The Warm Home

The Warm Home
Chapter 2's

Elsa flower shop

"Waaah! Right my mother said. Aunty-made cakes are fragrant and delicious, yes" said Elsa, the owner of the flower shop. Yes, Lynn was in a flower shop not too far from her home. At that time, Elsa's mother wanted to surprise her son and her son was very fond of small pastries.

"I'd like to order it again for the weekend, would you?" Elsa asked Lynn with her sweet smile. "Oh, sure. Where are you going?" Lynn answered excitedly. "I want to take it myself and want to visit aunt's house".

Lynn and her mother Elsa have been together for a year. In the past, before the flower shop was crowded, Elsa often visited Lynn's house and played with Raka. Elsa has admired Raka's own sister because she really wants to have a younger brother.

"Then Auntie said goodbye first. Gotta get home soon, Raka's been waiting." Lynn said as she walked out of the store. "Send my regards to Raka, yes. I miss that boy so much." Elsa said. "certain. Raka must have missed her brother too. Auntie came home first "

Lynn came home happy. More and more people love their cake. Orders often arrive. He was eager to own a cake shop and recruited several employees to help him make a lot of cakes.

"I want to take my granddaughter to the toy store. She must be happy." Lynn's mind with a smile.

When she reached the front of the house, Lynn knocked on the door and no one opened. He was worried because normally, his grandson immediately opened it.

"Is he sleeping?" Inner wonders. Lynn saw that the kitchen window was still open. He approached her and looked inside. Suddenly his body stiffened, he was shocked by what he saw. Raka, his favorite grandson is lying on the floor.

Without thinking, Lynn went straight inside through the kitchen window and approached her granddaughter. With trembling hands he shook his grandson's body, hoping to wake up soon. But it didn't produce results.

Lynn rushed to hold her granddaughter and left the house for the clinic a short distance away. "Don't leave grandma. You are the only one who loves Grandma. If there's no you, grandma's alone." His mind while crying.

Shortly thereafter, we arrived at the clinic. Lynn went in and screamed for help. The nurse immediately calmed Lynn down and took her granddaughter to the ward.

"No need to worry, ma'am. He was just exhausted and seemed to lack fluid in his body. Better take care of it all night. So it's easier to monitor the situation." Dr. Hans, the general practitioner in charge of the clinic, said.

"Yes, doc. I want the best for my granddaughter." Lynn said softly.

Evening has arrived. Lynn faithfully accompanied her grandson. This afternoon, Raka was transferred to the hospital room. Lynn was worried about the cost. Not that stingy, but he's just afraid he can't pay for everything.

Lynn wiped her tears. He had imagined his grandson's cheerful face while going for a walk and planned to buy him a new toy but, everything was gone already.

"Don't worry, your grandson will be healed. Tomorrow morning, he'll wake up." The doctor said with a smile, which suddenly came. Lynn looked at the doctor. "Yes, I just feel sorry for my granddaughter. Since the baby, she was often sick. I've been giving her healthy food but..." Lynn said as she held her grandson's hand.

"Actually, I wanted to ask. Where's Raka's parents?" Asked doctor Hans while looking at Raka's face.

DEG'S DEG!

Lynn's heart was beating very fast. His tongue was suddenly stiff, his body frozen.

"What am I supposed to say? I don't want to remember that anymore. Too painful!" Inner Lynn. Doctor Hans noticed Lynn's facial features and smiled obliquely.

"It looks like there's a big secret he's hiding."

"If you mind telling it, it doesn't matter. Sorry, it makes you nervous." Doctor Hans said as he got up from his seat.

"Ah, no Doc. I'm just not ready to tell anyone else. It's been so sad." Lynn said with an uncomfortable feeling.

Doctor Hans just smiled. "For payment..."  Lynn immediately looked at the doctor with a surprised expression.

"Not to worry, it's all free." Doctor Hans continued his words with a sincere smile.

Lynn couldn't believe what she was hearing. He fell silent, processing the words of Doctor Hans.

"really? I didn't hear wrong, did I? Everything free? Who paid for it?" Lynn asked curiously.

"This clinic is indeed built for people who cannot afford it. Even if someone pays, they pay as much as they can. We never set the cost." Doctor Hans explained.

"Thank you, doctor. It's helped us." Lynn said with teary eyes.

"Then, excuse me" said Doctor Hans, ending his conversation.  Lynn nodded with a smile.

In a very crowded place with loud music and the sound of people cheering happily. Sit down a drunk young man who looks disheveled and in his hand holds a glass filled with alcohol. It's Alan.

"Damn!!! Siaaall! My money's a little leftover. Where else to look? It's all because of Steven!" Alan murmured with eyes that implied deep anger.

Glucose. Glucose! Brak!!!

