The Warm Home

The Warm Home
Chapter 12's

Suddenly the door opened. A doctor and behind him 2 sisters came in to greet the boy who was lying limp.

"Raka, how are you doing today?" Ask the doctor. The one asked answered nothing. His eyes looked at the ceiling of the room with a blank look.

"Hi, Brian." Hans said hello to the doctor.

The doctor turned his head and was surprised to see the man who greeted him.

"You, Hans?! The goodness! I really don't recognize you. Your appearance is a mess. Why are you here?" Speak at length.

"I know him." . The doctor nodded and went back to paying attention to his little patient.

"It looks like you haven't eaten. There is a delicious corn soup. Eat until it's finished, so as not to limp again."

"What about my grandmother? Was he buried properly?" Suddenly asked.

The doctor and the 2 sisters were surprised by his question. They looked at each other, confused as to what to answer.

"Hhhmmm Raka, they don't know because it's not her job. Better, you eat-"

"No!!" Raka snapped, not liking the answer. He wanted to confirm the whereabouts of his grandmother's body. With all his might, he tried to get up. I was tired of lying down for days.

"I want to make sure my grandmother is properly buried! No previous AUTOPSY."

Everyone who was in the room immediately stiffly heard his stern words. The doctor was silent, he did not know about his grandmother. Finally, Hans told his friend to get out.

"Let this be my business." Hans.

Finally, they came out. Hans and Raka are both. The atmosphere in the room was very quiet and tense. Nobody starts talking.

"Raka, when are you going to be this quiet? Let's eat the soup, yeah. Yeah "persuade him.

"alright. But, after eating I want to do something I want to." He said while holding the bowl of soup.

Hans was silent for a moment then asked. "Okay, what do you want to do? I'll keep you company."

"I want to cook this corn soup. My grandmother hadn't eaten it in a long time. Grandma would be happy if I made it for her." Raka said with a trembling voice. Her tears flowed again.

"Raka... Your ne-grandmother... Hmmm ....." Hans wanted to say "nothing already" but it felt heavy. He could not see it destroyed.

"How about I go find grandma. From yesterday, I didn't see it. Hans accompanied me-"

Grep's!

Hans couldn't bear to hear it, he still couldn't accept that his grandmother was gone forever.

"Your grandmother is away alone in the flower garden. He wants to calm his heart and mind. Now, Raka has to be independent huh... You don't want to see him exhausted." Hans hugged her tightly for the boy to calm down.

The boy shook his head, he revolted wanting to get out of the room to meet his grandmother.

"Your grandmother is gone, Raka." Hans said while looking at her eyes. Finally, her crying broke.

He screamed and cried to his grandmother. The bowl he had been holding fell down. Soup spilled everywhere.

"Why should I stay alone?! Why don't I just go with him? All this time, Grandma never left me alone!"

Out of nowhere, he continued to rebel until the infusion attached to his hand came off.

Brak!

Two doctors came in and a nurse came in. They tried to calm the raging boy. Finally, one of the doctors injected the anesthetic.

Raka fell asleep instantly but, her breathing was irregular. He was like a man with a lack of oxygen. The nurses handled it immediately. Before long, the boy was done. His clothes have been changed, as well as his sheets, pillows and blankets replaced with new ones.

After that, they came out.

But, had not been out, Hans called the doctor who had injected the drug. Then, the doctor hinted at the others to come out.

"Has the doctor changed? Isn't Raka Brian's patient?" Ask Hans.

The doctor smiled and replied.

"Yes, it's been changed. Now, we're in charge of caring for this little patient."

"I'm sorry, may-know-" just wanted to ask again, the doctor cut the conversation.

"Is that Mr George? Oh, it's possible that the news has been spread all the way there. So Mr. George paid special doctors and nurses to take care of Raka. Ah, it's better that I rest too. While he was still sleeping. Hopefully after this his heart feels better." He said inwardly while watching Raka who was sleeping soundly.

Then he walked to the sofa in the room and before long, he fell asleep.

A week later...

"How are you doing now, Raka?" Ask a doctor.

The boy looked healthier than before. He was calmer even though he was still crying at night.

"I feel... Healthful. My body doesn't limp anymore. But, I can't sleep well." Evidently

The doctor just smiled.

Later, he gives Raka an empty notebook and a pen.

The boy accepted and then started writing. The doctor saw him astonished. Raka smiled cynically at him and raised her eyebrows next to him.

"You told me to write down my feelings right? Usually, that's. Yes indeed, I find it difficult to say it directly. So I just write it down."

His hands move very smoothly. Not like a child in general. He was like a grown man writing. The writing is very nice, neat and clearly legible.

It does not feel like he has 3 pieces of writing.

Sometimes, his hands trembled withstanding the sadness in his heart.

The doctor faithfully accompanied him. He noticed his face when he wrote. Smiling, moody and angry all that can not be separated from his monitor.

"It's done. Don't ask me again. If the police or the investigator comes, just give me my writing. I've written in Detail and Clear. Thank you for taking the time for me. Now I want to be alone. Oh, greetings to that 'someone you respect', yaa. I'm so grateful for his kindness."

After saying that, he lay down and closed his eyes. Then a soft snoring sounded as if he was asleep.

The doctor and the nurse stared at each other. Then they came out.

Before long, Hans came with a large backpack. He went in and saw Raka who was asleep.

"Hmm? Is he still sleeping at this hour? Have you eaten or not? Luckily I bought some bread." Mumbled.

"I smell good. Bread." Said Raka suddenly. Hans surprised. "It turns out this kid just pretended to be asleep." Inner .

"It's very difficult to sleep. Do I need to take sleeping pills first?"

"Don't calm yourself enough. Don't rely on drugs." Hans said as he thrust out a piece of bread.

"But..... That man was always in my dreams. He didn't do anything. Just looking at me from far away. His gaze was sharp and horrible. His hands are clenched strong. His sturdy body was burning but strangely, he did not feel any pain."

Hans nodded while closing his eyes. Then, throw away the blank paper and pencil. Raka is not poking. It is even sweet with its bread.

"So I wrote 3 pages. Now I ask you to draw. No! My hands are sore."

Hans did not give up, he continued to persuade the boy to draw it. Hans was really curious about the figure mentioned earlier.

Finally Raka wanted to but,

"There's a condition."

"Okay, don't be that hard.." He was afraid that Raka was asking for something strange.

"Today, I don't care when. Must home. I got tired of sitting and lying down. I was like a paralytic for a long time." His grunt.

"alright... Then go home with me.."

Raka squinted her eyes. Hans smiled hoping he would agree. Then the boy nodded.

"Ok, agreed."

Hans talks to the doctor who treats Raka, and the doctor allows him to.

"bitch. You're allowed to go home." Hans walked into his room and delivered the happy news. Raka greeted him with a smile while thrusting out the results of his image.

"Then I have to pack up."
