Chapter 20 Best Acting of Jasper

Isabella's house is celebrating the success of their pastry shop, Audrey cooks a lot of good food while Callix mixes her drinks and Jasper decorates the whole house.

"This second branch will definitely be a success. I can't wait to see what Isabella's reaction will be when she finds out about our plans to open a second branch" Callix said. He was looking forward to Isabella's return.

"But what exactly does Isabella do? he never said anything about himself. As I remember Isabella never left the village and always made a fuss everywhere" said Audrey.

"And you're Jasper. Why do you live here? did that weird guy dump you?" Audrey turned to Jasper, who was busy putting up his decorations.

"Mr Allred won't throw me away. He left me for just a moment with Miss Isabella, after all Mr. Allred is his sister, so for me, being with the master or the lady is the same" replied Jasper.

"I didn't know they were brothers" Audrey said. He was eating a lie from Jasper.

"Open the door!" a man shouted from outside the house while hitting the door hard. 

Jasper prevented Callix from going to see, he wanted to check it out for himself since it was his responsibility to guard this residence.

When Jasper came to the door, there were many armed men outside, and there were Aretha and her concubines among them. All this time Aretha had never seen like in the swallow of the earth and this time there was no wind what he was even until he brought back the entourage, the old grudge Jasper smouldered in his heart when he saw Aretha. He was eager to pounce on Aretha right now.

"Where's Callix? give Callix to me!" shouted a man. From his clothes he looks like a noble.

Hearing his name called Callix immediately ran up to Jasper. Then how surprised Callix when he saw Viscount Elvis coming with his entourage, Isabella did ask Ishina to give her home address to the viscount if the viscount would want to take Callix back. But after such a long time had passed, why would a new viscount appear now? think Callix.

"Give Audrey to me too!" aretha's orders were without shame.

"What is your business with those two people? they belong to Miss Isabella so you have no right to ask me to hand them over. You better go back or accept the consequences" Jasper threatened.

Instead of being afraid, the old man named Elvis laughed. He did not care at all about Jasper's threats, because he knew they were winning numbers.

"You're only three, one is a wild man and the other two are weak men. With our large numbers, what can you do? willing to threaten this great Viscount Elvis, you do not have any veins of shame," Aretha sneered. He took refuge under Elvis.

"You're really looking to die" jasper said. He displayed his sharp nails as a weapon, because previously Isabella had given him a warning not to change to the shape of a jaguar no matter what.

"If you think I'm a weak man, then you're wrong because I'm gonna break all of you're necks." Callix picked up the whip and walked out of the house followed by Jasper.

"Why are you guys even having fun by yourself. At least take me too" said Audrey who came out with her sword.

"Huhah, you want to scare us just by holding a gun?" asked Aretha who was laughing out loud. He thought a weak man like Audrey could not possibly wield a sword in just a short time.

"Don't be afraid of Viscount Elvis. They can only bluff" Aretha told Elvis.

"You're right. Attack them!" elvis' orders to all his subordinates.

The men's troupe of weapons instantly drew their weapons towards Jasper, Callix, and Audrey. And what's going on? a counterattack from the three quickly wiped out a portion of Elvis' entourage.

"Damn! why is he so good? is this because of Isabella?" inner Rion. He could only bite his nails as Aretha looked at Audrey with a sparkling gaze.

"Is this what you're saying they can only bluff? then what is this? basic cheater. You fucking carrier!" Pissed Elvis. He slapped Aretha so hard that blood came out of Aretha's nose.

"Give me!" Elvis snatched the bow from the hand of his subordinates.

"If you can't be mine then don't expect anyone in the world to have you" said Elvis. He drew 3 arrows at once and fired them at Callix.

Audrey and Jasper see the three arrows pointing at Callix, both screaming for Callix to escape. Callix realizes the arrow too late, and he can no longer move from its place.

Callix could only close his eyes and surrender when the distance of the arrow stayed a little more piercing his head. But after a few seconds Callix did not feel anything, he opened his eyes and it turned out that the tip of the arrow stopped right in front of his face. 

Isabella who had just arrived managed to hold the arrow with her hand, looking at Isabella's back in front of her Callix felt so grateful that she shed tears. Isabella saved her life.

"Miss …." Shouted Jasper, Callix, and Audrey. They approached Isabella and showered her with hugs.

"Welcome back" said the three who were covered in tears. Isabella could only laugh at how ridiculous they were. 

Their warm welcome and embrace reminded Isabella of her previous life, the children of her organization used to always welcome Isabella home in the same way.

"It's good you've come home. Restore Callix peacefully or I'll destroy your shop" threatened Elvis. He could not bear to see Callix who was very sticky with Isabella.

"Miss, how is this? my hands hurt so much from swinging the whip since then, I could no longer resist them. Maybe I should turn myself over to the viscount for the sake of our store," said Callix who acted weakly in front of Isabella.

"Basin' a shitty guy! you think you're the only one who can act" Audrey said.

"Yes Miss. We've been around since, lucky you've come back. Otherwise, then my hand could have been broken from holding such a heavy sword since then. I pushed myself too much" whined Audrey. He didn't want to lose to Callix.

"Based on two stupid men. Your acting is so exaggerated, look at me. It's new acting," Jasper's inner.

"Huwa .. Miss nail pain. Lookie! all bloody nails, it hurts." Jasper cried while showing his bloody nails.

"Large liar! clearly it wasn't her blood" Audrey and Callix murmured.

Isabella knew that they were just acting because she had seen how they fought. But Isabella kept asking them to pull over, she would teach Elvis and Aretha a lesson quickly so that she could rest faster as well.

He went on a long journey without rest because he was haunted by feelings of anxiety, he was afraid that something bad had happened in his residence. However, the bad events he feared had happened and this made him even more tired.
