Chapter 17 The Phil fled

Isabella tried her hardest to maintain her consciousness, 18 minutes had passed. But there was no sign of them coming back, it made Isabla even more agitated. When Isabella's power was completely exhausted, it appeared that some of them ran out of the cave. Isabella smiled happily until she finally fell.

This was Isabella's third incident to fall when the fight ended, and this time it was the same as before. When he realized he was in bed and there were elves waiting in the room.

Aaron excitedly approached Isabella's bed, "Thank God you're conscious, holy race person."

"I'm Aaron, the elf village chief. I'm sorry for Fil's unworthy actions, it's all my fault for not being aware from the beginning that you are a holy race" Aaron said, filled with guilt.

"Who is the holy race? I'm just a human being so you …."

"You don't have to hide your identity anymore. All this time I was not aware that if there was a traitor in my village, if it were not for you then I would never have been able to find those children" Aaron said. He cried because he could not imagine what would happen if the child was not found.

"What's hiding identity, huh? I am just an ordinary human being, where maybe I am a saint race. What is the holy race anyway?"

Aaron is shocked to hear Isabella's question. Then he asked, "Helena used the power of night whispers to deceive all the villagers. The whisper of the night is a force that can make people deaf, you cannot hear certain sounds because of that power. But only the holy race, the suni jaguars, will not be exposed to that power, so you are definitely a holy race because you can hear the voices of children that the elves can't hear."

Isabella was suddenly upset that she was considered an animal. Then Isabella remembered something, she checked her pocket and found Jasper's gem.

"Gem of the holy race? if you're not a holy race what are you not a sunni hunter?" aaron's face turned pale when he saw the jewel. Isabella must admit that the imagination of the elderly on this one is really extraordinary, Isabella until made even more upset by him.

"It belongs to Jasper and Jasper is my brother. He gave this to me as a gift, because I've given him a good name" Isabella explained. Hearing this explanation, Aaron felt relieved.

After talking for a long time, Aaron finally came out of Isabella's room, then some people took turns to enter just give a gift of thanks and apologize. Until the last man came in, Phil.

Fil apologized while crying, he felt very embarrassed, annoyed, and hated himself. He allowed himself to be made a puppet by his own fiancee who turned out to be a criminal. 

"No problem! but just my advice, if this happens again then investigate everything further. Never draw conclusions if the culprit is only one person, because everyone can be a suspect" said Isabella. Fil nodded even to the point of hugging Isabella, promising not to be careless anymore. 

After the incident Helena was hanged along with her conspirators, Isabella understands a little if the kidnapper she met at the inn was not a human but an elf disguised as a human to trick Aaron along with all the villagers.

2 Days later

Isabella finally recovered completely, now she returned to the adventurer guild to ask for a mission. Noe, who is in charge of accepting and giving an apology mission to Isabella, Isabella accepts her apology and takes the mission of cutting wood. Noe does not allow Isabella to take the mission, but Isabella still wants to take it because she wants to see the grandmother again.

And sure enough, Isabella met again with the grandmother and Mira. Mira turns out to be Helena's abductee who was rescued. When Mira returned to her grandmother's house, her senile grandmother even told Isabella's greatness in cutting wood when her grandson had just survived death. But Mira still happy to hear all the stories of the grandmother, he was eager to meet the person who managed to steal his grandmother's heart.

After a month in the village, Isabella became famous as a light-handed man. He helped villagers in the fields, farms, and even trained the children of woodcutters to use the same power as Mira

Isabella also helps Fil in training his fighting skills, although Fil's speed in controlling his elemental powers still cannot keep up with Isabella's dagger speed. But gradually Fil managed to compensate, training with Isabella made him more agile.

It did not feel like 2 months Isabella lived with the elves, now she decided to continue her adventure to the next village.

It felt too heavy for the elven villagers to let Isabella go, they were greatly comforted by her presence. But they also could not hold it for long, because somehow Isabella was an adventurer and the first adventurer human who managed to capture the hearts of all the elves.

Aaron asks Isabella to accept the horse they gave him. But Isabella refused, if he was riding a horse then he was not an adventurer but a person who was traveling. Because the first prize was rejected Aaron replaced the gift with a food supply, and Isabella immediately accepted the gift with pleasure.

"Jaga yourself. Don't forget to visit again," the cries of all the villagers accompanied Isabella's departure.

"Let's go back," asked Aaron to everyone as Isabella's back was nowhere to be seen.

"The village head." A man ran over to the crowd that was about to disperse, "There's bad news."

"What bad news? did Helena rise again from the grave?" aaron asked making himself get a flat look.

"Not that. But Fil ... Fil ran away to follow Mr. Allred," the man replied.

"What?" Aaron was surprised and upset, he would not have expected if his son would be that close. 

"Awas you Fil ..." Aaron cried with a thunderous voice until he left the village.

On the other side Isabella paused for a moment to look at the map of her next destination, there were many villages not far from the elf village. But Isabella instead wanted to visit the walking sand village, the village was a 10-day drive from the elf village. The distance is indeed farther than other villages just that the unique name of the village has managed to attract his attention, he wants to know what kind of village it is. 

Meanwhile Fil kept looking at Isabella from 10 meters away, he was curious to know where Isabella's next destination was. Unfortunately he did not want to take the risk of getting closer, he was afraid Isabella realized his existence and asked him to return to the village. Fil did not want that to happen because he wanted to devote himself to Isabella, and the only way for that to happen was to follow Isabella secretly.
