Elliot thought of Az's words, in his mind was currently weighing whether what Az said about Jasmine was indeed true.
"Is it true that Jasmine refused the marriage?" ask Elliot in his heart.
Elliot also felt something strange on him, seeing the look of Az's eyes staring in disdain at him, Elliot felt a sense of loss.
Inside him feels empty. There was no longer a gentle look from the eyes that he had always ignored that again.
"What a feeling this is, this is not true" Elliot murmured as he shook his head.
"What's the matter, baby?" jasmine asked who was currently sitting next to him in the car.
"No, I just remembered there was a meeting this afternoon. I can't take you home. I'd better get you a cab." Elliot said.
Jasmine is actually very irritated because she has not had time to shop with the satisfaction of using Elliot's money today. But, looking at Elliot's face that looked flat and like he was being annoyed, Jasmine was afraid to complain.
"What's wrong with me?" Elliot muttered as he had parked his car on the side of a fairly quiet road.
Elliot didn't go to meetings. He deliberately lied to avoid Jasmine. Because since meeting Az with a different appearance and a different gaze, Elliot began to imagine the face of Az who looked much more beautiful in his eyes at this time.
"Is what Az said true that Jasmine wasn't forced to give up the position of bride back then?" elliot asked in his murmur.
"Then, what was the purpose of Jasmine refusing to marry me before if after that she was willing to become my lover despite having to be an affair?" Elliot murmured again.
"Is it true that it's because of rumors about me being cruel and hearing that I'm an old man?"
Elliot then took a flat object from his pocket and dialed his personal assistant's number.
"Tut. tut... tut.. "on the next note Henri his personal assistant picked up his phone.
"Hello sir." said Henri.
"Find out all about Azkaela, my ex-wife before I got married to her and how she got along with her family. Find out all about Jasmine. What he does often, wherever he goes when I'm not around" Elliot said.
"Okay sir." said Henri.
Elliot immediately disconnected his phone without saying anything more.
"Hopefully after this, I get an answer to the question in my mind about whether what I've been doing is wrong or right" Elliot said.
"Hopefully what Az said about Jasmine was not true. Jasmine has loved me for so long." Elliot said hesitantly.
"But, what was the purpose of Az forcing me to marry me?" elliot asked as he leaned against the back of the car seat and his hand pinched the base of his nose to reduce the dizziness of his head.
"If it's a treasure, during my marriage he never once spent money on me" Elliot said.
As Az leaves after witnessing the dirty thing that Elliot and Jasmine are doing in their room, Elliot sees the ATM card as well as the credit card that Az left on the table. The card he gave Az so that Az would not bother him for any business.
"Akh why should I think about what that cunning woman said? You stupid Elliot, he must have deliberately said that to make me doubt Jasmine" Elliot assured himself.
"Here you go, I'd better wait for news from Henri. After that, I just knew what I was supposed to do." said Elliot then returned to the vehicle.
As for Az, he was completely unaffected by the presence of Jasmine and Elliot before. Az is still busy continuing his shopping along with Yuki and the loyal Sidney following him.
When he was going home, Az accidentally saw a watch whose model was quite unique and thought that it would be suitable for his grandfather.
"I want to see that watch" Az told a girl in charge of guarding the watch before the guard asked Az what Az wanted while pointing towards the watch he meant.
"Well ladies, wait a minute" said the shopkeeper by the name of Ghea.
Just as Az was about to grab the watch from Ghea's hand, a girl grabbed it suddenly.
"I want this watch. I'll buy it." said the arrogant girl with the glamorous appearance.
"Sorry lady, but this lady first saw and wanted to buy the watch" Ghea said politely.
"You dare to oppose me? You're just an ordinary shopkeeper and dare to defy my will?" said the haughty girl.
"What's this?" ask a woman who looks more mature with her menor appearance and tight clothes.
"Eh, miss Seril? What's the problem Ghea?" the woman asked Ghea with a sharp look at Ghea after seeing the angry face of the haughty girl named Seril.
"This lady had wanted to see the watch first and Miss Seril suddenly snatched it and said she wanted to buy it" replied Ghea.
"Then what's the problem? This lady just wants to see, right? Not necessarily he'll buy it. We mustn't offend Mr. Derrick's daughter. Don't you know that his father is the marketing manager of this shopping mall?" said the woman while looking sinisterly at Az.
"I wouldn't ask to see it if I didn't intend to buy it" Az said after a long silence on the debate between Ghea and the woman who turned out to be his boss.
"You think this watch is worth a five-foot snack? When you say you want to buy it you can buy it easily?" cibir Seril looked down at Az.
If you ask where Yuki and Sidney are, they're both at the store door because Az told them not to come inside. They wanted to enter when they saw their young miss being underestimated but Az coded with a gaze and a headband.
"What's wrong if I want to buy it?" ask Az.
"I'm sorry, but even if you can afford to buy this watch, but we can't sell it to you" she said.
"Why is it like that? Isn't it as long as the item is sold and has not been sold or in other words no one has bought it, then it's legitimate for anyone to buy it as long as he can afford to pay the price?" ask Az.
"But,..........!" the woman had not yet finished her sentence, a man came to rebuke them.
"What's this?" ask the man.
"Dad....!" seril exclaimed with a happy smile because he felt he had won because his father was there.
