Chapter 21 The messenger from Abraham's residence

Chapter 21

Duke Abraham's Residence.

Jeremy walked with some paper to Cedric's workspace, wanting to pinpoint all the information he had collected over a 5-year search.

"For Jeremy," said Vanessa when they met.

"For Miss Vanessa. Do you need anything?" ask Jeremy kindly.

"Some days you won't see me, has there been a big problem?" 

"Everything's fine. Maybe the duke is a little busy to not be able to see the lady, but the lady does not need to worry because after this the duke will definitely go to see you," Jeremy replied. Vanessa smiles and nods, then lets Jeremy continue his work.

Tok tok tok tok

Jeremy knocks on the door and says, "Jeremy came to see you."

"Come in!" Cedric invited his personal assistant in.

When Jeremy came in, he handed Cedric some of the paper in his hand. Cedric immediately read the contents of the paper for a while and then he burned everything, clearly there was a sense of annoyance implied from his face.

"How could my daughter be that woman with such a reputation, aren't you wrong?" ask the frustrated Cedric on Jeremy.

"I can't go wrong duke. Everyone said he was Baron Ilyas' adopted son who was none other than the elder sister of the duchess. It's possible that the young lady's reputation is bad because she grew up in a bad neighborhood" Jeremy said.

"The handsome male enthusiast, the abuser, and the customer remain in the flower house. How could I consider such a bad boy as my son? I'm going crazy."

"Duke, that's not all. Right now miss has opened a very unique cake shop, no cake in the Irsyad Empire has such a taste, and such a shape."

"really? what's the taste of that cake?"

"I don't know, it's just that many nobles disguised themselves as ordinary people to taste the cake from the lady's shop. But the bad rumors are not far from there either, there are 3 men running the store and they are presumed to be lady concubines."

"What?" Cedric was surprised to even barely faint. He felt like he was going crazy to hear Isabella's bad reputation, and now he felt like he was going to die hearing his daughter had a concubine. There is no family lineage of Abraham a boy having a concubine let alone a daughter.

"You send Azar there, and get as much information as you can about Isabella. If we can get blood from Isabella so we can check her out, "Cedric's orders are approved by Jeremy.

"Penelope, what kind of child you left me. How could he not even look like you or me," Cedric stared at the portrait of former Duchess Abraham.

Azar arrived at the black Stone City a few days ago, after which she headed straight for the village where Isabella lived. Azar asked Isabella's unique cake shop address to the villagers, and when she got there there there was a crowd around the cake shop.

Azar could not see clearly what was happening in front of him until he finally broke through the crowd, then when he was in front of the crowd turned out to be a spectacle of many people was Isabella who was fighting against the rest of Elvis' entourage.

"Do you guys want any more? I won't hesitate to accompany you to play" cried Isabella threatening Elvis with her entourage.

Elvis and Aretha trembled in fear. All this time they knew Isabella was a strong woman. But who would have thought he would be this strong, even he made all of Elvis's troops faint without a trace. Elvis could not attack anymore because there were no more troops left, he brought all the troops from his residence just to grit not to be finished like this.

Isabella walked up to Elvis and grabbed Elvis by the shoulder and said, "If you dare to come again then I will ask my brother Allred the mercenary knight to finish off all your family, remember it's fine! Callix is mine. Let alone saying you want to snatch it even if you dare to glance at it a little, I will chop off your head." 

"alright. I'm sorry, I won't dare anymore." Elvis cried even to the point of urinating in his pants because of the tremendous pain on his shoulders.

Isabella takes her grip off Elvis and lets Elvis go with her entourage, but Isabella turns to Aretha.

"You ... how dare you to me. All this time I've been kind to you, if you dare again then just wait and see I'll make you live on the streets as a beggar and then sell your concubines to the slave market," threaten Isabella with a creepy grin.

Aretha could only nod under Isabella's pressure, after which she left with her concubines.

"What'sthis? in-she's Isabella? that pressure and strength I can only feel from the duke and now I feel it from that useless girl? unmistakably, he was indeed the son of the duke, "inner Azar who swallowed his saliva. 

After that Azar saw there were 3 men approaching Isabella even hugged her tightly, Azar thought it was the three concubines Isabella said by Jeremy. Not long after Isabella came to the crowd and apologized for the commotion that occurred because of it, he was so friendly that Azar could not believe if he was really Isabella who was rumored.

The crowd dispersed quickly, they returned home and carried out their respective activities. Except for Azar, he was still monitoring Isabella's residence from a distance. He would love to go inside, but that might not be a good option. If he wants to get Isabella's blood then he has to wait until tomorrow.

"I'm going to go get rid of the trash" Jasper told Isabella.

He brought the trash bag out of the house. And when Jasper had just set foot on the ground, his animal instincts instantly sensed that someone was spying on Isabella's residence from somewhere.

Unfortunately he does not know the whereabouts of the person, but Jasper will not be silent if there is danger lurking Isabella's residence.  He uses the power of his eyes to search for someone without having to see them directly.

While on the other hand Azar felt very depressed like there were thousands of ferocious beasts staring at him, but with the current height of Azar he could guess where the great pressure came from.

"He doesn't know where I am. But he could send this much pressure to look for me, it turned out that the concubine of the useless girl was no ordinary man. I'm getting challenged because of it, it's been a while since I've never felt anything as exciting as today" Azar murmured with a scary grin. His curiosity about Isabella is becoming more and more so, this is the reason Cedric asked him to do the investigation because Azar has a curiosity can make him crazy.
