The Warm Home

The Warm Home
Season 2 Chapter 19

The month of December arrives and the awaited thing comes. Snowy season.

The servants greeted happily. There were some of them who went home, because they lived not so far from the mansion. Some remained in the mansion because the city where they lived was very far away.

The servants who did not come home, were preoccupied with cleaning the entire room in the mansion. There are also busy in the kitchen checking food ingredients, making a variety of delicious cakes and much more.

Raka and Raphael did not want to miss the fun moment. They play in a park covered by snow. They make snow houses, snow dolls and even snow pools.

Of course accompanied by a waiter who also likes to play. In fact, he was only told to accompany them, not to play but, he was cool to play as well.

"We'll just whip it at Grandpa." Raka said jokingly.

"Don't, pity him. Never mind... The important thing is, Nicholas stays close to us." Sahut Raphael disagreed.

"I can't wait for the night. The snow at night will look more beautiful. We'll go upstairs tonight." Raphael thought for a while, instead of being afraid of being angry with George, he was not a cold person like Raka.

If Raka on the contrary, not resistant to heat. Therefore, he avoids drinking or eating the warm. No matter the rainy season or snow, he still drinks or eats cold.

One day he drank cold chocolate when snow was falling and the weather was very cold.

Instead of being cold, he enjoyed the ice cream. The servants who saw him shook in disbelief. Until Nicholas called him Mr. Ice.

"Just calm... I have a lot of thick clothes for you. Just wear.... Hhmmm". Raka noticed Raphael's body getting taller even though it was only 3CM.

He was often annoyed with his short body. Especially if you want to take things. Have to call the waiter or not, look for a high chair.

"When can I be tall, huh,?! Huuh I don't want to keep short. I want to be tall like Uncle Hans." His grunt.

"Raka, you still.... Small-time. Um! I mean 6 years old. I'm sure 10 years later, you'll be a tall, burly man. Not small like this keep. It's all time." Raphael was very careful to say it because he knew Raka did not like to be considered a child.

"If you want, I'll tell Grandpa to find a special professional athlete." Raka shakes. He did not want to add to his schedule. Now it is full enough (in his opinion)

"Ohya! You know what date you were born and what city?" Ask Raka suddenly.

"Say Grandpa, I was born on May 5th, 1978. In England. That you?". Raka seemed to think for a while then she walked towards her study table and opened her drawer. He took out a paper with information about himself.

"Still unknown. Lookie! not listed here. Haaah bad luck being the kid who was dumped hahahaha." He said while laughing. His laughter contained deep sadness.

Although he looks strong, he is still a child who really wants to be loved by his own parents. A pity.... That he won't get. He was dumped by his parents for whatever reason.

He once asked his grandfather what it was like to be loved by his parents. George speechless.... It's very difficult to answer. Finally she cried while hugging her poor granddaughter.

Raka did not give up, she asked her servant. But Nicholas just said "extraordinary." After that, he cried sobbing. The curious boy decided not to ask again. He also removed the question from his mind by busying himself.

"Even though we are banished, there is still someone who will accept us and love us." Raphael said with a smile. But not with her heart crying. He has never felt the love of his parents.

"If according to brother, what makes our parents hate us?" Ask the curious Raka. Raphael sighed harshly. His chest felt tight, in fact he did not want to discuss this. But he was also curious. What made his parents hate him to throw him away.

"I once read a fictional story about a wasted child. He was dumped by his parents because they could not support him. His father worked as a cashier, and his mother worked as a shopkeeper. Their salary is not enough to meet their daily needs. So they dumped their son in front of the orphanage." He answered while trying to calm down.

Raka was silent, she closed her eyes and frowned. Seemed to think hard.

"Raka, we'll find out someday. For now, this is nothing to think about. There will be a time when all the questions in our minds will be answered. Come on, let's get some clothes ready to see the snow tonight." Raphael already could not bear the feeling that cut his heart.

"Sorry that makes you uncomfortable."

"It's okay. I'm also curious, but it's too painful to know the truth. So, it is better not to know. What matters is that our lives are safe here."

