Chapter 48 The Betrayal

The presence of Isabella at the training ground left many knights unable to focus, how could they focus if there was a beautiful woman who did not take her gaze away from them.

The knights prayed that Isabella would leave quickly, otherwise they could be punished for not training properly.

"Miss Isabella, what are you doing here?" ask a knight who came to Isabella. Seeing that the knight was still wearing his armor Isabella could guess if the knight was newly wedded alternating tasks with other knights for lunch break.

Isabella did not answer the question, she stared at the man for a few seconds and then refocused herself on the training field.

"Hey miss!" the man put his hand on Isabella's shoulder, "I'm asking you, you should answer dong."

Isabella brushed off his hand and said, "Since when can the subordinates put their hands at will to their master, you don't realize that you're dirty."

The man had a grudge against Isabella. Therefore, he dared to push Isabella from her seat until she fell to the ground.

"That's punishment for a bad boy. How can anyone call me dirty while you stay under my protection, it's completely disrespectful so you have to accept punishment" the man mocked.

Isabella became very upset then when she was about to wake up, the man stepped on her back so that she could not get up.

The man was very satisfied to see Isabella helpless under his feet. Then with a slight bow the man whispered, "This is the payment for what you did to the woman I love. You know Yulia, she complained about everything you did to her. Don't expect you to get away with what you did, remember! you're a boy that's not recognized by the duke. Even that woman named Vanessa, she's much better than you even if she has low blood at least she's recognized by the duke."

"Selina, please well," asked Isabella, the man had touched the limits of Isabella's patience who was none other than Vanessa, he received insults like whatever it was. But he did not accept if the one in contempt was Vanessa, how could he just shut up when the adorable woman was insulted by a man who did not know himself.

Selina quickly pounced at the man's feet, perhaps he was just a lizard at the moment. But with this form of lizard he can at will make his teeth or toenails become sharp, sharper than a knife.

Feeling that he will not win, the man uses the trick to throw sand on Isabella's face. The knights who saw the trick became annoyed, the man had directly insulted the honor of the knights by using dirty tricks.

"All ways are paved in war and love. Die you!" the man drew his sword right into Isabella's stomach.

"Miss!" the knights shouted as the tip of the sword pointed right at Isabella.

Isabella's hand quickly held the sword, and Isabella made a somersault jump in the air (Salto) then landed well right on the knight's sword.

"Because of you!" whispered Isabella, on the sword he released a propeller kick into the man's head.

Isabella's feet landed smoothly on the ground while the man was knocked far away to unconsciousness, immediately cheers from the knights enlivened the training field.

"Ck! what a noisy voice it is," inner Azar. He woke up from a deep sleep and looked out the window.

"They're too excited." Azar smiled as the knights gathered together and covered the window curtain and went back to sleep, not realizing that Isabella was among the knights.

After dinner, Cedric called Isabella to his study there and Jeremy and the knight who fought with him last afternoon.

Upon seeing Isabella the knight's fury instantly boiled over, he was eager to stab Isabella with his sword in return for the humiliation he received.

"Miss please du …."

"She doesn't deserve to sit down" Cedric interrupted Jeremy's words to let Isabella sit down.

"Now tell me, what did you do in the training ground of the knights?" cedric asked Isabella.

"I? what am I going there for?" Isabella asked as if she knew nothing.

The knight hit the table and stood up and said, "Don't lie, everyone sees you there. Even you use your power as a duke's daughter to hurt me, I don't dare to fight you and accept all your blows it's because you are the daughter of the duke. I don't want to be a traitor by fighting you."

"Oh, do you want to have a show in front of me? how dare you. I'll show you what a charade is," inner Isabella smiled.

Isabella shed tears. Those tears left Cedric, Jeremy, even the knight shocked.

"W-how can I go there? I admit I was a bad woman. But even though I was evil I was still a woman, how could I hurt a mighty knight. It was obviously mustahi," Isabella argued.

"That's right duke, the gate to the knights' dormitory weighs 6 tons and is always closed. How could she open that door?" added Jeremy.

Cedric felt that what Jeremy said made sense. Now that his gaze on the knight had changed, he began to suspect something was wrong with this knight.

"How do you want to explain that door?" cedric asked the knight who was now being alarmed.

"That's .. I don't know because I met the lady when she was inside, she could have asked the other knights to open it" replied the knight. He thought about all the possibilities.

Azar opened the door of Cedric's study, and he entered with some of the knights.

"The man is …." Isabella instantly recognized the face of the man who had attacked and took her blood some time ago.

"Co-commander." The knight was terrified to see Azar.

Azar threw his fist at the knight's face. The look on Azar's face was currently filled with anger, "Shame, you humiliated all of Abraham's knights. Just because of a servant girl you became a traitor by making false accusations against your own employer, where your oath of allegiance to the Abraham family is until you dare to act like this."
