Chapter 10 Underground monsters

It has been 3 days and Audrey is still unconscious too, Isabella has not gone to the guild for 3 days even she has not let go of her disguise.

"Good day, sir," greeted the healers as they opened their room doors.

Isabela forgot if she called the doctor to check on Audrey, I hope Audrey is okay.

"Please enter the doctor, please check the situation of my sister," said Isabella invited the healer to sit on the edge of the bed Audrey.

The healer nodded then began to examine Audrey, Isabella how many times saw her frown inexplicably.

He fainted from exhaustion and pain, how many more days it took him to wake up."

Isabella was shocked to hear what the healer had said, so all along her guess was that something was wrong that day when this little jaguar was drugged. He would not have expected that if Aretha were to be this cruel, he was caressing her in an invisible manner of torture.

After being satisfied nagging Isabella, the doctor left not to forget he left the prescription drug for Audrey. 

"Did you hear that? Audrey was tortured during your fainting spell, which is why she hasn't regained consciousness. I won't blame you for any of this, because I will avenge Aretha's actions against Audrey" Isabella told the little jaguar.

Jaguar was still not excited even more moody when Isabella did not blame him, maybe he felt he had failed because he could not protect Audrey. In retrospect Isabella had not given this little jaguar a name, nor could she call him the little jaguar for good.

"Little jaguar, do you want a name?" ask Isabella. He looked at Isabella with sparkling eyes.

"What if your name's Mariot?" ask Isabella again. Instead of being happy, this little jaguar was instead looking at him with a flat gaze.

Isabella could guess if the little jaguar did not like the name she gave, But she did not know what name was suitable for the animal, Isabella would think about it later. Today he had to go to the guild first otherwise he would run out of money in the near future.

"alright. You come with me, let Audrey be taken care of by the innkeeper" Isaebla said as she walked out of Audrey's room.

In the rabbit guild there was a huge commotion, there was a little boy who made a no-pay request for the mercenary knights. Even March did not know what to do about it, as no mercenary knight would take the mission.

"I beg everyone to help our village. The underground monsters attacked our village, please have mercy on us," the girl asked. However, it was ignored by all the mercenary knights.

"Son, you're not a child of the Black Stone City it's hard for us to agree to your request let alone without payment, so please don't trouble us" March asked the girl.

"Mr March, I've come on a mission. Wallet su …. Akh!" Isabella's words were cut off as the girl lunged towards her.

"Hey son, are you a tiger? why are you lunging at me? it's very dangerous for you" said Isabella, who nearly fell if she didn't catch the girl quickly.

"You want to take the mission, right? take this mission! please," said the girl, giving Isabella a piece of paper forcibly.

Seeing the girl cry, Isabella felt very hurt. He read the contents of the girl's request paper and he brought the paper to March.

"I'll take this mission," said Isabella, leaving everyone there shocked.

"A-are you sure? even if the underground monster is weaker than the bear monster, but it has a very hard skin, it will be difficult for you to fight it" March replied.

"I'm taking this mission." Isabella remains persistent in wanting to take on that mission.

March had no choice but to agree to it, he inevitably had to let Isabella go because he had no right to forbid it.

Seeing that someone was willing to take his request, the girl felt very happy. After the mission was signed by March, Isabella rushed to the village with the little girl.

They traveled by horse for 3 hours. Arriving at the village, Isabella was surprised to see the state of the village was very chaotic. Many houses collapsed and fires were burning everywhere, not even a single human was seen inside the village.

Just a few steps Isabella's horse entered the village, suddenly something appeared from the ground just below their horse's feet. It made Isabella float with the horse at once. Luckily the jaguar suni caught Isabella's body quickly, so Isabella's body did not hit at all.

"Is sister okay?" ask the little girl who is still on the back of Isabella's jaguar suni.

"Sister is fine," Isabella replied with a small smile on her face, trying to keep the girl calm.

"The monster has appeared, you take this girl to safety and then come back here quickly" whispered Isabella right in the jaguar suni's ear. Suni nodded and ran away from the village with the little girl.

Meanwhile Isabella pulled out her dagger and ran further and further into the village, not too long ago Isabella ran suddenly the ground under her feet shook again and the monster appeared from inside. Isabella who noticed it quickly moved away from there, but unfortunately the tail part of the monster moved faster without her realizing it had hit her body falling to the ground.

Isabella was in pain, but she got up again. As Isabella got up she saw a strange light from the dagger appear again, this time Isabella felt the foreign energy flowing again in her body. That way Isabella can attack underground monsters quickly.

Isabella jumped on the monster's body and then she thrust a dagger into the monster's body. But just as March had said, the skin of this monster was extremely loud and gave off a loud sound like the sound of a sword clashing against a sword.

Knowing that Isabella attacked him from above, the monster directly into the ground and dragged Isabella with him. Isabella tried to hold on to the skin of the monster. But when the monster came out again from the ground, Isabella immediately crashed far away because the handle was released.

Crashed this time, Isabella fell into the rubble of a house that had collapsed. As he tried to get up to attack again, he felt a great pain in his leg. Dab turns out there is a pointy wood with a large size punctured to penetrate the leg of Isabella's thigh, it makes it unable to move a little.
