The Warm Home

The Warm Home
Chapter 9's

"Well, the shop's crowded, yeah. Grandma must be busy. Go home ah. Back again." Raka who initially wanted to have lunch with her grandmother, not so because the store is still a lot of customers. The end of the year has been very busy for Lynn. Many people order cookies and brownies. Even though there are 4 employees, it is still overwhelmed.

Raka is eager to help but, Lynn forbids it. "You just play. Enjoy your childhood. Take this money. Grandma's set aside for you to buy food." So said.

"Pooch. Where should I go. I don't want to read a book. I made a pudding and cleaned the kitchen. After that, sit and wait for Grandma. Huuuhh was bored" his grunts while lying near the lake.

"Rakaaa" a woman called him. He recognized the voice and immediately looked.

"Miss Elsa's. Long time no see." Raka stood up to him.

"What are you doing here alone?" Ask him kindly..

"Waiting for night." Answer's origin.

The girl chuckled. He knew the boy in front of him was bored. "What if I accompany you at home? We can talk all over."

Raka thought for a while then nodded in agreement. "Come, accompany me home." He woke up and the road preceded him.

Soon, they arrived. Raka opened the door. Elsa was amazed by the house. Although it was small and old, the house remained neat and clean.

"It seems you are diligent in cleaning it. Hhm... Fragrant lemon." Elsa was really comfortable in that house. "It feels like I'd like to stay here 2 nights." His inner.

"Please drink his tea." Raka served a cup of tea and biscuits choco chips as a complement.

"Well, Lemon tea! Thanks, yeah. Actually, no need to bother."

"No hassle, it's easy to make it." Elsa enjoys the fragrant tea. So cool, he did not realize that the cup of tea and biscuits on his plate had run out. Raka just sat down to accompany her while writing.

"Okay, sorry. I'm busy myself." He said in a soft voice. "It's okay." Reply while continuing to write.

The girl watched Raka intensely. He was very curious about the unique boy before him.

"Your hair looks different from people in general. Red light up."

Raka just nodded. "Have you ever asked your grandmother about hair?."

"No. Anyway, no problem, right? So I was surprised by the people who always asked me about my hair. Tired of hearing that." Raka's answer seemed to warn him not to talk about it anymore.

Elsa sees him busy writing. His hands did not stop even though he was being spoken to. It doesn't look like a child. Like an adult at work.

The atmosphere was very quiet and tense.

Raka really doesn't talk if no one invites. "Don't keep learning, play with your friends once in a while. You will be stressed later. Don't you need friends?" Elsa said, breaking the silence.

His busy hand of writing instantly stopped. His eyes glanced sharply at him.

Gluey!

The girl suddenly shakes. His gaze was truly frightening. "Hmmm.... Sorry ma-I mean..." I want to escape in an instant.

"Can you shut up, no? I really don't like being ARRANGED! Play or not, it's none of your business. Not all kids LIKE TO PLAY. Everyone has their own favorite. Understood?!"

His eyes were in disbelief. The way he spoke and looked at her was truly frightening. Wanting to get out of that place but, his body suddenly stiffened.

"This is your mother's cake. Sorry I can't drive you. Please come out yourself." Said Raka who suddenly gave a white box with a red ribbon decoration on it.

With trembling he took the box and immediately came out. "Huuuh what is that? Why is his face so different? Does he have a double personality?" Monologue on the way home.

"Hmmmm. Friends huh???? Huh!I'd better get some ice cream to cool my brain."

He changed his clothes and did not forget to take the money in his closet and then went out.

"His name...if only Grandma was not busy, I would invite you to enjoy this ice cream together."

While being relaxed with the ice cream in his hand, suddenly someone came to greet him. "Hi, we meet again."

His voice was familiar to his ears. Too bad he returned it. Finally, he continued to eat the ice cream until it ran out.

"Can't be quiet if there's a-"

"You're a bitch. Why do I always come when I'm enjoying my meal? Uncle Hans!" Raka moved from her seat with a sour face. Today, his heart is not okay.

"I didn't mean to bother you. I just wanted to say hello." Said a man named Hans.

"Oooh you're disappointed. Yep, yeah. His name also has a love relationship. There must have been" Raka said as she looked at the yellow rose Hans was holding.

"Hush! You're a kid, you know about that? Don't just read a book." Hearing that, Raka smiled obliquely.

"You spied on me, huh?" Hans was surprised to hear that. Unknowingly, he had entered into the trap of this boy. Raka laughed mockingly. He finally succeeded.

