Chapter 21. Empty Feeling

Bara kissed his wife's lips greedily, his hands clutching Maura's hands that would not be silent. Maura wept as she pleaded with Bara with her growth, refusing to be touched by Bara.

No, I don't want to!

Bara enjoyed the kiss, although Maura always tried to keep her mouth shut. "Maura, open!"

"No!" Maura shook her head.

"Open up, or I'll force you!" bara's hand gripped Maura's cheek hard, to make Maura's lips pulled forward.

"No..." Maura refused her husband.

Bara kissed Maura again and again violently. Maura herself tried to rebel, she did not want her lips stolen with this state and by a man who had kissed and even made love to other women.

Why does it feel different when I kiss with Vera and Mona?. Bara felt a different feeling when she kissed Maura.

As powerful as Maura tried to push Bara, she bit her lips even her own tongue to let Bara let go. "Ow! Damn woman, how dare you bite my lips!" bara's strangulation finally removed her lips from Maura as her lips bled.

Bara saw Maura crying under her body and her mouth was bleeding. "Hey! Why is your mouth bleeding?" Bara gripped Maura's face, he wanted to see where the blood that was pouring in Maura's mouth came from that wet the sheets. "You? How can you bite your own tongue??!" yelled Bara at Maura.

"You made me this way.Why do you sound anxious?" maura said as she looked at Bara tearfully.

"Don't be stupid, who's worried about you!" The embers moved from Maura's body, and Maura held her hand. "Deliver!"

He should be treated immediately.

"Bara..you love me right? Aye right?" maura asked who was still hoping for the man who had already treated her like that trash.

"Never once" Bara replied while shaking off Maura's hand. The heartache of Maura heard the same answer again, it turned out that her heart still had not accepted Bara's change. There was still a bit of love from the past inside his chest.

Bara left the room and left Maura there. Moments later, it was seen that Binah was walking towards the room while carrying a basin filled with ice cubes and also a glass of turbid water that was somehow contained.

"Miss..." Bi Inah looked at Maura anxiously. He approached Maura while rubbing blood on the corner of Maura's lips.

"Auntie? Why is aunt here?" maura asked in astonishment.

Bi Inah replied that she was ordered by Bara to treat Maura. Maura compressed her tongue with ice cubes to stop the bleeding.

"The man who sent aunt?" maura asked in disbelief.

Maura was stifled to hear it, the man said he never loved her once and then why did he do all this? Is it because of pity?

That night after being treated by Bi Inah, Maura prepares to return to her rented house with Hanna. "Where are you going?" ask Bara who is sitting on the chair.

Even she asked without seeing me, I was actually confused by how you felt about me Bara. Is it true that all love is fake and there is only vengeance?

"I'll go home." Maura replied in a drowning voice as her tongue was still sore.

"Aren't you home, where are you going?" asked Bara who was still turning her back to Maura.

Huh! He spoke as if this house was my home too.

"Wherever I go, it's none of your business."

As she moved from her seat, she approached Maura. "What's? You want to torture me again?" Maura looked up at Bara with that glare.

The man suddenly lowered his head, not knowing what he was thinking. His hands clenched tightly, like holding something.

"Bi Inah." call Bara to Bi Inah who is walking towards the kitchen.

Bi Inah approached the coals and asked what the man was calling her. Bara asks bi Inah to call Hendra, the driver of the house to drive Maura home.

"I will immediately call Mr. Hendra," said bi Inah obediently.

"No need to bi, I'll go home alone."

"This is an order, Maura!" Bentak Bara forced on Maura.

Not wanting to argue anymore with Bara, Maura finally agreed to be ushered in by Hendra. At least he wasn't driven home by Bara and where Bara might drive him. Before Hendra drove Maura home, he asked Hendra secretly to make sure Maura returned home safely and reached his friend's rented house.

After seeing Maura leave, Bara held her head. He looks frustrated for whatever reason.

"Bara...you've managed to turn her smile into tears, but why do I feel upset? Why does my heart hurt to see him hurt?!" Bara looks sad and upset at himself. How does he feel about Maura now?

Hendra and Maura arrive in front of Hanna's rented house. There Maura saw Evan waiting for her. "Maura..."

"Sister Evan?"
