The Story Of Amber

The Story Of Amber
Minding 2

Amber glanced at the clock and coiled in her hand, her heart pounding as she felt it was time for Amber and Carl to talk again. "Well kids, before I close this lesson, is there anything you want to ask me?" Ask Amber. But the answer is still the same as before, they too to quickly finish and do not want to ask many more questions.

Amber walked out of the classroom, where she stared at the sight that made her smile. Earl seems so familiar with Carl, he plays with robots and a new car, while Carl seems happy to record all Earl's activities. "Let's go back home, I'll cook you lunch" said Amber, making the two men turn their heads.

Carl helps Amber tidy up the toy and returns it to the box as before. They also walked back home together. "You can play in Earl's special room, I'll cook, '" Amber said. Carl just nodded his head in understanding, enjoying Amber's yard more as they entered it.

Amber opens the door, and Amber shows Carl where Earl's playroom is. "Then I'll cook first" said Amber, then turned and left Carl and Earl.

Carl looks around the playroom, Carl is sure that if Earl grows up this room will turn into a music room. "Who is this?" Carl asked, pointing to a picture of two children standing with a smile.

"She's Angel, so pretty, isn't she?"

"Yes, that's pretty. Why don't you play with him?"

Earl shook his head, he walked over to Carl. "He's gone back uncle, next year you should be here to see him."

"Well, according to your request I will visit here very often" said Carl.

"Oh yes uncle, do you have a cell phone?" Ask Earl.

"Of course, what's up?"

"I want to call Angel, can I borrow it?" Ask Earl.

Carl pulls out his cell phone and gives it to Earl. "You have Angel's number?" Carl asked confusedly.

"Of course," chuckled Earl. He ran with Carl's phone and picked up a small book in his drawer. It was obvious that Earl was copying the number he had written to his mobile phone.

"Earl, then I'll see Mom for a second" whispered Carl quietly. He came out of the playroom and looked for the kitchen.

Carl entered slowly, he walked up to Amber who was cutting some vegetables. "Jeez Carl, you're surprising me!" Screeched Amber.

"Earl is in a hurry to contact his friend. Why don't you give him a cell phone?" Ask Carl.

Amber seemed to breathe out slowly, she shook her head. "I don't think Earl needs to have his own cell phone for now, maybe I'll give it to him by the time he's 13" Amber explained.

Carl just nodded slowly, his eyes down Amber's face which Carl thought was getting more beautiful. "You match your new hair color" Carl murmured.

"Thank you, but I miss my real hair color" she said.

"I miss you too" Carl chuckled Amber turned her head and laughed softly.

"God, you are" said Amber. "What do you miss about me?" Tanya Amber ventured.

"Everything, I miss when we get married, I see you in the morning, we play with the little Earl, have dinner together, every night you hug me—"

"No, you're the one who hugged me!" Amber's protest made the two laugh.

"Yes, well, every night you hug me, and every time you watch me cook I hug you from behind, your shoulders are my most comfortable place" said Carl, who now began to resemble a whisper. Amber stopped her cutting activity, she looked at Carl who was now looking at her longing. "I miss you, every night I'm haunted by my stupidity that let you go to the park that morning, if that morning I didn't go back to sleep and be near you continue—"

"Carl, we're never going to talk about the past, are we? I was always in the haunt of guilt yang—" Amber said stopped when Carl suddenly brought his face closer, the lips silenced Amber's voice. His heart was pounding erratically, a subtle sigh he began to feel throughout his body.
