Az and Mr. Samuel arrive at the restaurant where their lunch appointment is with Mr. Gerald and his family.
"Good day, ladies and gentlemen. Can I help you?" kind and polite greeting a waiter of the restaurant.
"Is there a table order on behalf of Mr. Gerald?" ask sir Samuel.
"There's sir. Are you master Samuel?" ask the waiter.
"Hm." replied Samuel.
"Mr Gerald and his family are waiting for you both. Let's go over here, sir, miss." said the waiter pointing the way.
"Hey old man." greeted master Samuel as he entered the VIP room of Mr. Gerald's order.
In there is already Mr. Gerald, his son and son-in-law and Devan of course. Devan smiled at Az's arrival.
"Hi Sam." greet Mr. Gerald while standing and embracing each other for a moment.
"Hello Az dear. How are you?" greet Mr. Gerald turning to Az while holding the top of Az's head.
"Hello is also Gerald's grandfather. I've been so much better." replied Az.
They all greet each other. Az and Devan shook hands for a while. Devan is getting curious about Az, the article is made, Az always answered kindly with a sweet smile greeting grandfather as well as his parents while in him Az only greeted the potluck with a smile that seemed forced to inflate it even for a moment.
"What activities have you done so long as you haven't gone down directly to the business of the venerable master Samuel Az, dear?" ask Mr. Gerald.
"Don't insinuate" said Mr. Samuel.
"It's as if you've never been busy with work and intervened to take care of business" he added.
"I'm not insinuating you at all, old man. I just asked Az about his activities." said Mr. Gerald.
"Whatever." said Mr. Samuel.
That's how the two of them always argue with each other if they meet from the past even to their old age. But no one would really be offended by the debate.
"I'm just going through training little by little cake. Since this is so much different from what I've been through before, I have to train to get used to the practice instead." Az replied with a smile.
"Ah her smile was so sweet that I wanted to kiss her sweet lips. Why don't you ever give me a smile like that?" inner Devan.
They continued to greet each other until their ordered food arrived. After that they all ate in silence so that only leaving the clinking sound of cutlery clashing with each other.
"Grandfather almost forgot. It's for you, dear Az." said Mr. Gerald gave Az a paper bag.
"Is this Grandpa Gerald?" tanya Az looked at the paper bag on her lap.
"Open up then you'll know the contents." replied Mr. Gerald.
Az opens and looks at his contents. Inside the paper bag it turns out there is a set of diamond jewelry that is very beautiful and of course with exorbitant prices.
"Why did Grandpa Gerald give me this?" ask Az.
"That's a welcome to our family. Because from the moment we first met I already thought you were my grandson." replied Mr. Gerald.
"Thank you for that but, grandfather does not need to give this expensive thing." said Az.
"It's not expensive at all if it's for my granddaughter. That's also if you're willing to acknowledge this old man as your grandfather." said Mr. Gerald.
"Thank you, dear Az. Old Gerald wouldn't go broke just for giving you that jewelry. That's even if you don't want to see him sulking long enough for this" said Mr. Samuel.
"Your grandfather is right, dear Az. You'd better take the gift from dad before he goes on strike to talk to everybody" Renata said.
"You talk about me as if I were a child who was a sulking hobby." said Mr. Gerald annoyed.
"Well, Gerald's grandfather, I'll get a present from Gerald's grandfather, thank you" Az said to stop arguing.
"Surely I would be so happy to have more families loving me" she added, making the initially upset Mr. Gerald smile again.
"Then you can call me mom, mom, or mom because I really want to have a daughter" Renata said with hopeful eyes.
"Good mama." saut Az made Renata stand up and then approached Az and hugged him tightly.
"Thank you dear. My mom was so happy today" she said happily.
Everyone except Devan is very happy today. How could it be happy that the girl he wanted would be his foster brother? She grumbles inwardly but with prestige and uneasiness to express her disapproval with the decision to consider Az her foster sister.
She is embarrassed to admit that she has been attracted to women who don't even glance at her in the slightest and she doesn't feel good if later they think that she doesn't like Az being in her family.
"Kring cring cring." mrs Samuel rang when they were about to go home.
"Hello, what's wrong?" ask sir Samuel.
"........…"
"Is the problem serious?" asked Master Samuel with a frown.
"……………"
"All right I'll be there soon." it's broken up in the end.
"What's the cake?" ask Az.
"There is a slight problem in our company branch which is in country H." replied Mr. Samuel.
"Will it impact the core company?" ask Mr. Darren.
"If not addressed immediately then it can have an impact" replied Mr. Samuel.
"Az baby, does it matter if you go home to be picked up by Sidney and Yuki? Grandpa must go to the airport right now." asked Mr. Samuel.
"No problem grandpa. Grandpa doesn't have to worry about me." Az replied.
"Let me just send Az home Sam's grandfather." Devan bargained to get Mr. Samuel to call Sidney to cancel the call.
"Yes that's better. It just so happens that Devan drives his own car here." said Renata.
"That's more practical than waiting for someone else to pick Az up" Mr Darren agreed.
"I think that's a good idea too" said Mr. Gerald.
"Is it not a hassle?" ask sir Samuel.
"Not at all." Devan replied.
"Are you okay, dear Az?" ask sir Samuel.
"No problem grandpa." replied Az.
"All right, thank you. Please take care of Az and get him home safely" said Mr. Samuel.
"Sure." said Devan who was inwardly cheering happily.
"Grandpa go first Az dear. Grandpa will call when grandfather has arrived in country H." said Mr. Samuel then briefly peeked Az's forehead.
Samuel shook hands one by one and left.
