Ye Wu Shuang gathered all the rest of his strength, he dashed nimbly towards the front of the enemy then attacked the vital organs of the man nearby with a twig wrapped firmly in his hand.
"Brukkk!"
The man holding the double-edged sword had been lying on the ground with blood rushing down from the hole in his neck.
"Baa... How come? He's clearly a useless person!" exclaimed the other man with enlarged eyes.
It was hard to believe what he had just seen. The weak woman who had been rumored in one capital turned out to be able to fight his partner who held a sharp weapon.
"I think I just heard someone say I want to take a chance!" ye Wu Shuang said as he walked forward approaching the remaining man.
"I've heard of many countries doing castration to men like you, in fact I feel it's very inhumane" he continued in an orderly fashion.
The man continued to rewind his footsteps, his body trembling in fear with cold sweat pouring down his face.
"Ja... Don't come any closer!" exclaim the man with a trembling voice.
"Because in my dictionary, the person who insulted me must die!" ye Wu Shuang said with sinister-looking eyes.
"YAHHHH...!"
Ye Wu Shuang stabbed a tree branch into the left eye of the man, he screamed in pain as he whimpered on the rocky ground. He again poked the twig in the right eye of the man who was looking at him with a perverted look ever since he woke up.
"Great Miss, please forgive the life of your servant!" shouted the man while kneeling holding his two blood-stained eyes.
"Now you're asking for mercy? Where did your arrogant and haughty attitude go?" ye Wu Shuang asked in a condescending tone.
The man continued to plead while beating his head on the ground. "Excuse me, Please forgive the life of this worthless servant!"
Ye Wu Shuang grinned, he lowered his body then said in a cold tone.
"It looks like you forgot the words I just said! So listen to it again. The one who insulted me must die!"
"Julbb!"
The twig in Ye Wu Shuang's hand pierced through the skin and heart of the man in front of him. The man's head fell forward in a kneeling position and finally breathed his last in just a few seconds.
Ye Wu Shuang stood up, he took off the twig binding the twig in his hand with a satisfied smile as he stared intently at the now bloodied body of the man before him.
"Junk!" he kicked the man's body.
The woman walked to where the corpse of the man holding the sword was, she took the sword out of the man's hand in case there was any danger in the forest.
Ye Wu Shuang walked through the dense forest in the middle of the night, only the moonlight became his illumination. The quiet and dark atmosphere of the forest made him walk carefully, avoiding the towering branches and overhanging roots.
Ye Wu Shuang stopped when he heard a clattering sound behind him. He immediately twisted his body and prepared to face whatever would attack him.
However, what he encountered was not an enemy, but a fox peeking out from behind the bushes. Ye Wu Shuang smiled in relief, he waved his hand to summon the fox who was behind the thicket.
The fox immediately jumped forwards and climbed into Ye Wu Shuang's hand. The fox has a fur that is as white as cotton, the feathers appear to glow even though the situation there is very dark. Her green, round eyes were enlarged to look like night pearls.
"Hi little fox! Are you alone here too?" ye Wu Shuang asked as he looked into the shining eyes of the fox.
The fox only makes a sound, "Ciii... Ciii...!"
"Thank you for coming with me tonight. We will walk together until we reach our destination" he said, grabbing the fox's ear petals gently and stroking the fox's fine fur on its head.
Ye Wu Shuang again continued his journey through the quiet and dark forest in the middle of the night.
The fox looked at Ye Wu Shuang with bright eyes, as if it understood what the human was saying. After a while, the fox jumped up and ran forward, showing the way to Ye Wu Shuang who was following behind him carefully.
After a while of walking, Ye Wu Shuang and the fox arrived at a beautiful valley, where there was a rushing river in the middle. Ye Wu Shuang paused for a moment to admire the beautiful scenery, while the fox looked happy to play around the area.
"You are very smart to choose a path." praised Ye Wu Shuang as he observed the fox who continued to play cheerfully around the river.
Suddenly, Ye Wu Shuang felt that there was something strange in that place. The sounds of animals and insects were not heard there, even the mosquitoes and ants that were normally present in such a place were invisible.
When he looked towards the fox, he realized that the fox seemed to have known the presence of danger. The fox looked at Ye Wu Shuang sharply, as if signaling that there was something to look out for.
Ye Wu Shuang decided to follow his instincts and prepare to face the menacing dangers in the valley. He tried to stay calm and focused, paying attention to every movement and sound around him.
In the engulfing tension, Ye Wu Shuang saw that the little fox was no longer beside him. He wondered in his heart.
"Where did the fox go, did he know of the threatening danger and flee?"
Just then, a rumbling sound rang out from the distance, making Ye Wu Shuang even more wary. Faintly, he saw a handsome man standing in the middle of the river with a torrent.
The man stood upright with a height of almost 2 meters. Its skin glowed with a brownish-red color, as if it was made of heated coal.
Ye Wu Shuang saw that the man had red-colored eyes, which seemed to burn with fire and exuded an incredible sharpness.
Her long, shiny white hair moved slowly, reflecting the moonlight of the night. And despite having a handsome face, there was no visible expression on his face except the frostiness that made him look more like an ancient being than a human.
Although it looked frightening, the existence of the man caused an interest in Ye Wu Shuang. He wanted to know who the man was and what happened to him so that he was in the river with a rushing stream.
The man had a cold face, no other expression on his face. He looked at Ye Wu Shuang sharply, making Ye Wu Shuang goosebumps involuntarily. However, Ye Wu Shuang tried to control his fear and asked the man in front of him, "Who are you?"