"In the library of More Books, I felt like someone was following me and watching me from afar. Hmh! Pretend to be an officer there. Am I that stupid?! I accidentally picked up a book about romance to get her attention. Hahahahhahaa who turns out, got it too." Evidently.

Hans gawked at his explanation. Really mind blowing. How does he know, even though the person behaves like an officer in general.

"Why are you spying on me? I never seem to have a problem with you." Asked while holding back his frustration. .

"I'm just curious about your life. I know you won't tell me." Answer's fast.

Raka is just a mangosteen, he does not believe it just like that. But he was lazy to extend. I want to rush home and sleep well.

"Do what you want! I don't care. But, remember! Don't bother my grandmother." After saying that, he ran away leaving Hans still speechless.

"Truly a descendant of Vincenzo!" Mumbled.

"So annoyed! Why are people acting so strange. The question is also not important (?). Looks like I'll have to eat something to calm myself down." Raka came home with a sour face and grumbled. He walked in a hurry to get home.

Clamps!

"Good! You guys have fun, and I'm struggling and suffering out there!"

Raka immediately entered and looked at him sharply. Alan sat down casually holding a box of money that Lynn had been collecting.

"Give me the box! That's grandma's hard-earned money."

Alan is not poking. He was still sitting quietly with the box still in his hand.

"Bocah s\*\*lan! You know what you're doing about HARD WORK?! Kids like you know how to spend money. For example, the drugs you take. Is there a result? There's nothing, right?! Hahahaha yes, the same as who consumes it."

His breathing went up and down, he had been holding back his frustration since then. Behind him was a small bench. He picked it up and threw it at Alan.

Brak!

Argh!

The throw was right about his calf. He groans in pain. Suddenly....

"Raka, Alan. What are you guys doing?!" Lynn came in with a gasping breath. He ran from his shop after getting a report from a neighbor who saw Alan coming.

"Throw this boy in the middle of the road! Let him M\*TI! How dare he hurt me!!" Shouted Alan while holding a bruise on his calf.

"HUMANS ARE AS USELESS AS YOU ARE, NOT WORTHY OF LIFE!"

DEG!!!

Lynn who was still confused by this chaotic situation, was startled by the words of her granddaughter. She knows that Raka never liked her Uncle Alan. Therefore, if Will comes Lynn directly told Raka to hide in the room so as not to quarrel with Alan.

And now things he never expected to happen. Raka confronts Alan. Even throwing things.

His purple eyes looked at Alan with anger. Lynn pulled her arm slowly to get away and took her to the room. In the room, he screamed.

"WHY DID GRANDMA LET HIM TRAMPLE GRANDMA? DON'T WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE THAT! WHEN SHOULD I BE PATIENT?!"

Her tears are flowing. He knows everything, even though Lynn tried to cover it up.

Lynn tried to calm him down, he panicked. All this time, his granddaughter had never been tantrums. Just this time he saw her go berserk and hard to control. Finally, he decided to leave her alone first.

Lynn returned to the living room, but Alan was gone. He breathed heavily. His body is very tired. So too with his mind. The door was immediately closed and tightly locked after that, he sat on the floor. "Hiks!, I'm no longer strong." He sobbed, letting out all his stifled feelings of sadness.

Nightfall.

Lynn falls asleep on the floor.Suddenly the door of the room opens and Raka comes out looking at her exhausted-looking grandmother. He feels very guilty. "I shouldn't have done it. I'm sorry." He ran to the kitchen to find food.

"Grandma hasn't eaten yet."

His hands moved agilely peeling and cutting fruit. Not forgetting he took out the fruit pudding he made yesterday.

Slowly, he placed the fresh dish on the living room table. After that, he woke up his grandmother, Lynn immediately woke up. His eyes were swollen after crying.

"Boy, hhmm."

Grep's!

"Mom, I'm sorry I yep snapped at Grandma earlier. Must be granny sad. Aye, right?" Raka hugged him tightly. He really feels guilty.

"It's okay, don't cry anymore. You must be hungry, let's eat." He said comfort Raka.

Lynn looked at the dishes her granddaughter had served. Looks fresh and tempting. They eat with a heart that feels relieved after removing the restrained. After that, they cleaned the house, changed clothes and slept.

"*I actually want to go but, who's going to take care of grandma?. I was surprised by the grandmother who always remained silent when stepped on. I don't like to see a grandmother who can't stand up for herself. Alan, one day you'll get the payback. If grandma won't do it then, I'll do it*."