"That boy... Always taking my money. If only the money hadn't been used to buy those fucking drugs, I would've gotten a lot of money." Alan was groping after finishing his drink.

Suddenly, he smiled. "I have an idea. Hahahaha" He laughed loudly like a sane person. I don't know what he's planning. That's certain.... Not a good thing.

At midnight, exactly at 23:30. Raka wakes up from her long sleep and wakes her grandmother. He asked for a drink and went to the bathroom. Afterwards, Lynn immediately called the nurse to check on her granddaughter's condition. And it turns out, tomorrow afternoon can go home.

The srek!

"Good morning, handsome prince. Howwasyoursleep? Are you dreaming beautiful?"

Lynn opened the curtains in that room. Today, he was so happy and excited that his grandson was able to go home. Raka's situation is better.

"Let's have breakfast." Lynn said as she thrust out a small piece of sweet apple. Raka shook her head. "don't want. Tastes bitter".

Lynn scrunched her forehead, then ate the piece of fruit. "Hmmmm... It tastes sweet and addictive lhooo. Let's eat. It's really sweet and delicious" Lynn assured her granddaughter.

"But, if I eat it it tastes bad" Raka ate the fruit while grumbling.

"You're gonna get well soon, right? Let's spirit. He said he wanted to go home soon" Lynn said.

"Oh yes! My strawberry milk. Grandma.... I want my strawberry milk again." Raka remembered the strawberry milk she was about to take in the kitchen but, not so because her head hurt and she fainted.

"No. Drink the strawberry milk first. You should drink the milk that the doctor gave you." Lynn said while tidying up the food marks.

"It feels good, Raka. That's special milk for kids your age" Lynn knew that her granddaughter would refuse to drink that milk. But, for the sake of his health, he had to be firm.

The waiting time has arrived. Raka could not wait to lie on her bed. He was bored at the clinic. The cute boy caught the attention of the nurses there because of his good looks. The nurses were always anxious with her chubby cheeks getting softer.

Before going home, Dr. Hans also told to drink more mineral water, and diligently eat fruit because Raka lacked fluids.

Raka was given souvenirs from the clinic in the form of child milk, fresh fruits and small dolls. Lynn was grateful and grateful to the doctors and nurses at the clinic who had treated her granddaughter.

They also came home. Raka was sitting on a wheelchair because she was still limp. The distance from the clinic to the house is quite far. By-by which he gave some of it to me, some of it carried Lynn.

His face looked happy even though it had not fully healed. Soon, they arrived.

"Waaaaaahhhh at home. I miss this soft mattress and the smell of grandma's cookie dough. Ohya! I haven't eaten bread with cells in a long time"

"eyits! No bread and jam. Take a vacation, yaaa. If it is completely healed, you can eat it again. Remember it ? what did Doctor Hans say?" Lynn Strictly

"Yes, I remember. If so, I want to change my clothes and after that, eat grapes.  We eat together, Grandma." He answered while pushing the wheelchair he used earlier.

Once they were clean, they ate sweet grapes while occasionally joking. Lynn is grateful that her granddaughter is back as before. Suddenly he was moody as he remembered Alan.

Although often insolent and always troublesome, children are still children. He was worried about his life pattern out there. He eats regularly, where he lives.

Raka saw her grandmother's face change. He seemed to know what his grandmother was thinking.

"Grandma's worried about uncle?" Ask.

Lynn woke up from her daydream, and drank a glass of mineral water nearby.

"Yes, from yesterday he hasn't come home." Answer lethargic.

"Uncle will also be home. Isn't it usually like this?"

"Yes, you're right. Well then, grandma wants to make a cake ordered by Elsa and Miss Alice. You just take a break, yaa." Lynn said as she moved away from the dining table.

"Grandmother also rest if you are tired, yes. Grandma's gonna be sick." Raka said while holding the end of Lynn's shirt.

Lynn smiled "yes, today's not too much, just calm down." Lynn was glad her grandson paid attention to her.

Evening has arrived. They are ready to sleep. Lynn took a blanket from the closet and stretched it. Raka had already fallen asleep from earlier, the effect of the medicine he was taking.

Lynn can't sleep. I don't know why he suddenly felt so nervous. Not wanting to disturb his grandson to sleep, he walked slowly to the living room.

Lynn sat on a wooden bench while staring at the beautiful night view. Then, his eyes glanced at something. There was a man walking very strangely, near his house.

In a hurry he checked the door of his house, it was locked. Safe.

The srek!

Lynn did not forget to close the window with curtains. Slowly, he walked back to the room. But, his steps came to a halt as the man banged on the door of his house.

Buk up!Buk up!

BRACKET!

The door opened forcefully until there was a broken part.

"Give me all the money you have or..... I sold this old house!"
