The assassins bounced so much as to touch the boundary created by Yin Qiu and Pai Hu. While the two assassins who were standing guard outside were shocked and intended to barge into the room.

Ye Wu Shuang looked towards the door, he saw the shadows of the two assassins from behind the door.

"Yin Qiu, there are two rats outside. Let them in!" Order Ye Wu Shuang with a grinning smile on her beautiful and charming face.

Yin Qiu plucked a finger.

In an instant, the door opened and the two assassins guarding outside fell down while trying to break down the door that had not been able to be opened.

"Welcome to join my practice doll!" Said the welcome Ye Wu Shuang to greet the two guests who broke into the room.

The sharp knife in Ye Wu Shuang's hand turned around again, her beautiful face now looked like an angel of death. He walked up to the assassins by continuously playing the dagger on his finger.

"Graans...!" Said one of the men in a voice trembling in fear. "No, what are you people?" He asked again, rewinding his footsteps.

"Fight me if you still want to live!" Ye Wu Shuang said before throwing the blade into the air.

Tranggg!

A leaf struck the dagger thrown by Ye Wu Shuang.

The little leaf shot in through the window of the room. Yin Qiu and Pai Hu trembled slightly as they felt a murderous aura emanating from the leaves that stopped Ye Wu Shuang's dagger.

The tiny leaves were still floating and flying around the necks of the assassins. In a matter of seconds, all the killers fell with the condition of the neck slashed by the thin object of fresh green.

The leaves were still floating in the air, and now it was pointing towards Ye Wu Shuang who was standing staring out the window.

"Miss!" Shouted Yin Qiu and Pai Hu simultaneously when he saw the leaf approaching Ye Wu Shuang.

At first they thought that the leaf would hurt Ye Wu Shuang, but it turned out that the floating leaf stopped darting and fell right when it touched Ye Wu Shuang's tightly clenched red lips.

Faintly, Ye Wu Shuang saw the figure of a man in white clothes. The man's silver hair was emitting a golden light due to the reflection of the moonlight.

The men smiled as their eyes looked at each other. Ye Wu Shuang dashed out the window, about to chase after the mysterious man. However Yin Qiu quickly pulled and held back Ye Wu Shuang's hand.

"He's dangerous!" Said Yin Qiu while shaking his head.

Seeing Yin Qiu's serious face, Ye Wu Shuang paused his intentions. He stared at the man's back until he disappeared into the darkness of the night.

Ye Wu Shuang turned around, he stared at the scattered corpses that were on the floor.

"Done all this junk!" His orders were to Yin Qiu and Pai Hu.

"Well, Miss!" Answer both at the same time.

Yin Qiu and Pai Hu moved all the corpses of the assassins with magic. While Ye Wu Shuang sat on the bed while thinking about the golden-coloured eyeballs of the man who managed to break through the defensive magic created by Yin Qiu and Pai Hu.

"Who is he? He looks familiar. But I can't see his mask-covered face." Thought Ye Wu Shuang.

"I'm so lucky to have you by my side!" Ye Wu Shuang muttered involuntarily.

Yin Qiu and Pai Hu heard the muttering of the Miss in front of him. They were happy because it was the first time the Great Phoenix gave praise.

During his life, the Great Phoenix did not need help from other creatures because he was the greatest and the owner of the most powerful magic in the world. But from the moment they were born again, the Great Phoenix they knew was like any other creature who often asked for help and was friendly towards anyone, as long as that person did not become his enemy.

Yin Qiu who originally came in the form of a white fox now turned into a beautiful woman with long white hair.

"Yin Qiu, can you change the color of your hair to black?" Ye Wu Shuang asked because he was curious about the figure of the man he had just seen.

At first glance, the man was similar to someone he had seen but their hair color was very different.

Yin Qiu smiled gracefully yet arrogantly, with her adorable style, she answered a question from Ye Wu Shuang. "Of course, that's a very easy thing for us."

Yin Qiu flicked his fingers, his white hair turned black in the blink of an eye. Seeing that, Ye Wu Shuang was even more convinced that the man was the man he had met in the forest.

"His eyes are gold!" Ye Wu Shuang.

"What?" Asked Yin Qiu and Pai Hu simultaneously.

Ye Wu Shuang realized that he had just let out his heart. "It's nothing. I just thought of something that made me curious." He said as he walked to the dining table.

"How can the food here be fine without a splash of blood?" Ye Wu Shuang asked as he looked around the table that was still clean with food neatly lined on it.

"I made protection magic so Miss Phoenix's food doesn't get dirty." Yin Qiu answered while raising his chin.

"Let's praise me, I'm a clever fox." Said Yin Qiu inwardly, hoping that he would be praised by Ye Wu Shuang.

"Thank you for doing that for me. But... Can you heat this food? Everything's cold and a little hardened." The Young Miss complained with an annoyed face.

Yin Qiu and Pai Hu looked at each other for a while.

"Didn't Miss Phoenix not like hot food?" Say Yin Qiu through telepathy.

Pai Hu scratched his head, he vividly recalled that their leader used to hate hot food so much because he was a fire phoenix that hated the heat.

"Maybe Miss Phoenix changed due to the loss of her past memories. Let's heat up this food!" Pai Hu spoke telepathically to Yin Qiu.

Yin Qiu nodded according to Pai Hu's suggestion. The fox man flicked his finger again and all the food on the table immediately warmed back as it was in between to the room.

"You're like a practical microwave!" Said Ye Wu Shuang who himself did not know whether it was a compliment or a mockery.

Yin Qiu and Pai Hu shook their heads as they did not understand the meaning of the word from the microwave. But the two of them just kept quiet while waiting for Ye Wu Shuang to finish his dinner.

Meanwhile, in a luxurious room. A man had just changed his clothes and opened the mask on his face. The man walked towards the window that was in the corner of the room, he stared out the window while raising his head.

"I finally found you, the reborn Phoenix!"