Finally, they were busy preparing clothes that would be worn later tonight. Raphael was surprised to see the clothes that Raka would wear later tonight. Light brown long t-shirt and black trousers. He did not prepare a coat to deal with the cold weather at night.

"I won't be cold. Enough with the warm chocolate." Said relaxed.

"When you get sick, how? He said he wanted to meet with my parents (raised). Don't do this, Raka. Wear my gloves or my knit scarf. It's not too thick." Her trickle. Finally Raka received the glove.

"We must maintain health in order to enjoy the moments of the end of the year. Ohya! We haven't made a big igloo house either."

"Why are you so excited? I got tired of playing in the snow. I just want to look at her." Slowly lightly. Raphael was stunned to hear the statement. "Bored?!" Mumbled.

"Hahahhh! Bizarrely. Yes, I did, I did it myself. Waitaminute! He hasn't taken back his clothes. The raka!" It turned out that he was working for the boy to tidy up the clothes he had taken out earlier.

"Zack, is grandpa still working?" Raka asked when she met Zack who was carrying a tray containing a bowl of fruit.

"No, just look at the financial statements of the month yesterday."

"When is grandpa off?" Ask curiously. Zack just shook his head slowly. When he reached George's door, Raka opened it.

He was surprised to find Jonathan sitting on the sofa and his grandfather standing tidying up his flowers by the window.

"Did it wither?" Tanya Raka approached her Grandfather. George nodded slowly. Sadness from his face. His hand was suddenly pulled softly by Jonathan and the man shook his head slowly. Raka certainly understood the meaning. He left his grandfather busy with flowers.

"You're not on holiday?" Tanya Raka broke the silence. The grown man just chuckled. It was nice to see that smart boy again.

"Holiday but later. ." Respond politely. Then Zack placed the dish in the bowl on the glass table in the room.

"Thank you." Jonathan seemed to be enjoying the piece of fruit.

"When is the company on holiday?" Ask Raka. Jonathan glanced at it for a moment.

"Tomorrow 15th." The answer.

"Is Mr Axello coming here?" Ask again in a little whisper. Jonathan nodded.

"Still curious about Mr Axello?" He asked who was sitting next to the boy.

"of course. I'd really like to meet the owner of that big company." Jonathan smiled as he held back his laughter.

"He's not a friendly person with someone he just met." Raka just nodded. He did not look scared, but was even more curious.

"Prepare mentally, Mr. Raka if you want to meet my son." George's resolute voice surprised the two of them who were busy chatting while whispering.

"There's no need to be angry. If you can't meet, it doesn't matter." George glared at the voice of his grandson.

"Hey, bad bunny. If you want to ask something, no need to whisper. Since when do you like whispers?"

Raka glared not to accept with that nickname.

"So I saw my grandfather was sad, so I whispered. So as not to disturb."

"There's an answer, this kid. Where's the cake you promised."

"When will I promise you to make this master a cake?"

Zack and Jonathan tried to keep their mouths shut so they wouldn't laugh. "How dare his grandson this one" Jonathan said in his heart.

Zack was used to fighting between his grandfather and his grandson. Indeed, this is one of the things that made George closer to his grandson. Grandpa and granddaughter are often arguing but, not seriously. Just a joke, even if it doesn't look like a joke.

George has changed a lot since the arrival of Raphael and Raka. He was no longer sickly because he was sad to lose half his life, his wife. He also did not daydream and stared blankly at the flowers in his room.

"That's it if you don't remember. Out there. Mr. Pikun." Dismissed.

"I've remembered it. It was just a joke." His protest.

"Yes, go to the kitchen and make a large amount of cake. Many guests will be there later." Raka glared in disbelief which she just heard.

"I'll make it special for you, as long as I don't forget that I need the money." After that, he came out laughing.

Jonathan, who could not stand it, finally laughed but not for long because George was looking at him sharply.

"Excuse me for retreating. I will continue this work in the office." He said as he hurried to tidy up his things and then he came out.
