruin your ugly face!" Threaten the girl with a serious face.

Long Chen with a handsome and cold luxurious appearance, he could tease all the women with just one gaze but was different from Ye Wu Shuang. The girl only considers herself a stalker worthy of suspicion and caution.

"ugly? Me??" Long Chen asked with both raised eyebrows.

"Yes! Didn't you cover your face with a mask because you're ashamed of your ugly face?" Sindir Ye Wu Shuang with a grinning smile.

Long Chen laughed loudly but his heart was slightly upset at Ye Wu Shuang's insults.

"Although I am ugly, I will be your husband in the future! So you must be ready to accept your husband's ugly face!" Said Long Chen before he disappeared from before Ye Wu Shuang.

Ye Wu Shuang walked out of the room, he went to the middle of the garden and stood in front of a goldfish pond filled with lotus plants that were blooming.

Ye Wu Shuang tried to recall what Yin Qiu and Pai Hu did when they performed magic in front of him.

"Snap your fingers and stare at your opponent." Ye Wu Shuang muttered as he looked towards the pond.

"While it feels silly, I want to try it!" Ye Wu Shuang thought while moving his fingers as Pai Hu and Yin Qiu did in his memories.
