Chapter 26
Carl always comes home in the middle of the night and leaves early in the morning, making Amber swiftly always prepare Carl's needs, Carl, he wouldn't sleep if Carl hadn't come home and Amber would have prepared dinner even though Carl would sometimes protest because he had dinner outside, as he is today. “I've told you how many times baby, sleep, don't wait for me to come home, you're tired in the hospital and I don't want your sleep time to be disturbed too,” grumbled Carl, even though he does not like to see Amber who is always sad because she awaits him, Carl still eats Amber cuisine.
Now they are at the dinner table, Carl feels guilty if he has come home this late, only a few times he came home early, but lately he has spent more on the set. “Don't overdo Carl, I'm in the hospital just sitting and looking after Earl,” Amber replied, he gave Carl a glass of water. “I can't wait another 2 days Earl can go home, we only go to the hospital a few times a month,” kekeh Amber.
For almost a month now, Amber's getting pretty used to Carl, they've been getting closer and not awkward back. Although Carl was busy he always took the time to contact Amber via vidio call and follow Earl. “Yes dear, mom is already very much waiting for Earl. Next week I have a shoot in London, just a few days, I hope you and Earl can come with me,” said Carl, now he is staring at the focus towards Amber.
“I will go wherever you go,” replied Amber making Carl's smile more fluffy. Carl was also seen draining the white water.
“Now we better sleep, I'll ask permission for the day after tomorrow.”
“Can I ask for such sudden permission?” ask Amber.
Carl nodded his head quickly. “Of course you can. I work for the Earl from now on, and everything that hugs the Earl is number one for me,” Carl replied firmly. They finished the conversation and went into the room. Tonight as usual, Carl hugs Amber and they sleep well.
The day that awaited arrived, today they and Carl's extended family joined in to pick up the Earl's return. They all gather at Richard's house, they all talk and eat together, Earl plays with Alicia and Richard, while Amber and Carl gather with Valerie and Ken. "Are you guys moving house?" Ask Valerie.
Carl shook his head, "Me and Amber felt in the apartment was enough for the three of us" Carl replied. "I actually wanted to move, but my independent wife always rejected the plan," Carl chuckles as Amber tries to keep her smile from showing up.
"I just don't feel comfortable if the house is too big while Carl starts to get busy back with his work. I was just alone with Earl, and inside the apartment was more comfortable," Amber replied with a chuckle.
Hearing that the look on Valerie's face was immediately excited, she nodded her head quickly. "That's right! Sometimes I feel bored just alone at home, yes even though there are some servants, but there is still a sense of boredom. I think the house I live in is too big now" Valerie said.
Ken quickly removed his head. "No dear, the house is very fitting, we will have many children later" protested Ken. "There's no way we're letting this little guy go without a friend" continued while stroking Valerie's flat stomach.
They all laughed at that, Amber turned her head to look for Earl, Amber's smile grew, and there the Earl was laughing with Alicia Richard and Agatha.
"Oh yeah Carl. Jeff will be holding a bachelorette release in London next week, isn't he in London? Will you attend the show?" Ask Ken.
Carl nodded his head, "Of course, I'll bring Amber, will you come?" ask Carl.
"That's the problem, I have to go to Paris next week, it looks like I'm not coming" Ken replied.
"Hi! Sorry we're late" Justin shouted as he walked into the family room, distracting everyone inside.
Richard sounded softly. "Can't your voice slow down a little? You surprise me!" Fizz Richard. Without realizing it all immediately complained, if the two had met, there would definitely be a small quarrel that would occur. Trust me, Justin and Richard never get along.
