There was regret in him, though,. If he has to choose. But he never had a desire for it. As Sheza ignored him, there was a desire to let go. But when Sheza came back and showed her concern, why did she become a wreck.
Now he can only allude to himself, why get caught up in a game between two hearts. Wanted to bring her happiness, but made both of them cry. How will he be held accountable before his Soul Owner.
On the stretch of road, Najib now carries his car speeding through the darkness of the night. Sometimes he looked at the woman who fell asleep by holding her little daughter. The woman who, for some days, has always missed her presence.
"Aina, I'm sorry. Has brought you into a situation you never wanted."His mind whispered softly. Words he could never say again. Because his lips spoke so often. Perhaps, it was already very sickening to be heard again for the woman who was so patient with herself and her daughter.
Shortly after parking the car in front of the apartment, he looked at the face so calmly enjoying his dream. His finger gently touched the cheek of the owner of a part of his heart that had been 6 divided.
"Darling, we're there."
Then the eyes opened. His glare, made himself full.
"Mas Najib."
Whose heart does not warm, when it hears its name called by the owner of the heart.
"Alhamdulillah, it has arrived" he said. His eyes were closed for a while adjusting to the existing lighting.
Najib lifts Iza from his lap, letting Aina out of the car freely. He only returned it again after Aina was already outside with full consciousness. He then caught up with her and locked her car.
"Finally, I'm back. You don't mind, do you?"
"Darling, what the fuck. I once kicked you out. I really hope you never get out of my house."
"Bringed like a prison, dong."
"It could be, honey. Already, we're up, yuk!"
The exhausting journey, made the two reluctant to talk.
Without a lot of words, they stepped together through security and down the hall until they reached the elevator door that delivered to their residence. Although he was tired, Najib felt unbearable for Aina who was carrying Iza who was asleep by leaning her head on his shoulder.
"Let me take Iza." She immediately grabbed the petite body that was twitching spoiled in Aina's arms. His eyes were still closed even though his body had now moved into his carrier.
Arriving at the apartment door, Najib found it difficult to reach for the card to open the door of his apartment.
"Please, get the card in Mas' pocket."
Aina's lips immediately throbbed, glancing at Najib at a glance, between anger and liking, plus annoyance.
"Modus" he said ketus which made Najib immediately chuckle. Although lazily, still Aina's hand reached into her husband's pants pocket.
Aina's smile expanded perfectly, her eyes sparkling perfectly when she had entered the house she had left three days ago. It's only been three days, but it's been months.
"From tomorrow, there is art for you" Najib said, laying his daughter down.
"Why is that. Household business I can do it myself, Mas."
"I don't want anything with this one here. Our baby candidates."
Najib hugged her from behind. His hands fumbled Aina's stomach which still looked flat, and occasionally shrunk Aina's head gently.
"Thank you, Mom."
"That's dong. I realized, your task is very heavy, carrying my baby everywhere. I just imagine not being able to."
"One more thing to remember.Don't ever think of being away from me again. I want to be there for him."
"Only for her, is it?"
"Of course, with the woman who made him there. The prettiest, sweetest woman who has always been there for Mas." whispered Najib in the ear of the woman who is now in his arms.
Can he now be happy, hearing a soft whisper in his ear from someone who makes him know the meaning of longing. And also make the prospective baby is not calm.
Eating bad, sleeping can not be calm. Of course he does not want to linger tormented. Something he wants to protect. If not for him, at least he does not want to take the right of his baby to be close to his future father.
"Sheza's sister, Mas kemanakan?"
Najib was silent. What he should say. He wanted to forget it, but his mind was always whispering, it was difficult and impossible. Sheza had intended to change, and she couldn't have hurt Arya, someone who meant anything in her life.
Several times, he took a deep breath and let out a sigh of relief, so that the tightness that was squeezing his chest at this time could unravel, along with his breath and the words that came out of his lips.
"He has a right to self, Mommy."
Although I had expected the answer later that would come out of her husband's lips, but still felt pain in the heart, like an indiscriminate scratch. His mind is really hurt.
He further tightened their hand links, and more and more entered his deck. He let one clear grain slip from his eyes.
He was well aware that he had come back for the sake of his future son, not wanting to expect anything from Najib, even though he was entitled to it.
"Don't forget us, Pa." she replied in a no less gentle tone to seduce.
"Not going" he whispered straight into the ear of the woman now in her arms.
It felt reluctant to let go of his embrace at this moment. But all of that should end when Iza sees me wriggling uneasily. His eyelids suddenly opened, staring at them with glare.
"Mrs ...." Feeling called, Aina approached him.
"Mama's here, honey."
"Mom don't go, yeah."
" No.Sleep, honey."Aina rubbed her back gently.
As soon as Aina had embraced him, she closed her eyes perfectly again. He curled up in Aina's arms, the most comfortable place he hadn't seen for three days.
Najib smiles. He looked at them for a moment before stepping away, leaving the two who were sleeping while hugging.
After being sure that she would not wake up again, Aina got out of bed, following Najib first to their room.
He was stunned as he entered their room. She found her husband standing on a prayer mat, praying solemnly.
Aina immediately removed the hijab, and headed to the bathroom. When he came out, he saw Najib was still in the same state.
For a moment she waited sitting at her dressing table, face to face in hand.
After perfectly making a design marked with greetings, she looked at Aina.
"Why bengong. Don't wanna come."
"Yes, Mas. Wait for Aina for a second!"
