Devan heard Az's mutterings and was confused by Az's intent. In front of it turns out that the red light makes Devan stop the speed of his car and then look at Az.
"What do you mean by that?" ask Devan.
"What did I say?" ask Az back.
Who turned his shoulder face into a confused face because he had not realized that what he muttered about Az was heard by Devan.
"You talk about yourself like it's not you" Devan replied.
"I didn't say anything. Maybe you heard it wrong." said Az.
"Sharp is also his sense of hearing." Inner Az.
"Where could I have misheard. I obviously heard that you....."
"Tin tin tiiiiiiiin." the sound of the vehicle horn behind them cut off Devan's speech.
"Ck ck ck, I'm patient" said Devan annoyed while reapplying his vehicle because the lights were back in green when he was about to speak earlier.
Az smiled looking at Devan's annoyed face. He thinks Devan's face is as cute as a child when he's upset and grumbling as he is today.
"Heh you can also smile without coercion towards me" said Devan who accidentally saw Az smilingly staring at him.
"What do you mean?" tanya Az was confused.
"You can't possibly not know what I mean, right?" ask Devan back.
Devan now pulls his car over, removes his seatbelt and looks at Az when he turns off the engine.
"I really don't know. If I had known, I wouldn't have asked you again." Az replied.
"You have met twice, always smiling thinly that looks very forced. As for my grandfather and my parents, you will smile so sincerely and sweetly. I came to think that you hated me back then." Devan explained.
"I don't hate you at all. We just met and met, right? How can I hate someone I just met?" ask Az.
"Where do I know. You obviously don't like me because you're kind and friendly to others." Devan replied.
"I'm just not used to communicating with a guy. Especially because of my very bad past about the opposite sex, I will draw the line against a man" Az said.
"I don't know if the natural defensive attitude that comes out of me against the opposite sex would make you misunderstand me like this" he added.
"Past time?" devan parrot.
"Yes, the past. The story is too long and sad. I couldn't bear to tell you about that time but the point before I met my grandfather was so grim." Az replied.
"Oh, I'm sorry if my question brought you back to that bleak time" Devan said.
"No problem. Now, can you get your car back?" ask Az.
"Alright, on one condition" Devan said.
"What's the condition?" ask Az.
"Every time you see me you're no longer making boundaries. Think of me as a friend or family member. Aren't you also a part of my family since my grandfather and parents thought you were the daughter of the Gerald family?" answer Devan.
"But...."
"I will not force you to accept that I am a special person in your heart. Even if later you can open your heart and choose others we will still be friends and even brothers" said Devan.
"But I will make sure that there is only me who will fill your heart later." Devan said.
"All right." Az resigned.
"Promise?" devan said as he extended his hand.
"Yes promise." saut Az welcomes Devan's hand to make them both shake hands.
Devan turned back to face forward, put on his seatbelt and drove back to his car with a smile on his lips.
Without the two of them realizing there was a pair of eyes that stared intently at them from behind the glass of his car. That person had been following them from ever since Az and Devan left the restaurant.
The flash back
A man was just about to drive his vehicle into the restaurant parking lot when his eyes accidentally saw Az who was talking to some people.
"Why does that cunning woman look so familiar to the Devan family?" he muttered that he had not seen Devan being blocked by the car door.
That person is Elliot who happens to be having a meeting with his client at the restaurant where Az, his grandfather and Devan's family had lunch together.
"Why is Devan smiling at the cunning woman, he even helped the woman close the car door and would he drive the cunning woman somewhere?" he said he was surprised to see Devan close the door for Az and enter the same car at the wheel.
"There's still enough time to see where they're going" he said after seeing the clock in his hand.
"What did they do until they didn't realize the light had turned green?" he muttered in annoyance while at the red light and heard the sound of car horns protesting Devan's immobile vehicle after the light turned green.
"Is Devan entangled in the deceitful seduction of that crafty woman?" I don't know who it was.
"The woman turned out to be a cunning and greedy fox. He's been in touch with the wealthy master Samuel still wants to ensnare Devan. Is he the kind of person who gets bored easily with his partner?" muttered.
"What are they gonna do by pulling the car over on a deserted street like this?" muttered.
His heart seemed to burn seeing his ex-wife who was once a shabby but always full of respect and obedience and had a gentle look towards him. Now turned beautiful and charming but staring coldly at him was with his best friend.
"What are they actually doing in there? Do they do that in public places like this? All I know is that Devan is not a woman, why is he with such a cunning and greedy woman like her?" he said it's getting more agitated.
He was just about to open the door of his car about to go down and reprimand Az and Devan but his HP suddenly rang.
"Hello what's wrong?"
"..........."
"Ah I almost forgot." said Elliot looking at the clock on his wrist.
"I'll be there soon" he said again.
He switched off the phone before getting a reply from across. He had almost forgotten the important client he had to meet in a moment.
"Foolish about that woman. The most important thing is the company. I can reprimand and warn Devan to be careful of the woman next time" he said, speeding up his vehicle.
