Carl, who was fed up of rough clucking, ran slightly to hold Amber's body and release Amanda's hand, Carl put Amber to take shelter behind his body. "You're the one who's gone crazy Amanda? Isn't this too much for Amber? You forbid Amber to be with me, even though Amber told me she loved me! Amber should have the right to hate me, not you" Carl protested. Sean clenched his hand, and saw firsthand how Amber was sheltering behind Carl. But his mind was distracted when Amanda spoke.
"But I hate you more! You took the happiness of the people I love!" Shouted Amanda loudly. It was like this rebelled and his face looked at Carl full of vengeance, Sean who saw it approaching Amanda, he tried to calm Amanda quickly.
"What's up Amanda?" Sean asked confusedly.
"People? Have I ever done you wrong?" Ask Carl who is no less confused than Sean.
Amanda smiled wryly, she let go of Sean's hand that was holding her body, her eyes staring hatefully at Carl. "Little people like me you'll never remember" he murmured softly, yet vengefully.
The three people who were there frowned confusedly, they looked at Amanda with big question marks, what was the meaning of Amanda's words? "What have I ever done Amanda?" murmured Carl slowly. "And what made you forbid Amber to be with me? I can make him happy, I love him and I want to take Amber as well Earl!"
Amanda shook her head, "If Amber dares to be with you back, I won't forgive her, I'd rather lose a stupid best friend for choosing an irresponsible man like yourself. And Earl I won't let you take him."
"Amanda, I'm really sorry, I apologized and got my karma. I love Amber, I beg you to let us be together, "please Carl, he lowered his voice and looked at Amanda with a sad look. "I'm responsible for my son, Earl."
"I can't believe your words are as bad as you are, you're the most cowardly man I've ever met! You're not responsible for the two people I love. Do you remember 7 years ago? When you get drunk and drive a car? You hit a schoolboy and that's my sister!" snapped Amanda, Amber's body stiffened, she stared at Carl's body as much as hers. "And how surprised I was to find out that even Amber was ruined because of you. You should hate yourself, Carl, do you deserve to live after making people suffer for you?"
"Yes! You remember that, don't you? What you gave $50,000 dollars for his treatment, you know it's not enough money to get his leg back, he lost one leg! And do you know how happy I was when I found out you were in an accident? You're paralyzed! You feel what my sister feels! But the world always stands with you, you have money and you're paralyzed for a while, sometimes I don't understand why you still get a chance to live with that big accident? People like you don't deserve happiness! You don't deserve to walk anymore and you don't deserve to be a father!" amanda's weak hand hits Carl's belly, Amanda cries, she sobs. Sean who never knew before was sitting next to Amanda, he rubbed Amanda's shoulder slowly as if giving strength.
Carl shook his head quickly. He knelt down and touched Amanda's shoulder, "No Amanda, that's not true, I've asked someone to handle your sister, I've told her to treat the girl until she recovers."
"But in reality you only gave $50,000 to finish it all! You think money can buy the happiness you took from my sister!" snapped Amanda.
"You better get out of here first, let's just calm down and you can come back when things start to get better" Sean said.
"Go and Amber, too, if you're stupid enough to go on with a guy like that!" Shouted Amanda.
Carl turned his head to look at Amber who looked glassy, he shook his head slowly, walking to hug Amanda. Before long, Amber let go of her embrace, her red face holding back tears. "Carl—" he mumbled slowly. "I'm too confused to make a decision, I need time" Amber said slowly.
"Amber, believe me I'll come back and finish everything I've done" Carl said confidently, clenching his hands tightly, he got in the car and had to get back to Los Angeles, find out what really happened after the accident.
